It's the norm on this forum mate , any passing bandwagon and all that .

All due respect Kingsmills, I know of atleast 10 people who were ex-Thistle fans who now follow C*unty, and there's plenty more who I don't know. One of them told me that "the idea of the merger wasn't a problem, it was the fact the new team would play in blue". So instead he went to County who play in NAVY BLUE! TIT!! I also know at least 40 ex jaggies who would never set foot in TCS and a lot more ex Howden Enders who think the same , contrary to what bannerman would have you believe .

It is quite obvious in various sections of the Forum that many posters on here do not visit the away grounds. Several SPL clubs have only 3 stands open, several clubs (Celtic, Hearts, Hibs, Killie to name just 4 that I can think of just now) have no parking facilities for away fans, and the number of fans at St Johnstone are a disgrace to Perth which has a much higher population than Inverness. St Mirren also have a very poor following. ICT have plenty parking for all fans - the ground is easy to get to, both by car and on foot from bus/train station. What else does Dougal want? Why does this Forum only have "like this" and no "boo" tick box. "Perth which has a much higher population than Inverness " , really ?

So using your rules defnders can run around their penalty area with their hands above their heads at a corner and if the ball hits their hand it's not a penalty as it wasn't deliberate ? Think your the one that needs to read the rules champ .

For starters, the position of a players hand doesn't mean it's automatically an infringement. Also it's highly debatable whether Meekings deliberately handled the ball. ^^ Doesn't know the rules of football ^^

The Meekings one looked a stonewall penalty to me , the Shinnie one is inconclusive and the ref and linesman were both in perfect positions to make the call .

It's phrases of that ilk which the police want fans to avoid as they might be construed by those not familiar with the local banter/rivalry as "hate related". Not an unreasonable request (in my personal opinion). As gordie says...the discussions with the police were primarily to seek clarification on what exactly the issue was surrounding certain songs/chants. Hopefully we've done that and can answer any further questions which might arise....as well as having a working relationship with the police that allows us to deal with such things more efficiently and pro-actively in future. The law on "pyrotechnics" is clear and there should be no uncertainty in the fact that they are a banned item. Our discussions on this were fairly brief....police asked us to remind fans of the law and we agreed. So did the police say they would arrest anyone for using the phrase " gypsy ba$tard " ?
