Decisions, be they good, bad or indifferent, are part and parcel of the matchday experience. There's too much happening to strip the atmosphere from the stands as it is, and all the extra officials and/or technology would do is dull it even more. It's a decision against you that unites the fans in giving the ref or opposition plater a bit of stick, a decision for us that unites the fans in cheers or applause. These things inspire us to get up and clap/cheer/jeer "in the moment" and if you start referring them to 5th/6th officials or upstairs for video evidence analysis then you take that moment away. Spend the money training better referees, pay them a bit more and make them more accountable. Have performance reviews which directly impact on grade and pay....that's the only improvement that's needed IMO.

The subject of the Club Shop came up at the AGM and it was confirmed that the club have no intention (and never had) of closing the shop at the stadium. We may witness shortened opening hours as they work out the change in demand and they are still investigating possibilities for a city centre outlet.

So you'd rather we had players going stale on the sidelines then Caleymad?

From what was said at the AGM this evening it would appear that this was always part of the plan to allow us to retain these young lads longer term. The club had considered not entering this years NoS cup, but did so in order to give these lads some game time. Now that cup is finished they need to look at other ways to be getting these boys some regular match experience and the only way to do that (now that we have no reserve league) and not lose them altogether is to try and find clubs to take them on loan....and hopefully make a contribution towards wages.

Livingston suffers even more than Inverness in terms of being populated by people who are not from the area. I would be very surprised if more than 20% of the Livingston population were "native".

You predicted "anti-English" so I through the obvious line out there and you bit....that's fishing I'm actually pretty apathetic in regards to footballing matters beyond those involving ICT and Scotland....and now we're out, i don't really care who wins it. Also, for what it's worth, I think what some see as "Anti-English" is little more than simple neighbourly rivalry these days....although it may not have always been such.

Odhiambo has been on light training for a couple of weeks now so the Courier are a bit behind on that one. I'm also pretty sure Imrie has had his cast off for at least a week, don't remember seeing it last time I met him anyways.
