  1. Devine played midfield vs cownty last game last season and was totally out of his depth, Williams is a wide player and should not be played centre mid. Trouble is we have no other decent midfielders who can get stuck in and win the ball.
  2. I cant wait to see to see the Tremarco/Hayes battle, going to be good.
  3. That's a crap excuse, dry mouth and rushing for beer before train home would be the honest answer mate! i'll get plaque altered soon...
  4. Ha Ha! poor Naelifts, nae luck eh, reminds me of Alec Mcleods leap over the fence at the A9 side of the stadium after we won promotion the SPL in 2004, broke his ankle and couldn't make the celebrations! That fence/gap has now been named ' Alec's leap' and has a plaque to say this on the fence, many tourists stop on the layby on the A9 and stare with wonder at what the feck he was thinking about on that day...
  5. Your source must be from Dingwall, I have been told by an ICT official that he would not re-locate.
  6. Close... he's actually appearing as Santa at Simpsons garden centre, I know I saw him there today - grown a white beard tho'
  7. Exactly! if he wanted to be here, he would be.
  8. Confusing a welcome and adulation? spelt different for a start...
  9. Right.. i'd guess by your avatar that you are really a County fan? Anyway, your post(if serious) is the act of a spoilt 13 yr old posted just before you throw toys out of big pram! I would love us to stay 2nd and reach a final and I don't really care who does it, what you don't realise is that ICT are not a huge club and cant pay big wages, like some(maybe most) of these players we bring in are not on big money, rather very modest money in fact, and any that show promise will be off, likewise managers (as we have seen)if successful will be offski. We need a manager who wants to be here and wants to succeed, and Hughes has stated that he is delighted to be in Inverness and see's the team needing very little or no change, but like it or not we require a manager at the helm as Shearer is not keen to be there any longer. I'm giving him my support for sure, and if you are an ICT fan you will too.
  10. Who would you have preferred then?
  11. Aye, welcome Yogi! seemed to say all the right things during his interview, acknowledged how well the team were doing and said he not have to do much, just keep this spirit as is. Good enough for me.
  12. I hear the 35k compo that Alloa wanted was a major problem. I heard that this was not the issue, more the FACT that Hartley would not be happy to relocate to the Highlands, therefore looks to me like lack of commitment.
  13. Jeez, the end is nigh!!! The board of ICT have interviewed the applicants they wished to talk too, they have decided for the way ahead for ICT to select John Hughes, they knew best to pick Butcher, Yogi obviously came across as the one with all the right answers, and if that's what they wanted that's ok by me. Will you have a coffee and suck in some fresh air and calm down!
  14. True.. then again you don't have much choice! accept it or don't go back, I know know what i'm doing.
  15. Press conference at the stadium on or just after 2.30pm, i'm not worried about Hughes becoming manager, he' got what it takes for us, and will be committed Oh, stumbling block with Hartley was seemingly his reluctance to relocate up here, wanted to stay south with family.
  16. Canna see any highlights of our game yesterday on BBC sport! other games are there but not ours! why?
  17. He should be made to cycle up the A9 naked with a gorse saddle. We should all agree that everyone who attends the game to keep every receipt for petrol/food/accom/train/bus etc and make up an invoice and send it to Doncaster.
  18. Did they actually listen, or was it just a 'pat on the head' exercise? knowing fine that they were not going to alter anything about the fixture!
  19. Aye, knowing these b'stards it will be a map of the A9!
  20. Think there was still a problem with him and his Scotland contract, he is still getting money from SFA, Until he gats another job of course, but if the job offer is way less money he will lose out. Vinnie used to have a house on the black Isle near Munlochy, don't know if he still has it though!
  21. He bought the Caley club!
  22. My JFK moment was on the 21st Dec 1988, I was driving home from Manchester for xmas and was about an hour past Lockerbie when I heard on the radio about a plane crash on the village, the rest is infamous history.
  23. I was on holiday in Dallas, Texas, staying with my uncle and aunty, My Uncle Lee let me play with his ex ww2 rifle!
  24. Depends if the 'burd' was a regular in the Corrie!
  25. You have NO chance of getting the council to alter their plans, they have already sold the land/agreed outline planning permission to developers along the route to the new bridge/crossing. I would imagine brown envelopes dropping into letter boxes a few years ago to 'help' the decision making process. Also keep an eye on how much this will end up costing by the completion of the project - not far less than the high bridge / torvean bridge plan i'll bet. These b'stards should be made to resign if it does!
