  13. I'm not really sure that it'a a minus right now :017: Especially after Colin Samuel missed a sitter PK last weekend. In one year we already hold 2 goal drought records (from start of season and longest goalless stretch) and they're two separate occasions.
  14. Eeesh. By chance has he done any MLS games yet? It looks like he'd fit in there no problem.
  15. is it by cheeting that you win your games If it is, we're doing a horrible job of that too....can't score, can't stop them on D, can't cheet either :crazy07: It's enough to drive you to buy another $13 beer at the game! :015:
  16. I suppose now is not the time to talk about how I've yet to sit in my seat at a Toronto FC game. We stand and sing/chant/cheer the full 90 mins + game in and game out. That wouldn't be rubbing salt in the wounds would it?
  17. If you all want to see how it's supposed to be done...check out the TFC (Toronto) game tomorrow. :021:
  18. Oh...and I have an extra ticket for section 224 for the Benfica game if you know of someone who wants it ;) Reasonable pricing is all I ask (slightly under face).
  19. If you're interested in the June 17th game...I may know of a few tickets...there's a bunch of us who have a Stag weekend planned for Boston that weekend. Scotty.....I've managed to get to all 3 league games so far (not bad for not having seasons). Will be there again Saturday too in my kilt this time. The south end is really starting to shape up nicely with their chanting/singing.
  20. That sounds like me. I made it pre and post (though not long post....just needed a couple good walks to make sure I was sober enough to drive home. Great game....i was still hoarse the next day from cheering.
  21. Give it time. Thing is with Toronto, you probably have a more international audience then some of the other MLS cities. Hopefully, this means a more footie savvy audience. It wasn't the prettiest game of football ever played, but it was a pretty decent soccer game :004: Scotty...should be at the game on the 12th again it seems (same seat you found me in as last time)...
  22. We're in the far eastern part....just the other side of Poland (and Russia, and China, and a small body of water). :017:
  23. Part of the reason they lasted this long is that the city had to prove they could support a "pro" team before MLS would look at them. That and a permanent facility was needed. It will be interesting to see how much support the new MLS team will get. There's a ton of old country Italians, Portugese, and East Indian folk around. Question is will they pay to see North American football. This isn't Porto, Chelsea, or Inter in for a 2 game friendly. Toronto has never historically supported the national team either. That said....they did it right with the stadium. It's going to be a cracker! I can probably stand up all game too....but I probably shouldn't rub it in eh. :004:
  24. It probably spells the end for the Lynx. Their support was never really that great anyways. I doubt they'll survive 2 years now. BTW...remember this is Canada. Pints before, after and DURING the game. :021:
