  1. Dundee might, just might have saved the season by sacking Jocky, but mebees a couple of weeks late, time will tell, one thing is certain, we definately wouldnt have won it had Jocky stayed.Today was the best we have played in weeks.
  2. Eh love it when you get cocky JB :021:
  3. Think we,ve done that and gone beyond. Oh dear, seems to be a few Caley fans that don't do irony!! Well done on yer result today lads,be interesting to see how ICT deal with the pressure now the dynamics have changed, different game now, instead of having "nothing to lose"
  4. Aye , yer right, no point in discussing a subject that he been sorted out to everyones satisfaction eh?
  5. You are of course correct Scotty, the erses that think up and try to enforce these rules are entrenched in the OF mindset of only "big" clubs should be able to join the "big" boys. I think i'm correct in saying we were the first to suffer to any great extent having to get our stadium "SPL compliant" to get promotion, which was the start of years of financial woe, culminating in the near demise of the club.( i appreciate we were the architects of our own downfall in many ways, but believe this was forced on the directors who gamled, and lost, persuing the dream) Whatever folks opinions regarding DFC's "big spending" this season, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind there would be one less club in Scottish football today, due to the intransigance and shortsightedness of the SPL,were it not for the will and determination of Dee4life. Footballing ability and results should be the ONLY criteria when it comes to promotion and relegation.
  6. :022: Kent before eh clicked it wiz gonna be that ane, caused a few spat oot coffes i'm sure!
  7. WHOOOOOOSH! Some light reading for ya Caleyrule clicky here.... :024:
  8. Piece of nonsense sacking Mowbray, the guy had them second top of the league, then a few bad results followed by a humiliating doing from a team struggling at the foot of the table and he's oot the door, some fans just expect way too much!! ............................
  9. The limited budget is apparent though. They don't do much in the way of replays of incidents/chances. Agreed, but with the budgets involved i was impressed, shame they have been knocked back again from going on Freeview, which i would have thought was the obviuos platform for Alba. I think they should loosen the Gaelic only grip and move to a more general Celtic channel encompasing all areas of Scottish heritage and broadening the appeal. edited to add.. Kinell JB, we nearly agree on something :004:
  10. Gaelic or no,it was great to be able to see the game live and i easily blocked out the foreign commentary (shame the result wasnt better) Thought the camera work and presentaion was very professional and if Alba are the only Telly company prepared to cover lower division footy, so be it, we'll just need to indulge them for our own benifit i spose.
  11. No doubting that JB, at the moment.
  12. Fair play guy's, good result and exactly what any team with idea's of winning the league should be doing to the bottom team. Momentum deffo on your side now, will you's handle the pressure and expectation? We'll see. Well done to County as well, great result for them :D
  13. You could be right D,something to do with having seen an affy lot of rubbish recently!,hopefully the clean sweep starts tonight Seriously though, it's not the town center, but roadsides and bushes etc, ditches at the side of the A96 look terrible and create an affy poor firsty impression for visitors coming in from the airport
  14. Is it just me or is anyone else concerned that Inverness and surrounding area seems to be turning into a litter bin with strewn litter eyesores all over town and approach roads? Have there been cut backs in this area?,is it a symptom of new policy's on waste disposal? or am i just turning into a grumpy old man?
  15. The powers that be make plenty mistakes releasing killers they deem safe, who then go on to kill further innocents. If proven 100% and premeditated i think there's a case for capital punishment.
  16. :024: Is that a real place?,i find that hard to swallow.
  17. Was billy dodds not chisholms assistant? Dodds was strikers coach at QOTS,he's now assistant to Chisholm at Dens
  18. Music on every weekend but not fiddles and accordions . Cheers DC wisnae sure, but knew they were rebranding and trying to make it a new music venue, all to the good of local live music IMO :)
  19. Kenny Brannigan who was Chisholms assistant was moved up
  20. Newly revamped pub "Ceol Mor" (gaelic for the big music i'm told) the old Finlays on Tomnahurich street has music on regularly, worth checking out
  21. JB NOTHING will EVER meet with the approval of all on that board, GAURENTEED
  22. Thought my smiley at the end of my last post indicated my thoughts on this appointment JB.Chis was being actively sought as a manager prior to Jocky's appointment but opted for an extension on his contract and went on to take QOTS to a cup final and europe. Could personally have stomached Jobbie McCall but think the division amonst fans would have been detrimental, so all things considered, whilst disapointed things didn't work out for Jocky I'm hopeful the timing of this appointment will prove positive. Surely you learned about getting confident on collecting yer bets too soon eh?
  23. Official announcemet of new manager at 7pm from Dens
  24. Didnae see that ane coming.
  25. Not yet anyway! i player licence?
