Not much to go on there but it's definitely out of town My first thought is the old railway line from Spean Bridge to Fort Augustus

It is Scorguie House, I didn't know it was for sale but it is way out of my price range 'weeman' will have a view from his house over the water. The second one is the old Coastguard houses on Kessock Road and the photos were taken from the mouth of the river at Carnac Point on a beautiful Sunday morning. We often park at the old ferry terminal and go for a walk through the Merkinch Nature Reserve where you see a lot of birdlife. It's like the rest of Scotland if the weather is good it's beautiful, a nice run from Fort William and in the summer you can time it to see the steam train or have a day trip on the train which I have not done yet! When the fishing was at it's peak there were 40 lorry loads going out daily and the road was mainly single track then. I once asked a policeman where was the worst place in the north he was stationed and he replied Mallaig, it was a wild place when the pubs were full of fishermen according to him.
