  1. The one he has with STV?
  2. These games could arguably be described the making or breaking of our season. How many points can we realistically expect to pick up from the following? 28/11/2009 - Partick Thistle - Inverness CT 05/12/2009 - Queen of the South - Inverness CT 12/12/2009 - Inverness CT - Raith Rovers 19/12/2009 - Dunfermline - Inverness CT 26/12/2009 - Inverness CT - Dundee 02/01/2010 - Inverness CT - Ross County

Ian Angus MacNeil from Barra, who repairs the printing machine at West Highland Free Press is selling his 100 year old Massey Ferguson to Whispering Bob Harris and donating the proceeds to ICT. Very good Alex... Pretty obvious really when you think about it! :) :015:

I was happy enough with the team's performance, and a very welcome 3 points. Tokely was completely out of order in venting his spleen on the wee physio girly who's only concern after all was for his injury and his well being. His behaviour was pathetic and childish - I do hope he intends to apologise.
  5. I won't shed any tears if Dundee win the M.Mouse Cup.... Just so long as we take 3 points off them on Boxing Day at TCS. :dancing03:
  6. Our next 6 league games will show us what our management team are made of.

Here's another one for you.... Quote : The biggest problem at ICT is the negative support. Get behind Butcher, get behind the Team. So far, no damage done ............. the League is there for the taking, for any Team who can put together a decent run. I used to think you were TB! :dancing03:

Who are you referring to? I support ICT and give any new player, coach or manager my support and the benefit of the doubt for a sufficient amount of time. The time is up for Butcher and Malpas. Did you enjoy todays game? Remember this comment from last September? Quote : It is a pleasure to have such a high profile manager, his involvement with the media can only help to promote ICT. Well done Terry.

Not so long ago he was one of TB's biggest fans! :dancing03:

He's really lost it now.... I did notice one or two ominous signs not so long ago... :dancing03:
  11. What happend between them two? Rossco was involved in a heavy collision and looked to have done severe damage to his arm/wrist. Physio was trying to get a look at it, but every time she touched it Rossco was pulling away in pain....have to say that there's only so many times I'd let someone grab a suspected break before telling them to do one, so don't think he was out of order at all, and you can be sure that if any apology is necessary then it will have already been given. Even if the person trying to look at the damaged wrist or whatever, is a person trained to deal with these kind of injuries? I do believe she had his best interests at heart, CD. He's gone way, way down in my estimation as a player, and as a person, for an outburst of just about the most childish behaviour I've ever seen.

I agree.... These two (especially Eric) did enough to be on from the start next week.
  13. A welcome 3 points but still not looking like a side capable of winning this league. Did anyone else notice Rossco effing and blinding at the wee physio girl who came on when he took a knock? She looked a bit taken aback to say the least.... I hope he'll apologise to her for his uncalled for outburst.

    Pull your own finger...

Yes.... Anyone who can get get as animated and passionate as TB gets should definitely have their contract extended by at least two years.
  16. Just spoken again to Waterstones who have confirmed Steve will also be signing copies at the stadium (Kingsmills Suite) tonight at 7.30pm.
  17. Best team I've seen in this league so far has been Ross County, closely followed by QoS...
  18. y'see thats the bit I'm confused at. Does the book not come out in december? I ordered a signed copy, so am I able to pick it up anytime after tommorrow? See here : Join Steve Paterson for the launch of this candid and brutally honest memoir, recounting the heady days of footballing success, twinned with the devastating hubris of his addictive personality. It is a heart-rending and insightful account of one of the most fascinating players and managers in the Scottish game. Steve will be signing copies of Confessions of a Highland Hero in the Kingsmill Suite at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium, Inverness from 7.30pm onwards. To reserve a signed copy please contact Waterstone?s on 01463 233 500. I'm hoping so. I phoned the Waterstones number - they took a note of my number and said they'd call me back.. :023:
  19. Thanks to all who responded to my query at 14.... Looking forward to picking up my signed copy tomorrow, although I've been told it's for my Xmas stocking, and not to be read until the 25th Dec!
  20. If not us, I'd be happy to see our hysterical rivals get there. It would be interesting to see what they'd use as a stadium if the unthinkable happened.
  21. I met Frank Gilfeather a few months ago when he was having regular meetings with Pele in connection with this book. Frank has "ghost written" quite a few books from various Scots sporting celebrities, but he told me he was really excited about this one as he found Steve to be one of the most interesting and fascinating characters he has ever met. Reading up on Pele on Wikki, I came across this interesting paragraph : In November 2002, Paterson was strongly linked with the vacant manager's job at Dundee United, but he stayed at Caley Thistle for another month. He was offered the manager's position at Aberdeen and became the clubs manager on 11 December 2002. This move was not without controversy, as Paterson and his assistant Duncan Shearer were each supposed to have agreed a five-year contract with Caley Thistle not long before their departure to the Dons This was just before I came to live in Inverness, and I can't remember hearing of any contractual disputes. Did ICT have Pele and Shearer signed on 5 year contracts or not? Did Aberdeen have to pay Caley much in compensation? Were those at the club who handled Niculae's transfer to Dinamo Bucharest, with ICT in 2002? Hope someone can enlighten me. .
  22. No place for Don Cowie? Not even on the bench....
  23. No particular reason! I hope I'm speaking for everyone on this site in wishing you the best of good luck for tomorrow.
  24. Rig : Shouldn't you be preparing for your job interview tomorrow? :D
  25. Have to agree with that. What's making matters worse for me is that there is another club - not a million miles from here, who appear to have taken over our mantle of a Highland side that is on the way up. They are obviously doing something right.... Unfortunately, the same can't be said for those charged with the responsibility of running ICT.
