  1. I'm forever telling my veggie friends that the meat in the pies isn't real meat. It comes from ground down tails, skin, hair, teeth, eyes.. These are all things our little piggy friends can live without....
  2. I would settle for that, but would prefer Sanchez for Odhiambo.
  3. That starts next week. How was the hospitality today?
  4. My wife's not letting me go now 'cos I've been coughing & sniffing all week with a rotten cold. I was so looking forward to sampling the new pies.... :005: This is when you miss the radio commentary when we were in the SPL.
  5. I just love gently pressing my finger on that little hole on the top of the pie, and watching the juices bubble out... Mmmmm...... :005:

9 points from our next 3 games isn't an unrealistic target... Duff has obviously been signed to give the squad a wee bit more depth, and TB should be applauded bringing him here. Hopefully there are more signings in the pipeline.
  7. No.... The game won't be called off until about 2.55pm this afternoon. They have to wait until everyone's arrived and paid their non-refundable admission money. :D
  8. Looks like we're stuck with the fog for the day according to this : Forecast
  9. Good question! I would imagine you would get a full refund.

Wikipedia Johnboy, anyone is free to make alterations to any Wikipedia page at any time (well apart from me and the Ross C*unty page, I got banned from that one) some sad Stuart Duff stalker or the man himself would have altered the page as soon as the news became public. Some sad Stuart Duff stalker? Can't be an awful lot of them.... Surely?

I'm impressed with the way Wikipedia keeps their site up to date. See here : [edit] Aberdeen In January 2008, Levein told Duff he was free to leave Tannadice and find himself a new club, and he was released on 17 January,[9] after playing 170 games for the club, scoring four times. Duff began training with fellow SPL side Aberdeen and a short-term move to his hometown club was confirmed the following day,[1] seeing him become the third player to move from Tannadice to Pittodrie in eighteen months, following Lee Miller[10] and Lee Mair.[11] Within six weeks of arriving, however, Duff was one of several players manager Jimmy Calderwood threatened to release at the end of the season, due to the club's poor performances.[12] In May 2008, Duff instead signed a two-year contract extension with the Pittodrie side.[13] [edit] Inverness Caledonian Thistle In December 2009 he joined Inverness Caledonian Thistle on a month's loan.[14]
  12. Must have been an apparition.... :tonguecheek:
  13. I predict the first half of your pie will be mouthwatering and full of promise. Half way through it will inexplicably go cold and the second half will completely miss your taste buds. Some of it will not even finish in your mouth. The overall feeling will be disappointment, frustration and hunger. Next day several regular correspondents will be on this site demanding we sack the caterer... :tonguecheek: :015: :015:
  14. You only have to read Pele's book to find out the contribution the Doc has made, and continues to make to ICT.... He'll still be here - long after TB and MM have moved on.
  15. I agree with Top Six Next Year.... It will good to head along to TCS on Saturday full of hope, promise and anticipation....
  16. Free samples on Saturday, I hope. Why is Rosscoe not eating one in the pic?
  17. He certainly is an extremely good speaker. Listening to him analysing all the problems Rangers FC are currently suffering was most interesting. On that particular subject he really does know his stuff!
  18. No... A sending off, whether for two yellows or a red, means they are automatically suspended from the next game. (in the same competition)
  19. He'll have to mind his manners if he's going to be sitting amongst the sweety rustlers. Bad language is frowned on in there.... :023:

It's a long way from being the only issue that's dragging the club down!

I think it's worth re-gurgitating this extract from an interview Marius gave to the Highland News a few weeks ago. This is of course, just one side of the story, but it still speaks volumes for me : "The move to Inverness had worked for me as I was scoring goals and my form helped to get back to the Euros, which was a dream. I made a lot of friends in Inverness and the supporters were terrific to me. "I had one year left in my contract and I wasn't interested in talking to another club as I wanted to continue to play for Inverness. There was then the question over whether they could afford my wages and the offers soon arrived and the transfer was worked out for me to come back to Dinamo. "I have everything written in black and white, according to international rules, while Inverness have just come forward with stories. You can't go into any court just with stories, you need proof and I have presented that and FIFA made its decision." As the ICT prepare to appeal to the Court of Sport Arbitration, Niculae was asked whether he's aware how damaging his successful case could be to the now First Division club. He said: "I am not asking for money that does not belong to me. It was in my contract that I was due this amount for being transferred. The club are now in Division One and they probably have less money, but by taking this to the Court of Arbitration they stand to lose even more which is disappointing and I'd rather that didn't happen.

I would imagine that Stevico1 would be the best person to answer that one.

I think you speak for a sizeable chunk of the support with that comment. The anonimity and wall of silence that has surrounded this sorry and costly mess is very hard to bear.
