I seem to mind reading an interview with Brewster round about the time of Munro's appointment in which said he asked the players who they'd want to be captain after Dods left... As far as I can remember he said the players' decision was unanimous.

Belfast Press Report A man was charged today with intimidating Romanian people in Belfast, as it emerged that 100 migrants from the country had decided to leave Northern Ireland for good. Twenty-five Romanians have left and 75 are to return to their home country after racist attacks, Margaret Ritchie, Northern Ireland's development minister, said. Police are also investigating an attack on a church that gave 114 Romanians shelter last week after they were driven out of their homes. Shane Murphy, 21, of Belfast, appeared at the city's magistrates court to face charges of intimidation and threatening behaviour. He denied the charges. Murphy also denied acting provocatively by shouting racist comments at a rally held in the city last week. The magistrate refused a bail application, saying there was a danger Murphy could interfere with witnesses.

What the police chief said at the time was that he did what he thought was right - and in everyone's best interests. That's roughly what Tony Blair said about 3 years after the invasion of Iraq. Of course all the police involved should be called to account for the decisions they took that day... if only to reduce the chances of anything like that ever happening again in the future.

Not everyone dies of old age Alex... Murder, drugs related deaths, suicides, road accidents, etc, etc... The list is endless. Yes I know but when deaths are suspicious or unexpected there is usually a fair bit of publicity surrounding them so I think we'd likely remember if an ICT footballer had died unexpectedly. These things can be hushed up though... Look at Michael Jackson.... He actually died in 2007! See here

I understand your frustration BD... No names - no pack drill, but I am aware of one complete tube on that hand picked team, who clearly has major difficulty trying to assemble a coherent sentence, and who wouldn't recognise courtesy if it jumped up and kicked him in the bollox!
