  1. That's the most sensible suggestion I've heard yet... It would let the board know what future home attendences will be like if they persist with the present management team
  2. We'll all be behind the team on Sunday - not Saturday. It's up to the manager to instill some confidence and heart back into the team, by winning their respect... This, quite clearly, isn't happening. It didn't happen for him at Dundee Utd either but at least their board saw the light and made a decision. THERE HAS TO BE A CHANGE BEFORE THE JANUARY WINDOW OPENS.
  3. I would seriously have doubts about Park wanting to leave Hibs. I'm not so sure.... there could very well be upheaval at Easter Rd soon. It would be great to see him back here again - with Robbo.
  4. A pre-match pint in the Norseman in Greenock Dunfermline steak bridies The return of the Highland derby Two games a season within half an hour's walk from my house A wee carry-out by the River Nith on a spring afternoon A return to Broadwood, scene of one of our greatest-ever matches Looking forward to it already! Dunfermline steak bridies... mmmmm..
  5. Barry's signed for QOS.. I agree with Scotty on Robbo until the end of the season....
  6. A defeat wont seal it but fan power might Or a heavy defeat and fan power...
  7. That's not acceptable behaviour at the ground and would result in the arrest and exclusion of the fan. And rightly so.....
  8. Even when he came off the bench for the last 15 minutes he was always likely to contribute something worthwhile... I loved the guy...
  9. One or two seem to be missing the point here.... I'm not asking for scoreline predictions... (happy to leave that to Gringo) Given that Brewster's future with ICT could be hanging in the balance, what would be the best possible result for next Sunday? I'm worried that a draw or even a narrow win (unlikely) might take the pressure of him for a week or two - If that happened and he stayed with us, I can see ICT slowly bleeding to death....
  10. At your own risk... :D Are you afraid of the cold jay-7 ? There wouldn't be room on IHE's bum for all these letters... :D

And here we are fretting over ICT's problems...
  12. Park near the stadium and when/if you leave early stay in your car leaning on the horn. The harmonics of umpteen horns blaring will get some attention. In Spain and Italy that's how fans celebrate a victory!
  13. Every single home supporter and probably even half the Rangers support would oblige!!
  14. So what would be the best possible outcome of Sunday's match? I say a draw or a narrow win would secure Brew's position to the end of the season, maybe longer, whereas a heavy and embarassing defeat could very well seal his fate... I don't want to boycott my team or see them get a complete doing but the rot has to stop somewhere - changes have to me made. Unfortunately we appear to be stuck with an impotent board incapable of making a decision. I'd actually prefer to see another 5-0 doing on Saturday and Brew on his bike, than see us somehow scramble a draw and be stuck with him for the rest of the season. Whether watching in a pub, or making anti-Brew chants at the stadium what would represent an ideal scoreline come Saturday?
  15. Have to agree with that..... Why give the club money for Brewster to squander on players that are unlikely to do anything for us...
  16. It's unlikely I know, but would a victory over Rangers on Saturday secure Brewster's position until the end of the season?
  17. Agree with everything said here but he aint going to walk, in News of World it says even though the visiting fans called for Brewster to quit he has no intention of doing that, he said " am I confident I can turn this around? Absolutely" And the longer he tries to hang on, the longer it will take his replacement to sort everything out...that's if he'll have any decent players left to work with.... When will he waken up to the fact the buck has to stop with him?

That's hardly a "wee survey" Caroline, and apart from a tiny wee box at the very end there doesn't seem to be a category for commenting on the team manager's attributes and/or shortcomings.
  19. Old Japanese proverb says that woman who cooks beans and pees in the same pot is very unhygienic...
  20. That sums our situation up perfectly... I couldn't have put it any better than that... Somebody make a decision soon.... PLEASE
  21. Here for the long haul.. Good authority?.... :018: Naah.... No danger, H/dee... Common sense will prevail - some kind of Harry Redknapp figure will soon be installed and the transformation will be so dramatic that even you will become a committed supporter... (or maybe just committed) My golf's heading in much the same direction as my football team.... :thumb04: How's yours?
  22. That line-up is virtually what faced Aberdeen at Pittodrie and Killie at Rugby Park, and Hibs as recently as the 8th November... They haven't all become crap players overnight, although right now the team as a whole is totally lacking cohesion, and is completely bereft of any kind of team spirit. A little bit of motivation and inspiration would soon see us picking up points again... sadly that's clearly not going to come from the present management team. To leave Brewster in charge and even give him some money to squander, as has been promised by the the chairman, would be like putting Dracula in charge of a blood bank....
  23. Good one CD.. Impossible to argue with that - But no doubt someone will try to....
  24. :thumb04: :018:
  25. "Devoid of creativity".... I love that phrase even when it doesn't always sum up players' skills very adequately... Yngwie started this topic - I'm sure he could come up with a more appropriate choice of words...
