ICT -V- Aberdeen : Matchday Thread
First chance for a long time to hear a game (curious the online radio worked today) ...great effort and according to reports I've just heard we are in the SPL next year. Outstanding, job done, well done... great team, great management, great fans.

ICT -V- Hearts : matchday thread
I agree Smee...spot on! The season dawn was false...but now we've acquired 33 points - which is about as good an average we've had pre-split in the SPL - the guns ain't looking too bad at all.

Brewster's team selections
...or Charlie Christie. We're on the edge of the top 6, ahead of so-called better sides, better points per game than any previous SPL season* and about due to give an unsuspecting opponent a right good gubbing...thank god it's Brewster! *+/- 10 points

Media Coverage of ICT
lets just say that reporters or publications that have previously asked "uncomfortable" questions, or printed less than flattering articles have found themselves somewhat frozen out (for at least a little while) on game days or at press conferences. Inverness may be a city in some respects, but in others it is still a very small town !!! To be fair, a certain knighted gaffer from one of the world's top 2 earning teams from a large English city has been known to freeze out the world's so-called most 'respected' broadcasting corporation from time to time...so it's perhaps hardly a small town method of kneeing the media in the proverbials.

Falkirk -V- ICT : matchday thread
I thought you'd title this one "How Do You Solve The Problem of Marius?" :023: Without going over all the old arguments about his position, pace, class, control...you are right to mention those around him. There seems a good spirit about and you can see the players talking about where they want the ball played, but, something's starting to niggle in my head that the learning phase should be over by now.

Anyone Going to Falkirk then??
Compelling as ever Scotty. Presumably the 'powers' at Longman Towers regard the overseas contingent to be an irrelevance. (Better watch we don't become a nuisance!)

Hearts -V- ICT : Matchday thread
By the way, I'm no regular by any means but what a great atmosphere in the away stand yesterday. We were shoe-horned into those bloody awful Tynie seats but it didn't stop a remarkable number of away fans bossing the home support. First half it was like we were the home team...on and off the pitch! :clapping03:

Our next four games....
:tic01: Beware the four horsemen of a manager's demise: Player Unrest: Rumours abound of dressing room disquiet. Player Revolt: Chairman intervenes to quell a schism. Relegation Flirtation: Setanta cash flies out of window. Vote of Confidence: 'Nuff said. Perhaps Brew's efforts to get the lads off the Pringles and lager n limes may have unsettled a few of them but he's got a TEAM out there that are capable of taking 8 points nae probs.

What a game to come home for...had every bloody thing! Pure entertainment. Superb. Well done Brew and the squad! (Oh, and Mikey Fraser was outstanding....Mark who?)

ICT V Celtic : Matchday Thread
Noticed the message boards are full of 'tics comparing Brewster as an 'inspired tactician' to the inept future Scotland manager that is WGS. What next, Brewster for Scotland headlines? Well done ICT. You made an Irish bar in Shanghai very very quiet (save for one voice!). :clapping03: Truly inspired and as Gordy says - a reminder of days when a deficit at half time only made it more interesting. The Scotsman photo seems to show the 'singing section' empty - what gives with this?

CONGRATULATIONS..............
:crazy07: Great news...congrats both!

England Job
From Sky's site: Here is one joke doing the rounds: "Barwick sees an old woman in the street carrying lots of bags. He walks up to her and asks, 'Can you manage?' "And she replies, 'I don't want the job!'" :029:

RadioWatch ....
Apt words Scotty. Now the clocks have changed I turn off at half-time, 11.45pm local time. Unless it's the rare occasion ICT are the default main commentary. I suppose it's supply and demand. The Old Firm are global brands and can market their 'product' in every corner of the globe. One of the most popular sitcoms in China has 3 kids as main characters. Typically they are always dressed in NBA gear (basketball is big here). I was gobsmacked the other day when one of them appeared in full Celtic gear with Carling emblazoned on the front. Whatever anyone thinks of the club, it's a memorable strip and 500 million households just got an eyefull. I suppose if ICT signed a Chinese player... :024: OK, I'm off on a scouting mission :sillywave:
