  1. Yer spot on iamthecaptain1, i'd agree over the piece both league games against ICT a draw was a fair result and we should have been buried in the cup final, but i've seen several games this season where the opposition played better football, County in Dingwall and Partick at Dens stand out,but we came away with full points, unlike previous seasons where we could outplay the likes of Saint J and Accies in most games and too often draw but dropping far to many points to be in contention when the chips were down.Everyone i spoke to about yesterday would have taken a point with 15 mins to go,but the spirit in the team is terrific this season and they are desperate to win(Alba final being the major turning point) long may it continue. Good luck against Motherwell the night,I'll have my ICT head on for the evening
  2. The phrase "ya can't polish a turd" springs to mind,Jocky's no everybodies idea of a good manager but his teams will always be very hard to beat, was treated very badly at Dens last time round with the Marrs Bonnetti era seeing him out the door as we were in our highest SPL position, hopefully he can see the job through this time. Caley 100, while ya never say never LG is on a 3 year contract at Dens so it would take some offer to shift him.
  3. As you lads wid say "I BELIEEEEEVE " massive 3 points today, mate just phoned fae Dens, played great first half but weren't at the races 2nd half, got pulverised fae Dunfermline, 1 Griffiths attempt and his goal but eh'll take winning ugly till the end of the season Johnboy, Jocky is i believe, the first mamager to have won all cups in Scotland! Scottish,League and Alba :(
  4. The qaulity of MP3 is pretty poor but the conveniance is brilliant,it's a bit of a trade off but with folk wanting instant gratification these days, and few can be ersed with high end Hi Fi ,sadly reckon CD's etc will go the way of vinyl.
  5. I'll tell ya at Fehv o clock tonight :003: hopin Airdrie wiz just a blip :cdn-flag:
  6. (code) I realy wear them a lot along with my platform boots and cheesecloth shirts. Apologies to the OP. this has now gone O/T and needs moving to general nonsense :cdn-flag:
  7. Good to see them showing a human side rather than the homogonised Robocop image many seem eager to portray, alienating Joe Public in the process. Good PR if not PC IMHO
  8. Should get together and practice this as a routine ............... Ultras sooooperb
  9. Wiz it your round next by any chance JB ?
  10. It's no PC for PC's to be seen havin fun.
  11. It's not the punishment but the inconsistancy of the "make it up as we go along" SFA that concerns me.Pretty harsh punishment and consequences for what was obviously an administrative error with no gain from the player coming on,compared with other clubs blatantly cheating and playing players signed as consultants resulting in paltry fines for the club concerned ( not that i'm bitter) About time clear and concise rules and resultant punishments for breach were introduced so clubs know where they stand.
  12. Colin Bailies more famous for his rugby exploits up this way, but he sure knows a good football team when he see's one :004:

  18. Mr 100,symptoms can be many and varied with many suffering like Mr Ender, baldness can be a side effect from pulling hair oot, also heavy drinking, depression and sitting in front of Sky sports news on Saturday afternoons shaking yer head non stop are all symptamatic of this syndrome.
  19. No as scary as walking into Torry though! :P
  20. Dear Ender, Please be comforted in the knowledge you are not alone in suffering from this condition,I have suffered similar symptoms for 5 years now so i know where your not coming from.Don't give up hope of rising once again though,as some of the worst cases have been turned around with just a small injection creating the impetus for a renewed thrust.Beware however of many cheap, quick fix solutions touted about, these simply dont work as i have found out after trying several which proclaimed "gaurenteed sucess" and while giving short term relief they may seem to stiffen resolve, but usually flag when a real sustained effort is required. I trust reading of others suffering will be a small comfort to youself and hope you can overcome what is a very worrying complaint but far more common than you think, don't suffer in silence as many suffer similar symptoms but some are not as brave as yourself to bring it out in the open. a fellow sufferer Dee
  21. Purely in the name of research JB!!Fifers paradise eh?, I did say similar age to Alex, allowiing for a few years in my favour and the hard paperound i had :P
  22. I'm sure the exact same story ran at this time last year, seems like Weatherspoons have latched on to the "outrage" angle and resultant free advertiseing they recieve in towns and cities all over the country for bunging in a loss leader.Being of a similar age to Alex i also remember in my youth going out drinking and getting drunk but not going out drinking to get drunk. My old man ran a grocers/0ff licence in Dundee and i cant remember folk buying beer in more than 6 packs except at Christmas and Hogmanay.I dont think pubs are the main prob in selling cheap drink but 3 cases of beer for ?20 from supermarkets is asking for excessive binge drinking.
  23. Used to love watching the Embassy world darts before the split into 2 bodies spoilt the validity of the world title.Whilst I'd never call darts a "sport" in the real sense of the word (i.e. using the "do you change footwear to do it?" rule to define if it's a sport or not) the skill and nerve required should not be underestimated.I was a no bad pub player in my day but had a window between 2 and 6 pints where if there was a decent crowd watching a couple of pints settled you down but once ya got passed 6 the doubles doubled and finishing became a lottery :)
  24. Ten past eight
  25. That's Saturday night oot dancing gear for JB
