  1. I have booked the minibus and listed on the opening post all those who have expressed an interest. I am quite willing to do a town centre pick-up at 1/1:15pm and then swing round by the Stadium (will check if ok to park there) for those who need somewhere to park.

  4. Rooney beating his two men for pace to slot his goal home should give the "Rooney is slow" brigade something to think about!!!
  5. Lionel taught him how to do that.
  6. I wouldn't see them stuck.
  7. No problem picking up in Aviemore.

Started a separate thread for minibus chat. http://community.caleythistleonline.com/in...showtopic=17915
  9. Looks like there's some demand for a bit of organised transport down to Morton. As I was looking for a way to make it down to the game myself anyway then I'm willing to look at organising a minibus. I'll check availability first thing in the morning, but I need to know how many we have interested. I'll be looking to get on the road by 1/1:30pm to get down there in good time and then straight back on the road again to get home. Cost will be whatever it costs for hire and fuel split equally among everyone on the bus. Post below if interested. List so far: Hearach dan_ict + 1 Djay Joe DiMaggio Feb8th2000 Alex Macleod + 1 Elder Boy Bronson + 1 Andy + 2 Big Stu

I'm willing to look at organising a minibus, but I would want to leave Inverness about 1 or 1:30pm so as to get down there in good time.
  11. It probably cuts little mustard with those who are at the end of their tether in regards to the situation with catering, but I know the club are fully aware of the fans grievances and I know they are pursuing the matter and chasing up on, as yet, unfulfilled promises of improvements. The only advice I can pass on at the moment is in regards to the queueing and congestion. As I said on the other thread last week, people need to be a little more sensible about which servery they use. At the Ross C*unty game I waited until the HT whistle had blown, clapped the team off the park, went to the Main Stand South servery point and queued for no more than 2 or 3 minutes before being served. I managed a chat with a couple of people before returning to my seat and I still had time to eat my food before the match resumed. So long as people continue to converge on the Main Stand North servery then the problem of queues is never ever going to be sorted there. Let's do ourselves a favour by making better use of all the serving areas, including the ones on the West Side of the Stadium which are also not used to full effect.

And they have the brass neck to call those in the Main Stand "Sweety Rustlers"

If I can find transport down then I shall be there.

  15. I believe we will definitely see a return to a structured line of communication of similar ilk to the Boardroom Banter of the first series where the club volunteered information instead of waiting for questions on everything. Communication between the Club & Supporters Trust has improved greatly already and relevant information is being passed to CTO, allowing us to assist in answering the questions that come up in day to day chat and we will continue to do that in order to share the load whilst more permanent and long term communication methods are being established.

  18. Totally hacked off....all ready to set off for the football and I had to take care of a minor medical emergency and now won't make it.
  19. The moderators were asked to assist with the testing before the system was put live....if you want to call that a perk/privilege then fair enough. They were asked to do this before it had been pointed out that we could not include the red card incident, so they got a sneak preview before it was taken down and replaced by the exact same highlights everyone else is now seeing.
  20. When doing online/streaming video you have to find a balance between quality/file size/bitrate (the speed it serves the file to your PC). The files on the official site are produced at a level which keeps the quality of the video acceptable whilst compressing the file size and bitrate as much as possible. This should be enough for it to run smoothly on the majority of computers, but other things can come in to play and cause what you have/are experiencing...things such as your internet connection speed, PC's capabilities, browser you are using etc. One thing you can do if you get these buffering/slow issues is load the page, hit the pause button and wait for the whole video to load on screen before watching....or try the .flv version to see if it behaves any better.

Had we not clawed our way back into the current position then I would be arguing the case for getting players signed up now, no matter what. However, so long as the players are content with holding off till we are promoted or otherwise then I see no point whatsoever in bringing in any kind of distraction between now and the end of the season.
  22. Bookmarked
  23. Not negative at all, and you're not the only one who's feeling this way. The best thing we as fans can do is get right behind the team for the full 90 minutes in every game whether we are winning, losing or drawing and whether we are playing good, bad or ugly. As has been said by others, every game here on in is a cup final for the players and that goes just as much for the fans, so let's get out there and cheer as we would in a final.
  24. Yup, that's exactly the kind of TV that I tend to watch
  25. It's the fans job to get ahead of themselves and to focus that positive energy on supporting the team. So long as it's tempered with a bit of realism and we don't get caught up in calling for heads and dishing out abuse to our own if we suffer any blips then all is well.
