Have you read the lease? Are you certain the Council did not apply strict conditions? Apologies if you have checked this.

Achfary - it is true that THC has a funding problem but how do you think a private company can get around the long established principles behind Scotland's Common Good rules? Common Good Funds are not there to bail Councils out of financial black holes. 'The Highland Council, as trustees of the Inverness Common Good Fund and landlords, need to approve the lease transfer but Mr Rae said he was confident that this would not be a sticking point, given Tulloch’s support for the transfer.' 'Millions of pounds in rent payments collected from businesses on Common Good Land (the historic burghs of Scotland) make up the Common Good Funds which are used for projects that benefit communities.' Any lease transfer that did not benefit the football club would surely not be approved? Makwana will not be familiar with the law of Scotland and any contact he has had with THC will have been with officials who would have no doubt highlighted the requirement of any lease transfer to benefit communities.

This is on Common Good Land. When the Council approved the 99 year lease it was controversial in terms of the definition of Common Good. The Council will only approve any future development that benefits the Common Good. Any development that did not benefit the football club would end up at the full Council.

Considering Morrison is not a Director or employee you have to question why the Board allowed him to facilitate the direction of the football club - this is from Makwana'a Linkedin page 'My heartfelt gratitude to Scot Gardiner, Ross Morrison and the team at Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club'

Trust and Board Sceptics- Investment
Common Good Land and Assets is for the benefit of the citizens, not corporate profit. Gordy Fyffe will be fully aware of that.- Investment
Video is consistent with my thoughts. Luckily there is currently no legal agreement with this person. So far the only journalist to find out information that is not on a Club statement is Norman Silvester who is an investigative journalist of note. On the face of it he may have been fed information about American investors to take him off the true plan. All other journalists have either chickened out or been unable to speak to Scot Gardiner or Board Members.- Dundee @ the Hedge
What position does he play?- Investment
Also on Linkedin (before he edits it again) 'Within days I was speaking to Scot Gardiner and within weeks I was presenting my vision for Entertainment, Leisure & Sports.'- Investment
The Council has previously explored developing the tip.- Investment
On the 10th May 2024 in their latest confirmation statement to Companies House Seventy7Ventures advised 'The company confirms that its intended future activities are lawful.' On the face of it Ketan was tipped off about an opportunity in Inverness on about 1 June 2024 by Paul Nelson (i.e. 8 weeks ago). Morrison had just resigned, Kelty remained the controversial solution. Nothing illegal about that but did the Board authorise contact with him via a third party? Was it Gardiner or Morrison? Who in the club knew Paul Nelson? https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7218887206441005057/ Nice picture of a Highland Cow. Will be interesting to see how long it will take for the legal completion of the deal when the club seems to need liquid funds.- Investment
https://ictfc.com/significant-milestone-for-ictfc-as-tulloch-agrees-transfer-of-stadium-lease/ THC as Common Good Trustees and Landlords would decide (unless there is a diligent legal person helping the Club).- Investment
Scotty, I was joking. The press release about his influences and achievements probably impressed Gordy. The online video would result in 'moonshine' being shouted by many. One has to hope ICT employed some really independent professional people to analyse the offer. The key in the club's statement is ' the financial backing of Seventy7 Ventures'. We have to accept that the Board have that evidence.- Investment
https://seventy7.ventures/our-story Maybe this does though!!!- Investment
https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/13599988 Looks like they speak a good case. In terms of due diligence, somebody at the Club must have seen evidence of their capital that is not evident within their small company accounts for what is basically a one man band.- Arbroath - League Cup
Agree with Robert. MacLeod looking very promising as indeed were all the Fergie Fledglings. Bray certainly stood out in the second half. Hope we get positive news on Walker today. Notice Roddy scored two more last night - guess we have to bury the past. We will not forget nor forgive. Dundee is basically a training exercise with the focus on Dumbarton. That is now two home games where the players have had great support. Let's hope we get news soon on what is happening behind the scenes.- Investment
Highland club in takeover by Wild Sheep Sports has a better ring about it!! Where are Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein when you need penetrating questions and effective journalists?- Our squad next season
If only the club did something positive to temp fans to put money into the club!!! For instance, ask Scot Gardiner to announce his final day of employment but at least confirm rumours about him staying are false. In the light of the IT meltdown extend the date for discounted season ticket sales by two weeks. Innovate by saying season tickets will be discounted after each home game to reflect remaining fixtures.- Rose: League Cup @ home
Positive performance based on some very good young players and some very calm experienced players. However, if players like Danny get injured we will struggle to say the least. However, no real complaints about today with DF using a new word and quite frequently - forward, forward. Given the fact Highland Council is currently rated the worst in Scotland for certain services, we can but hope that the planning appeal is successful. Part of the appeal states 'It should be noted that the Committee Report erroneously stated that the proposal comprised 54 storage units. The appellant seeks to ensure the Reporter is fully aware that the proposal comprises 13 only storage units.' On the assumption also that 'new owners' may be in waiting, there is the possibility of a little bit of optimism.- Season Tickets + Resignation Confirmation
That is why I said 'Player treatment.' One of the reasons supporters have negative support for DF is his apparent lack of remorse for the treatment of all players out of contract. Was he responsible for advising them that their contracts would not be renewed?- Season Tickets + Resignation Confirmation
It would also be useful if journalists did not chicken out from putting key questions to DF in press conferences. For instance, in the latest he said he did not know why there was a problem with fans coming through the gate to support the players. Surely the journalists could have explained the reason to help DF understand the problem? If the conference is then stopped because the questions about player treatment, for instance, are too uncomfortable for DF to answer, then the press would have a new story. DF can bat away questions about SG but surely it is legitimate for what seems to be our highest paid manager in 30 years to be given some tough questions with regard to his role?- Investment
https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/administration-threatened-inverness-caley-thistle-33236611- Battery Project - Chairman's Statement
You are very optimistic. Smoke and mirrors so that recently we could see that David Cameron was no longer a Director of the football club. However, despite that he is one of the influential directors on the Battery Co. This seems to be because he either owns the land or once did where the proposed development could take place. By definition there is likely to be a Joint Venture agreement between Intelligent Land Investments, the football club, Cameron and Morrison, et al creditors but that document will be highly confidential.- Season Tickets + Resignation Confirmation
That will no doubt be dressed up as a cost saving. - Investment
