  1. ok then, how about economic with the truth...........or how did he tell the truth. He even gave a politicians answer at the supporters end of season do, when asked by a young lad if he was staying, after a short pause, he said, something along these lines, "I always said I would decide at the end of the season, and thet is when I will make my decision" (we still had one game to play), my belief is he already new. Did he ever intend to stay at ICT after his contract expired?.........I don't believe he did. He got what he wanted, we got what we wanted and true to form, whooosh, he's off. He won't be the last player to use us for his own gain, get in the shop window and leave in a hurry when the time suits them, no loyalty whatsoever these days. I was happy with his contribution, although the last few games he was going through the motions His future is not important to me, the future of ICT is much more relevant, he has strung us along too far. It's his choice at the end of the day, we now have a month less time to find a replacement. :sillywave:
  2. They are out now, woohoo two minutes early
  3. I think fans and the club wanted honesty. I get the impression he had no intention of re-signing for ICT, I am too good to continue playing for a wee country bumpkin team like ICT, so I will see out my contract then GTF.........well thats what my ears perceived. He could have let ICT know sooner and gone before now. Like others have said before, some players left with dignity, Dargo is going and I have a bitter taste in my mouth, unlike Dods who is leaving as a cult hero.
  4. Well, I am disappointed in the whole episode. Like he didn't know what to do, what a dilemna, Central belt or the Highlands of Scotland, so remote people can only get here after a horrendous journey from the hub, a place only hunchbacks and lepers live, where tumbleweed blows around all week and the Hillbillies come out to play at the weekend, more eerie than watching deliverance. The comparisons are so remote it is unthinkable that anyone would play up here for more than a few games. Well Mr Dargo, your ego has outgrown you, thanks for the goals and goodbye, ICT are bigger than any player, we will move on, can you. :sillywave: :sillywave: :sillywave:
  5. he won't go wrong with George Thorogood & the Destroyers superb hard drivin blues, don't miss it........ Check out his bit on the Live Aid Video/DVD..........with Albert Collins, absolutely brilliant............rockness, GIRUY

  8. Well, if his loan spell is anything to judge him by, he will not make the grade at ict, he was anonymous in the two games I saw him at Dingwall, in fact he was subbed in both. Defrinitely needs to up his work rate and only then will we get to see more of his left foot.
  9. Kylie Minogue what........

  15. I am reliably informed, (by teletext) that the ICT pre-season has been arranged for Italy from the 8th July to the 15th July at Montecattini, where the club went last year. This year Grazza is saying they hope to meet serie A or B opposition as opposed to the two low level games played last year. Bit of a bummer as Elton John concert is on the 15th July. Any takers.......................for Italy I mean? (must be my keyboard going faulty)
  16. My bad They wre prtty inept lst nite, unable to bt an avrage Scotland team. We did lk mre in control than them, until the lst 5mins As for the fairies, we should be lookin to pump them good an proper.
  17. Garry O'Conner, low shot from ten yards drilled through defender and under keepers despairing dive, from a Boyd lay off. 0-1, half hour to go. Friendly stuff, 0-1 for Scotland, Austria hitting the bar in the last minute almost snatching an unlikely draw. Austria are a very poor team, but a win is a win :021:
  18. Uninspiring stuff, devoid of any invention, deserving the half time score of 0-0.
  19. Well Val Doonican managed to sit down and sing, and he wore big sweaters at the same time. I can just picture him singing along to Paddy McGinty’s Goat or Delaneys donkey in the North Stand while clad in his hand knitted sweaters and sat in his seat.singalongaDoonican
  20. Mucho respecto Golly Always remembered for the goal that started the ball rolling at Pitoddrie, and those last ditch tackles that saved many a goal through the divisions, never shirking one of them. Great servant to this club and hope you have some good times at Dingwall :clapping03:
  21. I'll give it a go, Sky Sports 1 from 7:00pm.

  23. Rankins goal certainly the most spectacular, just edging Duncans strike against United, similar goals and both matchwinners. For me the 'total' football which ended with Bayne scoring against Celtic was one of the best sweeping moves we had all season, starting with Tokely at right back on the edge of our own penalty box, switching swiftly to Bazza on the opposite edge of their box, smart cross and first time finish, great goal, so for me that was the best goal we scored this season that I witnessed. Good goals by Granty and Dodsy against Celtic as well In fact, they were all great :021:
  24. Indeed
