  1. HUUUUUUGGGE 3 points the day Mannie,wi you lads and Coonty no playing ,had we no won eh would have seriously been starting to worry, this puts the pressure back on chasing pack and surely Dunfy and Partick oot the race now.Awa to lie doon in a dark room now,eh hate listinin on OAM no good for the BP RIP Bobby Cox legend
  2. Bit of a scunner, our game getting called off, however results couldn't have gone much better, short of you guy's dropping a point or three. All the chasing pack have to play each other and points will go,still happy with the position we're in,but pressure has been applied due to losing to County, the run in will be interesting, last day decider anyone?
  3. Nonsense like this and the case in Ayr with the copper charging folk for littering for dropping a 10 pound note, or blowing their nose whilst stationary in a car are really starting to stretch the credibility of the police. We all see and hear of serious crime going on and lack of resources etc whilst this kinda of nonsense goes ahead using up court time and police resources where's the "shakes head" smiley
  4. Having fun and enjoying yerself at a football match whatever next
  5. The best candidate to date by far for the CTO "word of the season" award! :( You stick wi me Charlie boy,eh'll broaden yer vocabulary wi words ya never kent existed :(
  6. Now,i'd go along to that right enough
  7. Wasnae havin a go BTW LG,just an observation,i know you folk put in a lot of time and effort ,and it's very disapointing when a lot of effort arranging is met with apathy, but new ideas are needed where fund raising is concerned.Good on ya's for trying the event at the Caley club, shame it wasnae better supported.
  8. Great article here,he say's he didn't sit on the ball "in that game anyway" played keepy up and generally took the proverbial, sure i remember footage of him standing on the ball and surveying the horizon looking for a team mate to pass too, great stuff JIm Baxter
  9. Your spot on Charles, clubs need to be a bit more imaginative and come up with more innovative ideas to part supporters from their hard earned.Formulaeic sportsmans dinners, exactly as you describe, and race nights (sorry Lady F) are past their sell by and new ideas are required.I would happily come along to ICT functions but as an "outsider" i need to feel i get value for my money and entertainment which to some extent we sometimes ignore if it's for "our" cause
  10. Great initiative by the trust, well done. With financial assistance on this scale, is it time to push for getting a fans representative on the board? I suggest CaleyD
  11. Where's Cyril when you need him
  12. Poor poor performance from Dundee yesterday Mannie, County came to do a job and did it well, they bossed the game and closed us down well, preventing us playing, i think both keepers had 1 save each to make. Over the season all teams will go through a bad spell, so hopefully this is ours,a wee break for the cup next week then onwards and upwards from there, the waters are still a wee bit muddied with all the catch up games to be played but i'd still rather be top with points on the board than games in hand which need to be squeezed in and will stretch the resources of all teams concerned
  13. I think it's pretty straight forward for any club to provide a competant, up to date official website and anything less than competant and up to date is just lazyness. The problems only arise when interactivity via forums is introduced.I dont blame any club for not having forums on their website , but they should pay attention to associated unoficial site forums and respond accordingly where appropriate. The lack of official info from ICT re the Bulvitas movements has been pathetic.
  14. Shame if he's away,he'll always be remembered for his tremendous cup final goal
  15. In my opinion and having watched the events of the last several years at Dens unfold at first hand, supporters only REALLY unite and pull in the same direction in times of REAL crisis. DEE4LIFE came out of various supporters clubs uniting to fight and the desire and comitment of many to ensure the survival of the club despite a lot of in house arguments, politics and disagreements. Hopefully it wont take a crisis of such proportions for ICT fans to sit up and smell the coffee but i feel a bit concerned with some of the murmerings and vibes emanating from TCS these days, considering where you were just a few short years ago and i was truly envious of your apparent finacial stability, these things can be turned round if the will is there but whats that saying again about good men doing nothing? PS,i don't blame any supporters for no going to Airdrie.
