  1. Bet Victor and McBookie (who I today realised are owned by Bet Victor) were the only bookies offering prices today but according to tweets by McBookie they have taken the market down for tonight and they will be putting it back up in the morning.
  2. This is a good initiative and its pleasing to see the club continue to be proactive in improving the service they offer to fans but when I first read about it I thought $20 (£12.50) a month seemed a lot of money so I looked at the other Premiership clubs who offer similar services and their offerings are generally priced around the £5 a month mark, which IMO seems a much more reasonable figure and a price at which I would be far more inclined to sign up. I'm not trying to set the cat amongst the pigeons here and I also understand that setting up and running initiatives such as this one require a lot of time and effort but can I ask why our service has been valued at more than double what other fans in the Premiership are paying?
  3. Thanks for all that you did up until about a week ago Terry, just a shame it ended how it did. My final contribution to this thread is going to be this lecture I've just come across this which for anybody who hasn't seen it gives a brilliant insight into Terry's management techniques whilst he was here. Very, very interesting.
  4. I voted for Hartley because the job he has done at Alloa has been fairly phenomenal but I certainly wouldn't be averse to Levein and agree that there needs to be a role for Richie somewhere whether that be as manager or assistant, head coach whatever, as long as we can keep him here. And to everyone going on about 4-6-0, in fairness to Levein I think the only error he made was coming out and naming the formation as 4-6-0, if he hadn't said anything I strongly believe nobody would have said anything or even noticed. As soon as it was announced the sofa fans and football manager players who think they know everything about the game went absolutely ballistic and he's never been able to live it down. Lets not forget Spain won Euro 2012 playing a 4-6-0, obviously Del Bosque was influenced having played Scotland in the qualifiers
  5. They have just completely copied the odds from McBookie who have been offering prices all day.
  6. If this is true, I'd be well up for it. Mo is clearly a very good coach and I think the reason he has failed as a manager in the past is due to the added off the training ground pressures involved with the title. I can't help but draw parallels with Steve Clarke, previously very successful number 2 now doing a good job at West Brom where his official role is 'head coach'. In his own words “As a head coach - I’m not a manager with a budget, remember, which means the club have the final say. I can make recommendations but it’s down to the club to bring in players. My job is to work with the players." I think if we brought back someone in the director of football/sporting director role and offered Maurice the job of head coach, assisted by Ritchie then it could be a very successful formula.
  7. Yep, BT have won exclusive rights to all games.
  8. Judging by the attire, he has a few sheep that he needed to go round up.
  9. Shearer (Repeat)
  10. As are, I would imagine, the majority of football managers in Scotland.
  11. I'll keep an eye out for the sentence 'A source inside the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium last night confirmed "its more than likely he is going"' in all the papers in the morning.
  12. I blame Tesco, there are no local shops left.
  13. THERE USED TO BE TWO DIFFERENT CLUBS ???
  14. Surely we should be looking for a Mr Baker or Candlestickmaker, no?
  15. I wouldn't believe everything I read on on Hibs.net or indeed any other football fan's forum, dare I say it, even this one.
  16. Lesson 1: Buttering fingers
  17. Four all Premiership ties. Very average draw for us, not easy and not overly exciting. May as well put my Dougie Imrie anytime goalscorer bet on now...
  18. And yet TB took charge of ICT training this afternoon ? 'Contract talks' could easily mean a two minute chat after he had taken charge of training.
  19. STV News reporting that Kenny and Terry had contract talks today which will continue tomorrow. Looking at a two year deal with option of a third year. Also saying that if Hibs make an approach it will be refused thus Terry would have to quit his job here in order to move.
  20. Nor do I, why would he? He is achieving/can achieve as much here as he could at any other club in the Premiership (outside Celtic but thats obviously never going to happen). He is also under little to no pressure here compared with what he would be under at so called bigger clubs.
  21. Yass, god send for folks like me who can't be there. EDIT: I've just switched over and Danny Baker is playing crazy golf with hairdryers. And people normally pay for this. I DESPAIR.
  22. Wonder how much that cost to produce, hope it wasn't deer.
  23. Hahahahahahah oh my days. Had to watch that twice. I, especially, like how the son loses his Scotish accent part way through.
  24. Firstly that whole 'outside the spirit of law' argument from that Sky Sports piece is a joke. Its a competitive game and the whole point of a competitive game is to try and do things to get an advantage over the opposition. It was a very, very clever move and if we hadn't of scored off it, I think its safe to say play would have just been allowed to continue. If the linesman/referee wasn't happy they should have stopped play immediately. They didn't, thus, they both clearly thought it was alright. We score, linesman then changes his mind thinking its unfair/or something which we will never find out because our officials never have to explain themselves. The other thing is we didn't even gain that much from it, the ball was still crossed into the box as would be expected from a corner and we scored off the second phase. Partick had two chances to clear the ball and not one player on the pitch stopped playing. Looking closely at the rules, the goal must have been chopped off because the linesman said Draper touched the ball twice (He clearly doesn't) before another player as that is the only infringement (other than handball) which results in an indirect free kick to the opposition. Any other infringement results in a retaken corner. Oh and Scott Fox should be ashamed of himself, continually just parking himself on the deck and in the process hauling other players down at corners. We were clearly targeting the fact he is a bit flappy when it comes to crosses as the majority of our corners were pinged in right above him.
  25. Just a shame none of them play for ICT. I'd choose Meekings to blast it home.
