  1. Would anybody like to see the badge redesigned, perhaps the eagle with the thistle in its beak although would you still want the ball, any ideals?
  2. Anyone have any thoughts on todays games in the Premier League? Who was the outstanding player of the day? Who was the outstanding team of the day?

Hi all Just back from hols and dissapointed with yesterdays result after the great result against the Dons, how many times do you get that scenario in football, more dissapointed by the various reports on the display than the result (Brews quote "we were pedestrian") I cant imagine how that can be, whenever ive played football or any sport come to that Ive given it 100% Ive been up for it and Ive enjoy playing, competing, Brews comments worry me abit second league game of the season and some of the players lack the commitment that is required already, or could it be that some are not up to the required standard for SPL football? Anyway roll on next Saturday and a chance to put a few things right for the home fans bring on the Hibbies lets hope we can get back on track. Have faith.
  4. Just out of interest Macdonald scored the only goal of the game against a strong Bristol City line up in Portugal yesterday. Did he have something to offer given the right chance to prove himself.
  5. Got to be Munro for me, got a seasons experience under his belt and you would imagine can only get stronger. See no reason to change.

This seasons stats Played 38 = won 13,draw 4,lost 21,for 51,against 62, goal difference -11, points 43 Teams that scored less than us; Hearts 47, Falkirk 45, Hibs 49, Aberdeen 50, Motherwell 50 All finished above us. Teams that conceded more Gretna 83 Stats against Gretna scored 15 conceded 2 Question: At the start of the season did anyone honestly expect us to finish higher than we did? If so what contributed to our failure to do so most? Looking at the statistics seems clear that we were not tight enough defensively only conceding less goals than Gretna, but we scored more goals than 5 sides that finished above us. Will we improve next season?
  10. Bristol City 0- Hull 1 Windass What a player this guy is,39 years old just earned his team 60 million(allegedly) scoring the winner in todays play off final and you would expect no future in the prem next season. What ICT or Bristol Rovers would give for a player like that aged 25 or 39.

Maddy OK take your point and your entitled to it, but i wish I was in a position to buy a season ticket and watch every home game(living in Bristol it would b a big ask) me and two of my kids would love to be there with or with out Brew.
  14. Sutherland,McAllister & Vigurs have signed new 1 year deals. Do these three have what it takes to step up to the first team and become regulars? It would be good to see them all make it, particularly Zander IMO.
  15. Black is a legend with my family, I hope that he stays employed. Brew yes needs respect but for me no contest.
  16. Your a let down CB :029:
  17. Who's the best player/most highly rated player you have seen who never made it? At Bristol Rovers not so long back there was a lad called Simon Bryant, he played England under 21's and so say had the world at his feet, now he's nowhere to be seen.
  18. I am going to St James Park Exeter tomorrow night to watch Exeter v Aldershot, Exeter need to consolidate their play off place Aldershot need one point for promotion to the football league, of interest the last time i watched Aldershot play was the 1973/74 season Division 3 when i believe Bristol Rovers beat them 1-0, still have the program somewhere in the loft. Anyone else on the forum watch any of Setantas coverage of the Blue Square Conference, I've seen some cracking games this season. Hope that tomorrows game doesn't disappoint.
  19. Morning all just wondered how confident everybody is of getting our second win of 2008 today? What would be the significance of a loss? Would there be any, or would the club take it on the chin and stay with the status quo?
  20. Bristol Rovers, home town club sould be twinned with ICT, i also watch out for Exeter results due to living in Exmouth as a teenager. **** long time ago that.