  16. Can deal wi slow punctures Mannie, so lang as we dinnae suffer wi broken bottles .Pivitol weekend next week Coonty at Dens and QOTS at rampant Dunfermline, dinnae see ICT slipping against Partick tho they have something to prove after today Eh'd have bit yer hand aff fir a point at 1500
  17. Shucks, ta lizi, sadly ehm cyber spoken for wi Mrs Paulibee, mind you, she's no been about for a while :024:
  18. :D Surely no,they only spent marginally more than some Romanians look for in compo :004:
  19. Further to the above, whats folks "hates" in Scottish football. I hate Alan Hansen talking about England as "we" I hate OF fans who assume coz you dont lean towards their side of the OF you automatically must support the other I hate being treated like a hooligan because i attend football matches I hate self important hingers on I hate 3rd place being seen as an achievement I,m sure y'all have plenty more.....
  20. I can relate to a lot of what he's saying......... I take more pleasure in seeing Chelsea lose than I do in seeing QPR win at the moment. I sat through so many matches when we were absolute dogs**t under the likes of Ray Harford and with people like Paul Bruce, Matthew Brazier and Mark Perry in the squad and I never felt like this. The club isn't ours anymore but more so than that - football is just properly gash these days. I mean really gash. football generally. I hate nearly everything about it these days.... I hate the Prem and the myth that it is exciting this year. Man City breaking into the top four isn't exciting. They spent loads of money. It's no more exciting that Nameless C*** getting to number 1 in the charts after winning the X-Factor. I hate the myth of Arsene's kids. Buying some French kid when he's 17, playing him in the League Cup and then selling him when he's 20 after about 3 appearances in the league is NOTHING SPECIAL. I hate hearing about Liverpool/Man Utd's debt but nothing ever happening about it. A club needs to go to the wall for the money thing to change but it doesn't happen. Why the **** are Charlton, Leeds and Southampton still in business? I hate Frank Lampard's stupid f'ing face. I hate John Terry being England captain when he's CLEARLY AN OAF. I hate the England team. I hate young exciting wingers who have nothing but pace. Tony Scully had nothing but pace. I hate the FA Cup. There may be little shocks like last night but for the most part you know who's going to win it. Unless a team throws away all their financial security to win it a la Pompey. I hate Harry f'ing Redknapp. And Jamie Redknapp. And Louise Redknapp. And the Wii. I hate James Nesbitt, Eammon Holmes and f***ing everyone. I hate Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer. I hate Garth Crooks. I hate Garth Brooks for that matter. I hate Sky Sports. I hate that when a lower league player beats 10 players and chips the keeper it doesn't matter but if Rooney scores from more than 20 yards it's amazing. I hate that everything football related has to have 'Club Foot' playing behind it. I hate that female sports journos are now mandatory. I hate Mark Lawrensen for not coming out. 'I do like a big man at the back'. I bet you do. I hate any advert that portrays football to be about anything other than pain and disappointment. I hate any advert that mentions pies at football. I hate Lee Hughes and the fact that he makes a living from the game. I hate Marlon King and any team that signs him when he gets out. I hate that it'll probably be us. I hate Phil Brown. I hate 'well the ball is a lot lighter now and will cause goalkeepers real problems this summer' before EVERY F'ING TOURNAMENT. I hate that Kieron Dyer earned more in the time I took to write this post than I'll earn this month. I hate Adrian Durham, Ian Wright and Alan Brazil. I hate Gazza. Either die or shut up. Stop f'ing lingering. I hate hearing about Hillsborough more than I hear about Heysel or Bradford. I hate that a comeback from 4-0 down at half time (TWICE) means nothing because we aren't f'ing scouse. I hate Leeds. I hate Roy Keane. I hate grown men wearing football shirts of their team whilst shopping on a saturday when their team is playing at home. I hate that I don't hate Roy Hodgson. I hate Jermaine Beckford and any player who has neck tattoos. I hate songs being inappropriately taken as club anthems and then sung in a manly way. 'I'm forever blowing bubbles....'. Gaylords. I hate Danny Dyer and anyone he's ever interviewed. I hate the book 'Cass' by Cass Pennant. It is honestly the stupidest thing I've ever read. Chapter 1: Millwall. 'Yeah we took 50 to Millwall. They had 1,000 in their mob but we ran 'em up and down the street'. Chapter 2: Liverpool. 'Yeah we took 50 to Liverpool. They had 2,000 in their mob but we ran 'em up and down the street'. eff me... Jade Goody's autobiography is probably better. Even her non-ghost written one. I hate that all good youngsters end their careers at Spurs before they start
