  1. Absolute nonsense Dougal. In the 80s and 90s, the Highland League was becoming dominated by the teams from the East and all three Inverness teams were not as strong as they had been. The fortunes of the Inverness teams tended to move in cycles with Caley/Clach and Thistle all having dominant spells although admittedly Caly were more dominant in the latter years. Before the mergers, both teams were dying on thier feet in terms of support and, while the merger certainly galvanised the caley support, it wasn't reflected in a massive surge in attendances. Can we put all this to bed once and for all. I was and remain an ardent Inverness Thistle supporter but ICT are now my team and I support them 100%. If people still choose not to attend gamnes because of the merger then sod them and if they are supporting Ross County as IHE states, then I for one, don't want them in our support. Absolute nonsense Huisdean , Caley won the league 4 times and were runners up on 3 occasions during the 80's . I realise this is no great achievement compared to thistles record from the same era
  2. Please tell me this is one of your wind-ups .
  3. It's the norm on this forum mate , any passing bandwagon and all that .
  4. All due respect Kingsmills, I know of atleast 10 people who were ex-Thistle fans who now follow C*unty, and there's plenty more who I don't know. One of them told me that "the idea of the merger wasn't a problem, it was the fact the new team would play in blue". So instead he went to County who play in NAVY BLUE! TIT!! I also know at least 40 ex jaggies who would never set foot in TCS and a lot more ex Howden Enders who think the same , contrary to what bannerman would have you believe .
  5. I find in life you get treated the way you deserve to be ie. behave like an A-hole expect to be treated like one .
  6. It is quite obvious in various sections of the Forum that many posters on here do not visit the away grounds. Several SPL clubs have only 3 stands open, several clubs (Celtic, Hearts, Hibs, Killie to name just 4 that I can think of just now) have no parking facilities for away fans, and the number of fans at St Johnstone are a disgrace to Perth which has a much higher population than Inverness. St Mirren also have a very poor following. ICT have plenty parking for all fans - the ground is easy to get to, both by car and on foot from bus/train station. What else does Dougal want? Why does this Forum only have "like this" and no "boo" tick box. "Perth which has a much higher population than Inverness " , really ?
  7. LIVE ODDS: Next Stoke City boss: Terry Butcher 4/6 Sir Clive Woodward 3/1 Martin Johnson 9/1 Lawrence Dallaglio 12/1 Warren Gatland 25/1 Jonny Wilkinson 50/1
  8. Surely we wouldn't be daft enough to take him back ?
  9. We're lucky to take 500 fans to Dingwall never mind a European fixture !
  10. What more did Neil Lennon have to do to win this award . He won the league , got to the last 16 of the Champions League , got to the semi final of the League Cup and is in the Scottish Cup final .
  11. Celtic count season tickets wether the seat is filled on the day or not , not difficulkt to understand but the other half of the ugly sisters cant get it .

  13. Division 3 for them surely , same fate as rangers .
  14. Read the rules and stick by my original post , penalty for deliberate handball as his arm was at 90 degrees to his body and in an unnatural position .
  15. So why would I be stirring if I was right ?
  16. So using your rules defnders can run around their penalty area with their hands above their heads at a corner and if the ball hits their hand it's not a penalty as it wasn't deliberate ? Think your the one that needs to read the rules champ .
  17. ^^^ Doesn't know the rules of football. or maybe hes just doing this >>> ? For me it was a penalty as mekings arm was in an unnatural position when the ball made contact with it , making it a penalty IMO . Maybe rig or wee luke can enlighten me as to why I'm wrong . For starters, the position of a players hand doesn't mean it's automatically an infringement. Also it's highly debatable whether Meekings deliberately handled the ball. ^^ Doesn't know the rules of football ^^
  18. ^^Predictable response^^ ^^Predictable response ^^ , care to explain your problem with my post ?
