  1. Very much doubt they'd present the trophy before a game .
  2. When did Grassa and Gordon Smith play against each other ?
  3. Tony Mowbray by a country mile .
  4. Good read and quite encouraging re summer transfers . http://www.herald.ie/sport/soccer/irish-tr...om-2145817.html
  5. Well done lad , you put your money where you always said there was a great chance of a return :P
  6. :P :thumb02: Nice one Alex .
  7. We'd be 6 points clear with a superior goal difference of 9 .
  8. Dont tell Scotty .
  9. Great goal by Wilsy up at Jags park and a great atmosphere at Grant Street on the Wednesday . Happy days :023:
  10. Is he on a revbirdog-stylee wind up? anyone else heard anything It's ok Inverness Caley went out of business in 1994 so they can dock them as many points as they want.... Inverness Caley ? I think you mean Caledonian F.C.
  11. Are you not allowed to drink on trains anymore ?
  12. Why would they be dry ?
  13. Source ?
  14. Its hardly guff when Mark McGhee has been at a few ICT games and has admitted he was there to watch Foran , Hayes and Rooney .
  15. I think we should be looking at a winter break again, starting the league earlier and finishing later so we can get the best out of the weather.
  16. The major problem with Smith is he's more concerned with trying to improve football as a game than sort out the problems internally. We need someone who's one and only concern is the good of scottish football and technological improvements aren't going to improve the standard on the park (unless we start using football playing cyborgs)... the Summer season league was a non starter because we would be screwed if we ever make it to a International competition How do the Swedes get round it? And the Russians ?
  17. The questions Rooney, Foran, Hayes, etc need to ask themselves is, if they wish to get the Holy Grail (a.k.a the English premier League) is Aberdeen the right springboard club...no Hearts - Craig Gordon Hibs - Steven Fletcher Hamilton - James Mcarthy Rangers - Alan Hutton Motherwell - James McFadden I'd safely say modern Aberdeen are a players graveyard - any player lucky enough to shine amongst the dirge has been few and far between, home grown, and not excelled elsewhere anyway. Besides, they're broke and no chance of UEFA or Champions League. Best thing for the trio is to shine agin in the SPL ad earn a bigger, better, more lucrative move in season 2011/12 or 12/13 should they so wish...i don't think ICT holds any player back and is an excellent club to stand out in with players going to Celtic, Hibs, Watford...Aberdeen is a diddy team now. Conclusion: One more season at least please!!! Russel Anderson , Scott Severin , Barry Nicholson and Lee Miller have all moved onto bigger and better things since leaving Aberdeen . Russel Anderson - Derby Scott Severin - Kilmarnock :) Barry Nicholson - Preston Lee Miller - M'boro Middling Championship sides (and a gash SPL team...). Rooney, Foran, Hayes will be at that stage next season anyway. What they should aim at is regular football with a team in european comps in the SPL in a season or two. Anderson signed for a Premiership side ( Sunderland ) and Severin signed for Watford when they left Aberdeen .
  18. Good article that DC, I should have known I was wrong since I have known about budder for the past 4 or 5 years. I almost ordered some from budmail.com when it was still on the go but a mate of mine got the dreaded customs letter and we decided to lie low for a while, budmail went out of business in between. Apologies for my miscalling. No problem pal , I've tried budder from budmail a few times and its mental :) ps Budmail are still on the go just a little more security conscious .There's still a few reliable MOMs about ;)
  19. His campaign to stamp out diving was farcical , his silence on the diving antics of the O.F. players was deafening . Glad he's gone .

  21. This rumour has been on the go for weeks and wont go away , I think at least 1 of our prized assets will end up at Pittodrie next season .
  22. Linky Okay I was out by about 10% but this quote should explain why it was so strong, the soapbar smoked by many nowadays is nowhere near that figure because when it is smuggled in from Morocco, Afghanistan etc it is broken down with solvents adulterants added and repressed. Hash that you bought in the 60s may already have had that process done to it but in the main, and because it was nowhere near as popular as nowadays, there was no real call for tampering with it. Revbirdog heres a link I've meant to post for you Link remover by moderator
  23. So you're conveniently ignoring, for instance, the 1988 Qualifying Cup replay at Telford Street. Caley 0 Jags 3. :) :) Any more instances you'd like to remind us of ?
  24. How many are we taking ?
  25. Good news if true , we always follow the Yanks so hopefully we'll do the same here .
