  1. It will all end in tears - and those who voted in favour of it better not go complaining when attendances start to fall even more.
  2. The question is, does he want to take a step down to better his chances of playing first team football, or does he want to bide his time with us in the hope that he gets his chance again next season. I think the fact we have players who are so eager to play is a testament to them and the work ethos at ICT. Their are plenty players in the game who are only too happy to sit on the bench or in the stands every week and collect a wage whereas our players want to get out there and do what they get paid to do. What CC needs to do (and what I think Brewster failed to do) is to use that hunger to our advantage with some additional squad rotation. Players also have to realise that if they are being rotated that it is not necessarily because they are doing any wrong or not performing and more to do with keeping the team fresh and fighting.
  3. Need at least 1 more team so we can get started - once the new league starts no more teams can join until 2 weeks before the end of the season. As I will be away next week I'll leave it open until I get back and start the season then, that should give people plenty time to get signed up if they wish.
  4. As per the Press Release, they have been granted a period of grace.
  5. No limit to the max number of teams we can have, if we get too many for a single league we just add additional levels - like Div 1/2/3 etc.
  6. I stumbled upon an online Footie Manager game called Xpert Eleven which looks quite interesting. I have set up a league called CaleyThistleOnline for those who want to give it a try. League ID is 61170 or you can use the direct link http://www.xperteleven.com/?lid=61170 Once we have 6 registered teams we can get it started.
  7. If you mean what Charity, then proceeds are spilt between MFR Charity Trust and TeamICT
  8. Our lowest attendance at home in the SPL this season was against Motherwell on 4th March and was 3183. Our average at the moment is 5175 - an attendance of 2023 or more against Falkirk will see us finish the season with an average over 5000.
  9. Perhaps my use of the phrase "closed shop" is a little strong, but my point remains the same. People are less likely to part with £10 to join if they don't get a chance to see what it is all about. I also agree about the Supporters Club etc having a responsibility to look after their members first, however the Trust is not a "Club", it is an organisation charged with looking after and promoting a better working relationship between the club and the entire community served by the club. Nowhere does it make any reference to acting only in the interests of its members, or that membership should carry any personal benefits. It's there in black and white in the Trusts Rules I'm all for encouraging members and have done and still do my bit on that front, but a "FANS FORUM" by it's very name should be open to ALL fans without condition. Nowhere in the definition of a "FAN" have I ever seen it say that to qualify as one you must be a Trust Member.
  10. A paypal paymentt option couldbe set up on here to make it easier for people to contribute if people want it.
  11. The meeting at Dens was not advertised as being open to all. It seems things are only open to all if people are being asked to put a hand in their pocket.
  12. Yeah both CCC and Lauraness are
  13. In what way? I am a Trust Member so if I want to attend I can, nothing for me to be "embittered" about. So you are in agreement that having a closed shop is a mistake? I raised my concerns before and after the last fan forum on this matter and am merely doing so again. I will continue to raise it until someone chooses to listen and take action. I don't see how giving the impression that the Trust is a closed shop or trying to bribe people into joining by restricting access to a "FANS" forum can be a positive development. I'm not suggesting that the this impression is being created deliberately or with any intent but The Trust is constitutionally bound to act for the benefit of the entire community which is served by the club and not only the Trust members and organising an event such as this which is open to members only breaches that, IMO. I believe in the concept of Supporters Trusts and encourage everyone to join and have their say and to take part in developing the trust but people should not be bribed or coerced into joining in this manner. Would you buy a sealed box for £10 without knowing what was in it?
  14. Limited (subscription) televised viewing and as such fewer people watching games on TV is unlikey to be attractive to a new sponsor who wants everyone to see their name at every opportunity. Therefore what you gain in one hand you lose in the other.
  15. Pictures provided by Peter Paul also available in the Photo Gallery now
  16. Don't like this idea - OF will get the majority of the additional money (as always) and the rest will be bought off with a few extra quid here and there if they get on the TV. It's not more money the game needs on the whole it is more even distribution of the money that is already there and for those who are still not doing so to cut their cloth according to what they have, not what they might get. One of the biggest issues is not enough people putting bums on seats up and down the country and the SPL want to risk reducing those numbers and increasing the problem by having more televised games!!!!! It's hard enough for people to plan ahead for fixtures as it is without giving Setanta an even bigger say in moving games to alternate times/dates. How many people ended up missing out on our games which were shifted this season due to television? It may have put a few extra quid in the bank, but you have to draw the line somewhere - yet again the "bigwigs" are feckin with our game and it's traditions (Saturday afternoon football) for the sake of a few quid. Some things should not be for sale.
  17. Not likely if the Trust insist on making it a closed shop.
  18. Pictures provided by Gordon Gillespie (NorthSport) have been added to the Photo Gallery.

I don't believe any contact was made with Rossco - but the intention was there which should have been enough to send him walking.
  20. I thought someone had let some C*unty buskers in. They also had some kind of cheapo electronic loud hailer or something. All good fun, as annoying as the tamborine was to start with, I soon switched off to it.

    Referee

He seemed a little green (no reference to Celtic bias) just that he seemed easily duped by people taking a dive etc. As has been said though, he was gettin sod all assistance from the nearside linesman. I counted at least 3 blatant handballs were missed, not to mention the pass back that the keeper picked up. He was a little whistle happy which made a poor game even worse. However, we have had far worse and compared to some of the recent muppets we have had this guy was top drawer. At least he was all round inept and wasn't just blind to the actions of one team or the other.

I'll go out on a limb and guess that a man smashed a bus window and was arrested.
