  1. RealJags and JoeDM, gimme a holler when you are free, am about most of the time.
  2. I thought I would start a new thread to prevent taking the other too far off topic. Alex, I make no secret of the fact that I have concerns with the way the Trust is being run and my attempts to raise and discuss these issues with members of the Trust Board are being ignored or brushed under the carpet time after time. My reference to the change of approach was in response to an e.mail I received from a member of the Trust Board regarding the treatment of the fans by the Stewards saying that the Trust would take no action till those involved approached them, however, on this occasion where it involves a subject which will gain them a lot of "credibility" in the eyes of the fans if they can help resolve it they are falling over themselves to help. When an issue arises and is talked about by so many people, then it makes no sense to ignore it when it effects their "business", whether they have received a formal communication on the issue or otherwise. A refusal to open a discussion on such topics shows that people have something to hide, or have a fear of "rocking the boat" - in short it's Political BS and we saw enough of that from the groups and organisations which were in operation around the time of the merger. I make no apology for my comments or the fact that they may be annoying you in any way. If the Trust do not wish to sit down and discuss issues people/members raise with them about it's running in an open manner then I will continue to highlight the faults in public until such time as they choose to talk properly or run the trust in conjunction with the Constitution, Rules and Objectives laid out upon it's formation. A lot of people have not joined the Trust because they see it as just another Self Interest Organisation, and so far the Trust have done little to prove them wrong. I chose to join the Trust and have a voice, and as much as some people would like to see me just "go away", that ain't happening. I believe in the concept of the Trust and will continue to fight to see it operating in the way it should be. It's about time we had a Supporters Organisation that was 100% open and operating for ALL fans on ALL issues, regardless of membership status. If the approach to the issue regarding treatment of disabled fans is a genuine change to the way the Trust will be approaching fans concerns then I welcome it as a positive move in the right direction, however, if it is not a change in policy and simply some kind of PR exercise then it simply serves to highlight a major underlying fault with the Trusts operation - time will tell. I am perfectly aware that some people think I am on some kind of personal crusade, and I am aware that this train of thought is being encouraged by some who wish to discredit me and my views. That's life and these people are welcome to do their best. I learnt a long time ago what kind of person I am and where my faults lie so fear nothing people have to throw at me. I openly admit I have made statements which were unfounded/misguided in the past and I have apologised where I have made errors. I will no doubt make similar errors again in the future - that's life - but I'm big enough to admit when I get it wrong and move on so if anyone has any kind of personal vendetta, you can be sure it isn't me.
  3. Apologies for going (slightly) off topic, but glad to see the Trust have changed their policy on taking up fans concerns, especially after I was previously told that where an issue arose then they "have to be formally approached by who ever was affected" in order for the Trust to intervene. I'm sure others will also welcome this new pro-active approach by the Trust, long may it continue with regards to ALL concerns.
  4. This will be the potential 2nd spot that LG and I mentioned on the old site and everyone told us we were talking nonsense then? :010:
  5. Need to start winding Scotty in before he gets too far ahead.
  6. We saw a Virgin in Falkland - maybe it was a sign :015:
  7. Arrived back from HM4 last night and finally finished my HM4 duties this morning. Haven't finished typing up my diary for the week but it was an experience unlike anything I have ever enjoyed before. This last week has been so much more than I ever anticipated, and I mean that from a positive point of view. I am humbled by Yompa's comments about me above, especially as I had the honour of spending the last week with some of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I am proud to have been able to assist them in achieving what they have, not only from the point of view of the walk itself, but for what it has achieved in terms of the money raised for MFR Charity Trust and Team ICT. A totally selfless act on the part of each and every one of them and they deserve as much applause for that as they do for completing the route itself. A big :021: to everyone who took part (regardless of how far they walked). They all gave 100% and nobody can ask any more than that of anybody. It's people like this who stand as an inspiration to others and I am already looking forward to HM5.
  8. ITN Jnr decided to remove his post himself around about the same time as I was posting my reply. We all make statements which we later realise are not best placed which is what happened on this occasion and I think it is best left at that.
  9. ITN Jnr - if that's what you call sarcasm you need to take a serious look at yourself - or maybe I'm just a "retard" The content of your post is nothing short of disgusting. Being a carer and giving up a part of your own life/time to help those less fortunate than others is more than I imagine you will ever achieve (degree or no degree) if your post is any indication of your attitude towards such issues. Time to wind your neck in a bit.
  10. It was mentioned at the fans forum that the design was changed at the last minute so I wouldn't pin your hopes/fears on it being the one in the pic doing the rounds. In fact, it seems to be almost standard practise these days for clubs to leak fake pics to throw counterfeiters off the trail. By posting the image it only serves one of 2 purposes - it makes you look a little silly when it turns out you got it wrong, or it gives counterfeiters the opportunity to produce black market strips which in turn takes money from the clubs pocket. For anyone considering posting a picture of the "possible" strip - let your conscience be your guide with regards to whether you think it is the right thing to do or not. The strip is due out in a little over 4 weeks, is it really that long to wait to allow it to be released in the proper manner?
  11. Rangers founded 1690? Obvioulsy spent a lot of time playing with themselves - and to this day they continue that tradition - W*nkers
  12. Whats with Brewster and all the cheap shots at Inverness on every given opportunity?
  13. That makes 3 of us then - more in what wasn't said than what was said on this occasion. I also wonder when DFS will be purchasing our Chinese feeder team?
  14. I think Dargo's goal last week has sent Brewster over the edge
  15. Are apathic feelings self contradicting? Discuss!!!
  16. I'm going to make sure am sitting outside the Tomatin with a lovely cold pint as you all pass........after I've waved you all off and gone home for ma big fry-up that is
  17. Surgery worked a treat then Jock :P
  18. Perhaps a sign that a couple of the "usual" reserve players are going to get the chance to stretch their legs against Livi?
  19. So far as I can see it's mostly "paper talk" with alleged situations, feelings and statements. How often does this happen (at every club) and nothing comes of it?
  20. The old touch is coming back - 3 good games against RnB Comeback. Am away next week so whoever I play will need to wait till next Sunday at earliest.
  21. We'd need to sponsor the Mascot for me to have any chance of winning a shirt that fits
  22. As I have said before - some things should not come down to money. The bottom line for clubs may be improved, but it's another chisel mark in the games traditional values. Watching football should be all about getting off your butt and getting to the game. We are fast approaching an era where all games will be televised and nobody will have to go anywhere near a stadium, and anything that encourages or makes moves towards such a scenario is a bad thing IMO.
  23. There is a new one and it is due to arrive at Stadium start of June. Club have done everything in their power to ensure no repeat of problems with previous new strips.
  24. My monies on the ladies. And you should all buy em a drink as an apology when they romp into Carrbridge on Sunday afternoon.
