  1. The REAL danger
  2. "insulting to their relationship" - what does that even mean? Your entire post reads like a 16 year old trying to sound intelligent in an English essay, pure word salad. Laws claimed the allowance he did because he didn't want to declare that he was living with his gay partner, for his own personal reasons. If he had declared that he was living with his partner he'd have recieved just as much allowance, probably more. What you actually said was "As an individual, I show no homophobic tendencies but I hope that this despicable individual is ripped apart by as many third rate tabloids as possible, his life dissected in front of us all". That's a clear reference to Laws personal life. If you didn't have any interest in his sex life, why did you prefix your statement with 'I'm not homophobic BUT'?
  3. Lol, jews account for less than 2% of the population of the United States. Most of whom vote Democrat anyway. Yes, it's exactly the same.
  4. That in itself is a bigotted statement. No it isn't. Another point to mention is that David Laws could have claimed just as much money if he'd been open about his private life. It was the fact he didn't want to reveal details of his sexuality that lead him to breach regulations.
  5. All of it is pathetic. You sound like a complete political illiterate, who is in the midst of a classic internet tantrum because you didn't understand that the Liberal Democrats under Clegg have more in common with the Conservatives than with the Labour Party under Brown. Your reaction to this is a foaming mouthed, keyboard smashing binge every time the coalition does anything. There are members of Parliament and members of the government who committed worse offences than this under the old expenses regime - the Defence Secretary recently paid back tens of thousands of pounds, for example. The most pathetic part of your post, though, is where you state Lovely. So it's not enough that he'll pay the money back, that he's lost his job, that he's been outed against his will in front of his family and friends but you want to get your sweaty mitts on the scurrilious details of the mans life? You sound like a creepy pervert to be honest. Oh and anyone who ever says "I'm not racist/bigoted/homophobic BUT" invariably is.
  6. I think Israel have made a big blunder in this attack. There's no justification for attacking a convoy carrying aid, even if some of the aid was on a banned list. I'm not a nautical expert but I doubt that the only way to prevent the ships from docking was to send naval commando's into battle. If the ship had been carrying weapons then I thinkit would be a different story but unless there was more than meets the eye with this then it's a grave error from Israel.
  7. What a pathetic post.
  8. Dundee United do need more cash through the gate to service their gigantic debt.
  9. I think we were speaking to him on the bus back from the second County game in Dingwall. I mentioned his name to my dad when I got back, he was a well known Inverness guy and a really good fellow apparently. RIP.
  10. Dunno about her lungs but she has nice tits
  11. The LIberal Democrats DID say in advance that they would talk to the party with the biggest number of seats. Perhaps Liberal Democrat voters would see that the route that they have gone down was the only real option they had. The coalition document also puts into play a rather remarkable number of Liberal Democrat policies - they have got more out of this than "a few cabinet posts and a company car". This is how coalitions are formed, it's how politics works. You run on a programme and then, if one party doesn't get an overall majority, you form a coaltion, agree which parts of each manifesto to implement and then get on with implementing them. The Liberal Democrats have formed alliances with the Conservatives on many local councils across the UK and Nick Clegg is the most right-leaning leader they have had. I voted Liberal Democrat and am pretty satisfied with the coalition agreement and what they've done so far.
  12. If we want to save money we should just sell all the residents of Dingwall, ALness, Tain and the other reservations above the Black Isle into slavery. That should make at least a few hundred quid.

    Transfer rumour

One attraction of Duff is that he is pretty versatile, or however you spell that.
  14. Get Schemie'd up
  15. You know a programme is a bit rough when the most sympathetic 'character' in a pitbull owned by a junkie drug dealer. I felt sorry for Kendal, the wee lassie. She seemed bright, some chance she has in life. It was tragi-comic when she was talking about the alkie who was living with them "sometimes he goes out for the shopping and just didn't come back..." :D
  16. Apparently the club put a banner up wishing County luck. I wonder if all the players were supporting County...
  17. 3-0 Cowden now. McAllister was in the papers today hinting that he didn't get on with Brewster and felt he didn't get a chance at Caley.
  18. Perhaps we could look at gettign some loans in from down South - look at the success Motherwell had in getting Ruddy and Jutkiewitz in from Everton. Butcher and Malpas have both managed in England and we signed plenty players from there last summer.
  19. Coalition agreement I agree with quite a lot of what they have set out. Especially like the bits about civil liberties and raising the levels of income tax allowance. Not so keen on the ridiculous immigration cap (a complete waste of time and bureacratic nightmare) and the ambigious policies on banking, although I agree that a review should be carried out on banking regulations and that the Tri-partite system should be scrapped. The elephant in the room is the budget deficit - this needs to be cut and the cuts will be massive. Labour's growth forecasts are looking optimistic meaning that the cuts may need to be deeper than first thought. Do the Lib Dems have the stomach for this? I think that CLegg, Laws, Cable, Alexander et al do but taking their colleagues and party with them might be difficult.
  20. I am a proper liberal so am interested to see where this goes.
  21. Allan Russell scored a lot of goals in Division Two a few seasons ago. What could go wrong about buying a prolific Division Two level striker and playing him in the premier league? Completely changing the subject 100%, how is Andy Barrowman doing these days? :( Irvine I don't know much about. He's a full back isn't he?
