Transfer in and outs
Fair play. All a bit disheartening, though, where Robbo has to ship players out before anyone can come in. Suggests he's not happy with a few, so we either persevere with a squad he doesn't like, or gamble on replacements coming in and gelling straight away.

Transfer in and outs
Have to say that I'm disappointed by Caley's approach here in trying bully-boy tactics, hoping to shame Buckie into "selling". Buckie agreeing not to stand in Kevin Fraser's way is not the same as saying they'll let him go for free. Why should they? What would be the point in having a contract? We'd be the first to moan if Aberdeen came knocking (again) for a player with a sense of entitlement because they're the bigger team in the bigger league. And just before the season kicks off, too. Robbo is quoted as saying "if there was a deal to be done we were happy to sit and talk to them about it". How would that have gone? "Give us your player. We'll give you nothing for him." That seems to be the only deal to be done. Seems to be a few things lately where Caley lack class.

Ryan Christie
Yes of course I'm serious. All that is required is a bit of humility and some expression of appreciation for what Caley helped him become. The subtext of his comments is "Wow, I'm just so glad to get away from Inverness". That is not far removed from simply bad-mouthing the place. If we are to be pedantic, then at the point he was over the moon and just desperate to get it finished he was still a Caley player.

Ryan Christie
My goodness - a "dream come true"; "buzzing"; "incredible feeling"; "over the moon and just desperate to get it finished". Could Christie have been any more disrespectful to Caley? No wonder we struggle for fans. Why support a club that its own players don't.

Summer transfer targets
"Rob Maclean's Scottish Premiership unsung heroes" Can't believe this is still the last "Caley" story on the Beeb!! All quiet on the Longman front...

Emergency Board Meeting?
If Kenny Cameron is capable of coming out with a poorly timed and constructed press statement which makes the club look an unprincipled joke then no, he is not good for the club. If he has not played the fans for fools by pretending to be onside with them but hoping that others do what he actually fervently wanted to do but could not be seen to do, then he needs to explain himself urgently.

Dear Mr Cameron,
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Why did Kenny Cameron feel he had to make a statement today? But I'm glad he did because now we can see what a hypocrite he is. So he cites sporting integrity as reason for not allowing Sevco into the SPL, but then seems appalled that the SFL should not play to his tune and discard their own principles of sporting integrity in allowing Sevco to waltz into the First Division. Kenny Cameron has brought shame on this club. From the moral high ground to the very depths. Absolutely disgusted. Yes, Alex, shopping is better than chucking money at this rubbish.

Matchnight Thread: Aberdeen -V- ICT
Good three points where one would probably have been fair. Esson played a blinder! Thoughts on Foran out left? I would have liked to see Nick Ross out there, especially when Ifil came on.

ICT City Centre Shop
I'm not all that familiar with where viable sites are in Inverness now, but would it not be possible for the club to take a concession stall in the Eastgate, for example? These type of things always pop up selling handbags, sweets and calendars. How about one weekend in the run-up to Christmas at least? Or how about persuading a couple of enterprising souvenir shops to stock some merchandise? A football top can be a classic souvenir, and Inverness gets its fair share of tourists?!

Aberdeen roll call
Heck aye! A home game for yet another two. Looking forward to seeing Jonny Hayes working his magic right in front of us...

Top Five Results 09/10
How about Dundee 1 QoS 1? One of the great messiah's first games in charge, yet another abject display from Dundee for all to see on BBC Alba. Another two points dropped, and they only got the one courtesy of a penalty, and playing 10 men for most of the game. It was a sure sign that the wheels were well and truly off the Dundee challenge and that even a new management team couldn't deliver a "bounce". All we needed to do was kick on...

Relevant songs for final home games
I thought "F*** you, Dundee, you'll never win the league" had a certain something about it at Dens. How about bringing it bang up to date with a "F*** you, Dundee, you never won the league"? (Fingers crossed, of course!)

Dundee -V- ICT : cup final thread
I see that TB said that when it got to 2-2 it was always going to be "next goal the winner". Clearly he wasn't fussed about the Cup, since Caley never looked like scoring in the second half, and he did nothing to change it - oh, until 89mins and 20 secs were on the clock. Odhiambo and Imrie should have been on with 20 mins to go. Imrie was simply frustrated - both subs would have been lucky even to have got a touch, let alone help save the game. This was the last game of the season all over again - TB hasn't a clue. Sanchez hooked? Beggars belief.

Division 1 Positives
The change of scene! We get to freshen things up with trips to Dens, Palmerston and Kirkcaldy. No more of the same old same old..!
-
Odhiambo
Absolutely - he made a real difference. What a shame that Butcher saw fit to read him a bedtime story before putting him on.
-
Ross Tokely
Totally with Johnboy on this one. Butcher completely fecked things up. Pavels should have been in centre, and with more pace than Rossco, would not have been caught. The second half was a complete shambles. It was clear that Caley were sitting deeper and deeper, and it was only going to be a matter of time before a goal went in. But he never got the team to push out to relieve some of the pressure! Odhiambo at least got a run - and he played really well. The only problem was Butcher's ten minute lecture to him before putting him on. What a waste of time! The best thing is that Calderwood's gone, so the Dons will get McGee. Well to take Butcher back, hopefully. Mon Robbo!!

Falkirk Roll Call
I'll be coming through from the Deen for it. Either a cracking drive home or a very long one - the latter doesn't bear thinking of! The last trip home from a Falkirk game was bad enough...

Butcher is Boss
Looking like a very good bit of business for him Job until the end of the season, and gets to stay with Scotland and Setanta. In short, with that safety net, he couldn?t really care less if Caley go down. But if they stay up, he takes the plaudits and walks away to a bigger job elsewhere.

Time for Action (Merged)
Would Jock wish everyone to continue to accept this dross that would ultimately result in sending us down, thereby undoing the great work he did in helping us get to the top?! As a supporter of the club, Jock's answer would surely be no! Of course we must show him the great respect he deserves. But after the silence or the applause (whichever) it's game on.

Barry Wilson (Merged)
Aye, I saw that, had a wee shake of the head, and thought "Just what is he thinking?!" Surely this shows just how clueless he is, with no plan at all. This isn't "management".
