The demise.
I'm pretty despondent right now with regards ICT, I think we are looking at the demise of our club as a top flight team, I really do. We can't buy a win, we don't look like getting a win and I think the manager has blown his lot on trying to figure out how to get the best formation and how to get the best from the players, according to some sources Foran is pretty thrawn and does not seem to be able to take advice from the coaching team around him. Some of the team set-ups have been questionable and tactics pretty naive, i'm sure the players can and surely want to perform better but the moral must be low as the pressure increases. As for the club, We have not moved on from our early days after promotion to the SPFL, Still the portacabin plonked outside, still dodging mud and puddles going to the shop/toilets and this to the sad stuff on the pitch and it's not much of an enjoyable matchday experience i'm afraid. Anyway, i'm off for a malt, and i'll be there on Saturday hoping and shouting the players on to maybe a win.

This was a game we needed to win, like a lot of games recently - and we have fallen short. One win in the league since 26th October is desperate, truly desperate. And the worry is I don't see a lot of improvement. The team set-up yesterday was baffling for a team playing at home vs a team dropping down the league, It was stunningly negative when we had creative players like Cole and King kicking their heels. I presume Richie had set up to stop Cunty scoring and try to snatch a winner, this almost worked - but theory and practice quite often don't go together - ask Craig Levein. Raven needs to be punted, he was caught out of position so often and using him as a full back come winger was stupid, should have played 4 4 2 using Cole/King. As for Tremarco, i'm afraid he is a basic footballer that gives 100%, his cross in the second half when his 1-2 got him to the by line was laughable. A lot of these players are now not good enough, or not giving their all - ie Polworth. Anyway, i'll be there a week Saturday hoping for the best and expecting the worst.

Exactly Iain, at this moment in time we do not have many options, Laing is going to be better in defence than Draper, who will surely be needed in midfield!

Aye well, canna say that result was not on the cards, Ceptic are getting better and better while we still struggle on. Our season will not be determined by today's game, more the next few weeks and hopefully we can keep in touch till the split, then the battle starts. Not much to take out of the game, Williams had a couple of stops but still looks shakey to me, the rest had a few we moments but overall the class was glaring. I really hope Richie can lift them for next week!

Yeah we won, but once again creating chances and scoring seems to be a struggle, And its a fact that the walrus' goal was indeed an own goal. This Saturday will surely be a far bigger test, and i'll go to the game hoping for the best and expecting the worst. Maybe I'm being overly sceptical but I didn't see much on Saturday to tell me we've turned the corner.
