  1. No boycott - just get behind the club and team. We need to get winning games or we will drop out of the top four. This has been a major distraction.
  2. Robbo has hinted that Aitken did say as much. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/john-robertson-makes-james-keatings-21550325
  3. It will be interesting to see what line the club takes after legal advice from a key sponsor. James has in effect been called a simulator by the referee and endorsed by the SFA (I await seeing the definition of simulation used by the Tribunal for judgement). So potentially there is a right to a legal remedy given no further right of appeal within the SFA 'rules' which are of course, not statute. Imagine the referee putting his case to a judge 'From where I stood in the gales and pouring rain, James dived into the penalty box without any contact from an opposing player which the SFA define as simulation and for which they require me to issue a yellow card. ' Judge 'Can I see the definition please?' SFA we use the word 8 times in our disciplinary protocol. We do not have a definition because everyone knows what it means. Imagine the counter case - Rangers player cited as a witness 'I attempted to obstruct James but in so doing in effect body checked him.' James then shows the judge the videos. Who in their right mind would accept the argument of the SFA ? Technically James might have a case for damages to his reputation. So far no one has brought such a case to my knowledge, but then none of us had heard of Jean Marc Bosman until his amazing legal breakthrough. I will leave that to the legal advisers.
  4. Raith supporters will almost certainly support us if justice is not delivered by the Cup Final. Also 'SFA are Weak Teacakes' which might not be positive for Tunnocks.
  5. Indicating 'Did not go to Specsavers'
  6. As a referee, he may find that in the next few games, supporters on both sides, mock him. The SFA have hung him out to dry which is understandable given the weather conditions on Sunday.
  7. Seek a Crowd fund for an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. How can a body check on a player be defined as a dive? SFA would say you have no right of appeal even if SFA ignored clear evidence. We need to see what the club say on the matter regarding an appeal to a higher court of appeal. Specsavers could suffer reputational damage if their sponsored referees actually see bodychecks as dives. If fact, Specsaver adverts are very funny and they might like to use the incident for their next advert to prevent reputational damage to themselves.
  8. We do not want the game on Friday the 10th April to end too late if we are playing the next day at Hampden on the 11th against Celtic!!!
  9. The most dignified result here would be for Aitken to apologise after seeing the foul on Keatings which resulted in a second yellow and to say that in the rain and wind there may have been an error on the disallowed goal but in real time he felt the decision was fair. As for the football played by Rangers, that was potentially a very good work out for Dundee United. Regardless of bias towards the club, the Colts played to a very high standard in quite appalling conditions and as Robbo said, were unlucky not to get to the final.
  10. 28th of March - https://spfl.co.uk/league/challenge-cup/fixtures St Johnstone do not have a game that weekend I presume because Scotland play Israel on the 26th March. so mid way between Kirkaldy and Inverness is Perth, well at least in Stadium terms.
  11. ....and you get a Tunnock's wafer for attending..........
  12. Coll looked in some discomfort from the ALBA recording - 84th minute.
  13. Coll Donaldson may have fractured his cheek. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/51517038 Not sure how but this text is funny 31'Jamie McCart (St. Johnstone) wins a free kick in the defensive half.31'Foul by Coll Donaldson (Ross County).
  14. RIG's logic is very good. As a reminder, last year the games were on Saturday, Sunday (2) (we had the 3.30 slot) and Monday. Premier Sports may well take Hearts v Rangers on Saturday. It would make sense for St Johnstone v Celtic to be on Sunday at 12.30 and for our game again at 3.30 Sunday. With the other Semi Final at Motherwell or St Mirren so the organisers would hope Kilmarnock get through for which for them would be a local derby at either. If Aberdeen got through, they would be livid at a Monday night slot. If we get say a 7.45 evening kick off the organisers will assume 14,000 Hibees and 500 at most ICT supporters. I can now therefore see Friday night as an option but as CaleyD says 'TV companies will dictate'. Waiting until Thursday morning next week to confirm the arrangements would be pretty late. Last year we had details on the 14th February 2019 and our game was on the 3rd March. Must be a good chance of an announcement later today. We are not TV companies but just fans so do not be surprised if we get a poor slot.
  15. Coll needs a hug after being involved in Hibs three goals last night. Hibs looked very dangerous but the good news is that Coll will not be in our defence when we play them.
  16. Hibs really fancy their chances ' Hibs assistant head coach John Potter has urged the Easter Road squad to forget dreaming of Scottish Cup glory and concentrate on cementing their place in the Premiership’s top six. A favourable quarter-final draw pitching Hibs at home against Inverness Caledonian Thistle, the lowest ranked club remaining in the competition, has given them an outstanding chance of progressing into the last four.'
  17. Sunshine on Leith - Jack Ross, is he the man to lift Hibs second Scottish Cup triumph? They will be far more dangerous than Livy so a gargantuan performance will be required to even get a draw. Hibs fans must really fancy their chances with this draw.
  18. Let no one underestimate how well the team played and how determined they were as a group to progress. What chance we draw Rangers at home, lose to their Colts next Sunday and create another bit of history against their first team? Certainly a home draw at about 16.00 hours today will at least give us a better chance of making the Semi's again although Celtic at home would not be my first choice. I would like Ross County.....hang on a fricking minute...........
  19. Weather not looking too good....https://www.meteoblue.com/en/weather/week/inverness_united-kingdom_2646088?day=2 Should level it up a bit given Livvy's preference for artificial surfaces.
  20. The BBC has a very good article on the second coming of Livingston. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51368590 After the Alloa cup victory there was a sense of 'winnable' after the next round draw. We have a very good cup record especially under Robbo, but after Livy savour their trip tomorrow to Dingwall, we certainly do have an almighty cup tie this Saturday when they make their second journey up the A9 in a few days. Livy start as massive favourites.
  21. Good news financially. Positive thinking helped us beat Celtic 20 years ago.............
  22. Harper is a very good player. We should be pleased he is back. We can but hope there is a real coming together of the group of players we have. Financially we need to accept the position and maximise the options we have.
  23. I wonder how long it would take to get Bobby Mann fit again?
  24. It would be unusual having three out of four left footed players in the back four.
