  1. I thought our right back at Buckie was one of our best players I was told it was Jack Sutherland (I didn't think it was though, he seemed too tall) Anyway whoever it was had a decent game.

    Buckie game

We were quite poor this evening but lets have a bit of realism here we were a team made up mostly of U19 players up against a big spending, very good, experienced and hard fighting (stupid phrase but lets say the Buckie players weren't playing a 'friendly' match...they kicked us off the park at times) Buckie team who have won the Highland League two years on the bounce. As soon as I saw our line up I feared we may be in for a hiding but you have to praise the lads in battling back to get the draw and ensure we finished pre-season undefeated. Our players showed their inexperience against what is basically a Highland League select team the way Buckie have been spending in recent years. Shane was getting battered about by Buckie's centre halves (one of which being ex-ICT man Lewis MacKinnon) I thought Tade was good, nice to see a bit of pace and strength in our side. He had one absolutely beautiful turn (Shame about the finish...infact since it was a game for Daniel Strong, we'll put that down as a good save by his dad) It was also good to see him beating people and cutting the ball back just a shame no one was ever there tonight except when Shane blazed over but we all know his right foot doesn't function properly haha. Shinnie made a big difference when he came on and took his penalty well after being brought down in the box. The best of our youngsters was probably Jack Sutherland who at the moment is probably the only man associated with ICT hoping we don't buy another RB. Craig McMillan started for the Buckie Jags and Zander came off the bench in the second half (that shows the strength of the Buckie squad). Other ex-ICT men on show were Lewis MacKinnon, who I already mentioned, and Graham Stewart.
  3. how on earth did i get that so wrong? i'm an idiot.
  4. Sorry if this is the wrong place for this but I see that Aaron Doran is having a cup of tea with Chris McCann (Burnley's 23 year old Irish midfielder) and 32 minutes ago Chris himself tweeted 'Jus arrived at hotel..such a long trip to get here got a game in 4 hours..#sotired' New loanee perhaps? I would doubt we have been able to sign him.. I would be VERY impressed if we have though. EDIT: SCRAP THAT! IT WAS ALEX MACDONALD WHO TWEETED AS POINTED OUT BY LIBERO. I'M A FOOL!
  5. I will pledge a fiver and feel mean in doing so after all these very generous donations but I am a poor student and genuinely can't afford anymore. Also my smaller donation also means anyone else doesn't have to feel bad in pledging a lesser amount so come on guys lets get pledging and raise as much as possible. I will go for a time of five hours, five minutes and five seconds to match my five pound pledge. I'd also like to take this chance to congratulate you in doing this and wish you all the best.
  6. I've just stumbled onto this match report if anyones interested. Match Report Edit: Sorry just seen this was linked on page one.
  7. Gavin Morrison does a bit of tweeting (@GavinMorrison17) and which Andy Shinnie was being followed because @andy_shinnie tweets quite often. There does seem to be an unused account (@andyshinnie) which perhaps was being followed..
  8. No worries monthecaley. Aaron has just tweeted that he is on his way to Bath so we may well be seeing him against Aldershot.
  9. Yeah, its definitely just banter. I was meaning could we read into the fact Alex MacDonald said 'when im back up'

I hold a similar view but I'd still be happy to see him in an ICT shirt not that its gonna happen.
  12. Alex MacDonald @jonnyhayes7 @aardc91 az im tellin u now when im back up ur making my tea and cleaning up after me. #bitch Can we read anything into this? I will also add my name to the list of those who want to see more defenders signed.
  13. You can also add Lee Cox to that list. Glad to see more new faces coming in.
  14. Here is a five minute video showcasing how not to defend.
  15. just saw the goals on sky sports news. livi's was a beauty.
  16. Liam Molesworth Things like this has only made my desire for football stronger. Liam Molesworth I havn't bad mouthed anyone at ICT, I like every1 there! It's a gr8 club and thts y i wnted 2 play for them. Don't believe what your told! I really feel for the guy. I bet he wishes he didn't have a twitter account..
  17. I hope Meekings isn't deployed as a centre half because I thought he struggled there against Forres.. He just seemed to be too small. I can imagine him being a better full back. And as I've said before I hope Terry isn't taking Shinnie in as a forward because I really don't think he's suited to play there. Anyway I'm glad to at least see the squad growing and I look forward to both lads making me eat my words. Whilst I agree that Rooney's contract should be used to attract a real quality player but I don't want to see someone coming up just for the money...
  18. My views at 4am Esson didnt have anything to do that i can remember but I've absolutely no worries about the GK department. Proctor I thought he was alright.. He did get beaten for pace by Jason Crooks/Craig Gunn a few times (as did the whole midfield and defence) which is a bit of a worry. But his versatility makes him an important squad player. Aldred looked solid and has given me a wee bit more faith in our defence going into the new season but we are still really lacking in numbers in defence. Rosscoe gave his usual solid as a rock performance.. We could do with another one or two of him. Gillet again no better than alright from me.. Looked better going forward than defending, sold himself a few times. Ross another fine performance from nick and I'm looking forward to seeing him in his second year in the spl. I'd like to see him chip in with a few goals this year. Tansey much improved performance from Greg compared with the Forres game(in part down to elgins midfield being poorer and less up and at um than forres'). Always offering himself as an option and looking to get the ball. He likes a long ball..I'd just like to see more of them arrive into feet. But his shooting left a lot to be desired today. Morrisson I thought had a really good game. Dictated a lot of the play taking hold of the middle of the park. From the two games I've seen so far I'd be picking gav over tansey assuming coxy is first choice in central midfield, Greig It was good to see Andrew get a lot of game time (just a shame it came at the cost of an injury to Graeme..hope it's not s bad one, I did notice he was hobbling around ICTs dugout) Thought he had a decent game. He's va tricky wee player but at times he's got all the stepovers etc but is going nowhere. It'll be interesting to see if Terry gives him a shot in the spl.. He's the kinda guy I'd like to see running at tiring defences. A. Shinnie is not a forward so I dont understand Terry playing him there in the two games I've seen. He's alright but IMO no better than those that were released (dani/Eric) Richie was my mom today not just for his three goals but because without him I don't know what we'd do. IMO he was in a league of his own. Totally committed and winning everything. But if he's going to be deployed as a striker he's going to need someone to play alongside him.. Someone to win the second balls and latch on to the flick ons. Subs Tuffey had one good double save but looked a wee bit shaky from some crosses but like I said no worries regarding GK. Jack Sutherland looked a good prospect. Nice attacking full back but don't see him getting much action in the spl. Polworth showed why he's held in such high regard, always desperate to get on the ball with an eye for a pass. Cooper/G. Shinnie didn't have enough time to do right or wrong, My analysis.. In an ideal world We need another one or two centre halves still and a right back (K gilbert perhaps? Not seen him) and being really greedy I'd like another utility defender to cover a few positions. I'm not too worried about midfield at the moment. Another winger perhaps but Ross and Hayes I'd imagine would be first picks there. I'd be happy to see Stuart Duff back also. We need an out n out striker or two.. Someone we can rely on m to get at least double figures goals a season. In general in still very worried about how small our squad is.. We are going to have little to no depth.

Not to be a prophet of doom or anything but I don't understand giving those two two year deals at all.. Especially Meekings.
  20. Ross off Cooper on
  21. Greig just blazed an easy chance over the bar. Shinnie off Polworth on
  22. 3-0 Foran gets his hat trick
  23. Tuffey on for esson also
