Munro thought so as well and was strolling towards the box and Caff was left jogging towards the box, only for Kean to reach the ball and cross for the striker to score. Hastings the big culprit for me. Tokely for the first, mis-judged the long ball over his head.

It took a big man to take on the job and an even bigger man to walk away from it. Charlie you have not let anyone down and once you have time to reflect on this, you can feel as proud as the real fans are of your achievements. I wish you well in whatever route you take.

It's ok I am better now, I managed to log in from the main page eventually. I did try logging in and out, I have been on here for thirty days lost in cyberspace trying to log my MoM votes. I don't know was it because I logged in and out or because big D fixed it but I was the first to vote which makes me think others are having difficulty trying to vote as well. The link on the match report link on the forum page is perfect thak you, you are doing a wonderful job and the reason I did not look on the matchday thread was after I read the first few posts, I only then enter the thread from latest posts onwards thus not noticing the click here at the start of the thread. Other than that, none of the links worked for me, when I opened the ICT v St Mirren link/drop down on the MAIN PAGE it said no polls exist, or something similar, maybe before I logged off and logged on again. However, for the polls to be successful, they should be easily accessible and today I could not find it easily :blah01:

OK I give in, where the **** is the player of the year poll, and why is there no link from the forum page to the poll, and if there is I can not see it. Can we not have a link from the forum page because that is where most people I would imagine would try and go to the poll from, but like the prediction league, you have to go to the main page to find the links. I agree davieB, I thought he did the thankless chasing lost causes job today. He does look good and likes a challenge, is strong in the air and not shot shy, but that was a drawback today, too eager to please and could have done better on a couple of chances but elected to shoot first time when a good first touch may have been better. He can't be far of the fitness mark and he even collected the ball from behind the goals a couple of times in his eagerness to get on with it. themann4thejob says :021:

We really should have taken something from this game. For all our huffing and puffing it was St Mirren who had two clear chances to kill the game. One header in the second half downward and bounced high and wide when a goal seemed easier and at the death when they rounded the keeper and stroked the ball wide, a bad miss for them. We on the other hand could not muster any real clean chances on target despite dominating most of the proceedings. Bayne hit a ferocious shot in the first half which would have screamed into the net had it been a yard either side, unfortunately it was straight at the keeper from the edge of the box. If I have any complaint it seemed he is over eager to please and shot fist time on a couple of occasions when he could maybe have taken a touch or two, however he can put himself about and worked the Bayne shift pretty well, the goals will come. Bayne, yes unfortunately it was my comment, he looks a shadow of the player we saw before. Maybe the competition is getting to him. I thought this game was tailor made for Zander, soaking wet pitch, skin them on the wings, alas he never got on. Our Canadian International better buck up or we will be in trouble, he has gone from hero to zero in a few months and was guilty of causing our defence a few problems. Overall, we should not have lost this game with the amount of ball we had, we played pretty good for long spells, but the killer touch is still lacking. Both their goals were poor defensively, even the shot for the first looked saveable, the second happened at the opposite end but we looked far from convincing when the cross came in. We will play worse and win but we need to sort it out quickly because the games are not getting any easier over the next few weeks. This week has come and gone and we are still pointless, therefore next weeks home game is getting to the stage of a must win scenario for the two games after that are tough away days.

Wood scored twice and was fouled for a penalty as Montrose thrashed Stirling Albion 5-1 in the Challenge cup last night. from BBC sport site John Baird's hat-trick helped Montrose earn a place in the second round of the Challenge Cup with a sensational win over First Division Stirling Albion. Baird fired the Division Three outfit in front from the penalty spot after Garry Wood was fouled by Laurie Ellis. Baird added the second with a dipping drive from 30 yards and set up Wood to slot home from 10 yards. Ross Harris replied in off the post, but Wood bulleted home a header from a Baird cross before the roles reversed. Powerful boy Woods, good to see him keeping his hand in.
