If County get to the cup final...
Good luck to C*unty and I hope they can go all they way. If they were to make the final then I could be tempted to a day out to go and support them. They may be our biggest rivals, but I always feel there's a certain amount of "shared success" in seeing one or other of us doing well, especially in helping to overcome the "wee teams from the sticks" mentality that exists out there. I would draw the line at them winning the league ahead of us though :tonguecheek:

County tickets
It's not an all ticket games as far as I understand, and normally I wouldn't bother....however, as we seem to have a bit of momentum and are doing ok then we could see a larger crowd travelling this time out and it may be advisable.

Wingers On The Wrong Sides
Our problems yesterday weren't in the back line or who was on the wings and which side. The problem was the fact we struggled to get an extra man in behind their defenders to support and/or feed Rooney and this is in large part down to the way Morton set up against us yesterday and they have to be given some credit for having done their homework and using a setup that nullified our greatest threat. It's all fair and well saying "I wouldn't play him there" or whatever, but looking at the bench and the rest of the squad then it's not so easy to say who you would have put in their place. Every man out there did the job that needed to be done, and that was to get another 3 points on the board. It wasn't pretty...not by a long shot, but if we can put out what some might consider a "weaker" team against opposition who were more determined to stop us scoring than they were in scoring themselves and still get the ball in the back of the net and secure a win, then it's job done.

Man of the Match - They're having a laugh!
We have a BBC MoTM, we have a CTO MotM and we have a Sponsors MOTM and they can often be 3 differing players picked by 3 differing groups. If you want to choose the Sponsors MotM then stick your hand in your pocket and go pay for the privilege just as those who picked it did today.

Morton
I don't often wager on ICT but I have an urge to stick ?5 on ICT to win 5-0 tomorrow.

Milwall v Charlton Ticket Thread
The more I read the more I was thinking "poor webmaster". As funny as it is, and it is hilarious, it's stuff like that which can bring a website to it's knees as it goes viral.....and 766,396 views on that one thread.....that's more than we get in a month here, site owner must be pulling his hair out :P

Catering issues at ICT [official]
I did go down on Tuesday night with the intention of buying a pie and drink, I left my seat on the stroke of HT and by the time I got down to the Servery (North End of Main Stand), the queue was already such that I knew I would not be served before 2nf Half kicked off so didn't bother. I did take a note of who I would have been behind in the queue and as I was standing talking to some friends kept an eye on how far they had progressed before returning to my seat...and I imagine the person who would have been in front of me missed at least 6 or 7 minutes of the game. I deliberately chose the busiest servery as that will be the one with the most problems with queues etc. Whilst the queue was a problem, I didn't witness any trouble with the service being provided. Staff seemed to be working at a reasonable pace, nobody appeared to have any need for complaint and the queue, although long, seemed to be orderly and people would have had space to pass if the concourse had not been used as a storage area for what looked like a water/catering delivery that was sitting in the corner making the entrance at the North End very congested. People seem to have developed a habit over the years of congregating towards that one concourse from both the Main Stand and the North Stand and I am assured by others who went to other servery points that queues were far smaller and people managed to leave seat at HT whistle, get a pie and drink and get back to seat in time for second half. Perhaps part of the problem, certainly with the queues, needs to be addressed by encouraging people to make more even use of all serveries. The club could erect some signs pointing to recommended servery, but this would also need to be communicated more directly and fans would need to be willing to take the recommendation and walk the few extra steps if need be in order to help resolve the problem. Of course, this doesn't resolve issues with price & quality, but when people are hacked off by having to wait so long and possibly missing part of the game then, IMO, the frame of mind when they do get served will be to find further fault and perhaps be more critical than is normal/fair about the product they are getting. Just one other point of note. I grabbed a coffee on the way in to the game and it was plenty hot. I did notice that they weren't using the hot water tap on the counter at that time (was a problem with it overflowing or something) and wonder if this is where the issue may lie in terms of complaints about luke warm as opposed to hot drinks?

ICT fan's Old Firm preference...
The problem with the poll is that it only serves to add fuel to the "everyone has a big team" argument. Why must people be one or the other? Why not include a "Neither" option to show how many of us don't give a flying toss for either of them?

Morton
Not sure that's right is it ? The more times a coin comes down tails doesn't make it any more likely to be heads the next time. Yes, but what's the chances/odds of you flipping two heads in a row? Whilst the odds on the upcoming flip will always be 50/50, probability tells us that we'll eventually get a tail and each coin that comes down heads moves us closer to that moment.

Morton
And if you take the laws of probability into account then the longer they have gone without a draw the more likely they are to have one.

Thats the last straw now
Every season ticket is numbered, all the turnstile operators need is a list of those with any issues attaching to them and they can easily and quickly identify it.
-
Thats the last straw now
Ok people, the criticism and opinions are fine, but let's stay away from the name calling and abusive language.

Thats the last straw now
How come you didn't notice that no payments had been taken for 5 months?

The Offside Rule
It has nothing to do with the colour of your hair.....the code for understanding the offside rule is written on the Y Chromosome. This is why you will often hear fans question the sex of the linesman when he makes a mess of it.

ICT -V- QOS : matchnight thread
Renegade, you don't sit in the main stand, behind the home dugout, a row down from the walkway and have a fascination with flank by any chance do you?

Kenny Cameron
Kenny didn't really "go away" he was just very busy with his own business and despite stepping down from the board was still heavily involved with the Youth & Community Charity Trust. I've also just realised that I'm really starting to get sick of the "T" word....everything seems to be a "Trust" these days and we need some new names!!!
-
Kenny Cameron
Kenny will have his work cut out for him...on both sides...and I don't envy him the job of being the man in the middle. However, it's a situation that has long been in need of a respected (and trusted) individual who is both willing and able to bring everyone back to the table and start getting ICT back on track. What inspires me most about this appointment is that Kenny comes to the task with no motive other than what is best for ICT....you just have to look at his involvement with the Youth Trust to see that. Everything is not going to become suddenly rosy over night and theirs issues out there that, IMO, need to be dealt with before anyone can start expecting people to work together properly. Nearly all the respect and trust that existed between the fans and the board has disappeared over the last 5 or 6 years and, again IMO, the clubs word has become worthless, which means they will have to rely heavily on actions. I just hope that the rest of the Board are aware of how bad things have become and have the balls to do what's needed to allow Kenny to do what he has been asked to do, and whilst I don't think the club deserve the benefit of the doubt on anything, I hope that the fans will do their bit if and when the situation permits.

Can relegation from SPL be avoided?
The Railway Bridge stopped being an issue when the minimum capacity for SPL was reduced to 6000. As I understand it the current capacity would reduce slightly with the introduction of all-seater status, which would (obviously) reduce the burden on the bridge.

Dundee -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
It very much isn't! For starters it was 2 - 2 and there was more than 0 people there ;) Two words.....second one is "off" :P

Dundee -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
The report is correct. As has been pointed out on here before (several times) all the stats/table info etc on the official site is controlled by a third party company which is centralised for all PremiumTV sites and it isn't all that reliable. It is therefore very likely that the error on the squad list is not of the clubs doing.

FEB 8th 2000 - DVD
As things stand, we are on track.....the only thing out of our control is the sign off from the SFA who have requested sight of the DVD before we distribute it. They tell us it's because it has licensed content, but I think they are just desperate to get their hands on a free copy

Sanchez
Reminds me a bit of the Juanjo situation. Looked out of place when he arrived, learned the "game" here and started to cause defenders problems and then started contributing with goals. Sanchez seems to be following a similar path and I don't think it will be long before he starts banging in a few more of his own as well as continuing to create chances for others.

Trouble
DornochCaley.....take it to the police and let them deal with it. If you don't, now that you've mentioned it on here they will probably be at myself and Scotty for information on how to contact you anyway (it's happened before). Due to us having had problems with threads like these in the past, which start out perfectly innocently and then go way off track, I am going to close it.

I like my humble pie hot, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream....thanks.

Who ate all the pies?
I'm actually quite upset to hear that things aren't improving, and perhaps getting worse. As someone who thought the club had made a good move with the catering and going to bat for them by asking fans to give them a chance to find their feet and doing what I could to relay information between here and the club to aid that process...then I feel as if I'm now left with a little egg on my face. I honestly thought this was not going to be another case of empty promises, but I perhaps have to put my hands up and say I got this one wrong.
