You are right about all the other regiments snorbens. The easy bit is finding who was killed in WW1 which is listed on the memorials but finding out if they played for Caledonain or Thistle will be much more difficult. There might be something in the Inverness Courier or Am Saile as you said which would take a lot of time. The other thing they are hoping for is that family stories might have been passed down about a relative that played for either team that were killed in the war. It would be a good bit of local history to have recorded if anything can be found.

I am guessing that the initials on the stone are those of the builder who built the wall. It is on Millburn Road at the Morrisons car park and would have been done about 30 years ago when the Safeway supermarket was built. It might not have even been a local builder.

October started well with 3 wins against Ayr, Partick and Cove. The next three were a draw with Raith, loss to Hamilton and thumping from Morton so the votes were mixed. It was good to see some regulars voting again The winner for October is Zak Delaney With four months in we have six players very close at the top for the Player of the Year.
