  1. I thought that might have been pushing my luck and that them heading off to sign the register to chants of "Oh Inverness" was a suitable alternative
  2. Not really my place to say, but I just felt it important that the player get a Thank You as part of my brief summary of the things that made it such a great weekend.
  3. I had the privilege of being Robs bestman at the wedding and as much as I might fault the club in some areas they got everything spot on at the club for the big day, The ceremony went smoothly and Club Chaplain, Rev Hugh Watt, delivered a great service and set the tone just right for the occasion. Darren was on hand to make sure that anything and everything that was needed was made available and that people were where they needed to be when they needed to be there. While all that was going on Liz and her team were working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that everybody was fed and watered and that preparations for the meal (and the evening reception) etc were in hand. The food was great, the entertainment was spot on and even when it came to the end of the night you weren't being thrown out the door like might happen elsewhere. The club had even got a sign made up for outside the front door of the club wishing Rob and Julie all the best, and this ended up at the pitchside for matchday. Grassa was keen to make sure they had tickets for wherever they wanted in the stadium and made sure this had been sorted out. And then to top it all off, when Julie and Rob went in to collect the last bits and pieces they had left there the day before and asked if the could leave the top tier of the cake for the players they were told that they could present it themselves and were whisked off up to the post match hospitality. I'll name no names and give no details, but their was one other act of extreme generosity on the part of one of the ICT players which topped off what was a great weekend. He knows who he is and what he did and I know just how gob smacked (in the nicest possible way) Rob and Julie were by your gesture...it's these things that set the ICT Players apart from those at other clubs...Thank You. Over the years ICT have given us all a lot of "Moments to Remember" on the pitch, and last Friday they extended that to off the pitch for Rob and Julie. Talking of the pitch, how could I forget to thank Tommy. We all know that the grass is hallowed turf but I'd like to thank him and say that I appreciate his patience when pictures were being taken there when he was keen to crack on with preparations for the next day. As to the photo of Imrie.....I think the worried look is the fact that Brewster is charging across the room behind the camera about to rugby tackle him to get that cake from his hands
  4. That design got through quicker than most and is now available to purchase. Don't forget you can customise the colours of both the t-shirts and the print when your ordering and don't have to go with what I've put on the shop for display purposes. If you want any of the designs on any other items just ask, or alternatively you can use the Designer Shop to make any item up in any way you want (including personalising with names etc).
  5. I don't think Rory is hiding behind anything to be honest, it's us fans who have the debate about why he can perform (most of the time) in reserves, but not in the first team. I think he has the ability...I've seen it, and we've seen bits of it even when he's played for the first team. It's my opinion that there's some kind of psychological barrier there, maybe a confidence thing. When a player is on the pitch we can all be guilty of a comment or two telling them to get the finger out when they're not doing well or whatever, but I don't agree with hounding him when he's warming up and I think some people take it too far on here when they can offer nothing more than a "so and so is chit" and not back it up with why they think that. People/fans get frustrated for whatever reason, and when that happens they look for the "easy targets" to vent on. I'm not saying that criticism of him is unfounded, but it baffles me that he gets such a hard time when he's not evening playing that much. There's players out there this season who have had worse days than him, and they get a relatively easy time of it.
  6. If the Highland Marchers can get in carrying a flag tied to a tree (including roots), then you guys shouldn't have any trouble
  7. Here's a quick preview of the "Sweetie Rustler" design I'm waiting on being added to the system....
  8. We perhaps don't hear enough about these young lads...which may be no bad thing if we want to keep other clubs at bay...but it seems that in the last couple of seasons we've started to produce/unearth some fairly talented individuals. Well done to Shane on his award, hopefully it spurs on others to show them that even though many think of Inverness as a backwater, there's opportunity a plenty if they stick in.
  9. I've got a "Sweetie Rustler" design winging it's way through the system as we speak and it should be available by the weekend.
  10. HMS Sneck design added as promised....... Also available in the designer shop with and without text. Designer Shop Link Normal Shop Link
  11. Perhaps your choice of words could have done with a little more thought!!!
  12. They might just I've now added the "Jaggy Inside" design to the shop and the designer shop....a couple of HMS Sneck related designs to follow in the next day or two. 13. Some people seem to come into this world with the self-destruct button permanently turned on and Pele is one of them. You have to wonder just how far he might have gone if it wasn't for all his troubles.
  14. The club normally sell any unsold programmes in the shop, might be worth giving them a call.

The only problem with that is we would never charge the club for advertising, so it would be self defeating on our part. We do have space on the front end of the site (news/info part) and the club have an advert there. We also offer advertising to any company/business who wants to advertise there (which we charge for) and if we got enough support in that regard then we could look to extending those adverts on to here instead of the random google ads. So if you own, or know anyone who owns a business and they want to lend their support and advertise on a website that gets 5,000,000 plus page views a year then feel free to point them in our direction.
  16. Doesn't mean to say they shouldn't give it a go and it certainly doesn't mean they will look "pathetic". It's attitudes such as that which serve to kill the little atmosphere that is generated. If it's not for you then don't worry about it and concentrate on watching the game instead of worrying about what others do.
  17. Big Oaks from Little Acorns grow....even if just a few of them start things off, then perhaps the bug will catch and it will grow week on week.
  18. If Brewster can continue to have the players playing as they did on Saturday with a bit of fight and fire in their bellies then that's what will win me over. When the lads our out there playing with that confidence and belief then everything else falls into place. I said after the St Mirren game thaat he needs to learn to cut them loose every now and again so they can show what they can do and we saw that against Kilmarnock....I lost count of the number of times Hastings was on the right side of the field, Rossco was on the left, Vigurs was pushing deep into the corners etc. In past games you would have expected this to have left holes in our setup, but on Saturday the players were covering for each other, they were playing instinctively and it was the best feeling I've had whilst watching a game at TCS for a long time....and going by the way the fans responded, I wasn't the only one that got a lift from it. If we go out and play the same way this Saturday at Tannadice and fans can walk away from the game knowing the players gave it their all then win, lose or draw...you can't ask for any more and that's what I look for every week. Whilst people might try to defend Brewster with a "It's the players out there doing the job for 90 minutes" argument, he is the manager, he is the man responsible for making sure they are fired up for the game and he is the man that calls the shots with formation and which players to put on the field....ultimately if it's not working then the buck stops with him. Just like one loss does not make a bad manager, one win does not make a good manager. Brewster has to show that he can get that performance from the team every week, and if he can do that then the team will get it's just rewards and Brewster will win over many of his critics. At this moment in time I would not be upset in the slightest if Brewster was to be replaced and it's up to him to make me, and others who think similar to me, change our minds. Saturdays win and the performance after the first 20 minutes is a great platform for us to build from, let's make the best of it and hopefully come Christmas none of us will be looking to see anyone moved on from the club. That includes getting player contracts sorted, setting egos aside and ensuring off the field events don't impact on what we do on the pitch.
  19. Now that I have the online T-Shirt store up and running, you guys want to work with me to come up with a couple of designs for the BENI and/or Section G?

It's not the first time I've said that Black is the tallest midget in Scottish Football....I think he has one of those self image conditions...you know, where he looks in a mirror and sees a 7 foot giant, because he plays like he thinks he is (and that's no criticism)
  23. We need a Whoooooosh!!!!!! Smiley

If that's how you get your jollies and it's the kind of links your looking for then I suggest you cast your net a little further afield than a football forum.
