  1. It was a spectacularly paltry crowd, full-stop :024:
  2. Yes, I read and yes, I applauded
  3. You're kidding?? Geezo. Another weekend where plans may have to be changed at the last minute...
  4. Thank you, I enjoyed reading that. Very informative. (I enjoyed Granty24's Motherwell match-report too, by the way.)

    Brilliant!
  6. Out of interest, how do you know this? Diamond earring, always a give away. (<--- Sorry, I can't stop using it. It's the best smiley. Ever.)
  7. It's got to be done... (Have an old pal in Dunure too so will pull in a wee visit there. Make a weekend of it )
  8. These accusations were repeated loudly and often both last night and at Dunfermline. Slanderous in the extreme. Disgraceful.
  9. Super-duper report (I enjoy all of your match-reports, by the way )
  10. That's exactly how I saw it too.
  11. Dougie was superb and his goal was out-of-this-world He shut up his (disgusting) haters in the BEST possible way ~ Go Dougie!
  12. When I spoke to the woman at Morton this morning (11am) she said it was snowing then, plus 'everywhere' was 'still very icy', hence she didn't think Saturday's game would go ahead. I suppose we won't know for sure until after 2pm tomorrow.

I just rang Morton and apparently it's very doubtful that the game will go ahead :004: (Was also told it's ?17 for adult tickets in the stand. ?15 for terracing, but none for away fans...)

Oh geez, not looking too good in either direction at Drumochter at the mo...!

So am I... Already got Glasgow accommodation booked for Friday and Saturday night.

Clearly you are in need of medical intervention.

The first home game I attended was October 2008. First away game, March 2009 (Falkirk :010: ). Somehow I still got sucked in and have been at the majority of the games, home and away, since then. Clearly I've missed alot of Caley Thistle's great players and good times. Hopefully there'll be more of both in the future.

I was just making the point that I value effort and work-rate highly. (I invariably give Foran points in the matchday polls because even if he doesn't score he gives 100% and contributes tirelessly, not least defensively. That's what's needed.) Dougie Imrie is one of the few who will actually attempt to shoot, when the crowd is screaming for someone/anyone to have a go. The fact he doesn't score from every attempt is immaterial: he tries. He then gets slagged off for missing, of course. It's a no-win situation.

I could not agree with you more (as usual). He just doesn't seem able to do right for doing wrong, in some people's eyes. Personally I value effort above almost anything else, when it comes to judging a footballer. I think he always tries hard. And I think the team has much more ooomph when he's in it. I've never found him big-headed either. He's regularly taken time to speak to me and my son when he didn't have to; he regularly signs autographs for kids before home-games etc when many/most of the others don't; he was the only one who actually kicked the ball about with that wee mascot we had a couple of months ago, who looked about 2 yrs old! Also, I have a friend who's a teacher and she said he was excellent with the children during a visit to her school last year. I think he takes the off-field aspects of being a professional footballer seriously and I think he's very good at it. Well Done, Dougie!
  20. I enjoy all of your ICT YouTube clips, BromleyEagle. Thank you
  21. Agree on both points. Sanchez is proving to be alot stronger than his physical appearance would suggest. In tricky conditions yesterday he held onto the ball extremely well. Impressively tenacious. Apart from his incredible work-rate Foran, for me, has the best vision. He's an intelligent player and frequently creates openings for others. The team is far poorer without him. Imrie did well and caused problems when he came on. More effective than Hayes on this occasion. We had plenty of chances and should've won. Hmmm. Never been so cold in my entire life. (Took me 4 hours to get from Perth to home this afternoon. The A9 was like a 'B' road. Shocking.)

Geez, I hope not. I've booked a weekend in Glasgow, to fit around this fixture...
  23. That's an impressively obscure choice :cold02:
