  1. ****! a result there then. :crazy07:
  2. Good business sense from Motherwell FC though, they suffer from relatively small crowds due to being in close proximity to the Big two and numerous other clubs, but with such a large conurbation you would think they would attract a few more thousand people as they are doing well at this season. Perhaps this will help sow the seeds for a few more fans through the turnstiles.

If all the quotes regarding the wannabe new owners are correct or even if they are not, perhaps we should arrange a petition to give our backing to the current board and our disapproval of any take over bid from this sleazy charactor or English club wanting to use our club as a feeder, ref to Alex MacLeods quote the club as done very well and indeed still is, I see no reason for change at this time. Does anyone believe we should allow a take over bid from one or both of these groups to succeed?
  4. Watched the game last night, was a cracking goal by Robson a worthy winner, was a tight game Clyde probably lacked a bit of quality going forward. Willo Flood looked good for the Arabs.

Your club is your club, don't get to paranoid with being bigger or smaller than whoever, what the **** does it really matter. ICT are a great club they are your club that is that.

    Well said that man.
  8. Positive news if true
  9. Would'nt bet against Marius, but would be nice for Barry Wilson, my kids want Blakie to be the one.
  10. Good question SMEE, Two things got me watching ICT, the first was word was beginning to spread down south of the teams exploits, it got me watching for the ICT result. the second that actually got me watching Caley was visiting Inverness gave me the opportunity to watch, so i have a interest in not just the team but the area as a whole. What i like about it? well Caley have quite a few things in common with Bristol Rovers, examples: limited finance, underdog status, unfinished ground, friendly atmosphere, Blue on the shirts, feels safe taking my kids to watch, local players, both clubs have a bridge(prominent bridge) and a castle(what's left of Bristol castle) Bristol Rovers players are and have generally been very good for mixing with the fans example coming into club house after the match to talk to the fans, if you happen to meet any of them outside of football they have always got time for you, i have found the same with the Caley lads.
  11. Remember as a small kid liking Chelsea (early 70's) came home from school one day and told my old man that i was a Bristol City fan, he soon put me right on that, started watching Bristol Rovers 1973-74 season with my dad and have supported them ever since, been a season ticket holder longer than i can remember. Used to watch for Everton results around the Bob Latchford era, watch out for Exeter City results and support and coach my sons team Avon Athletic under 10's FC who play in the Hanham Minor League in Bristol. Started watching Caley 3 years ago and have been hooked ever since, its only distance that keeps me from getting to more games.
  12. Another 3 points, thought Marius was on hat trick today.....cant be long away.
  13. Is it just me? personally I get pissed off with this minutes applause thing, why all of a sudden cant we pay our respects the correct way (IMO) minutes silence. Every thing in life is noise, its easier to be noisy than silent, be quiet and reflect. Phil O'D no disrespect meant in bringing this opinion up.
  14. Ill be listening on line also, and i dont expect any other result than an away win, so come on Caley.....
  15. Have to agree i thought Marius was tremendous on Saturday, scored goals some great link up play, great vision some tricks and importantly a bit of grafting, playing like that wish i could get to see him more often(and have doubted him in the past) I think he may carry us into 2008(IHE) lets hope so. Heres to a great year for us.

Good question there mate, at bristol Rovers FC you can buy a DVD of each game, they have an independent company that does the filming. Extended highlights are shown in the Bar after every home match. Are there rules that mean this could not be done at Caley matches if a market was there for it.
  17. Im away later also with no internet access, so Happy New year to you all, also for the benefit of anyone from the club who may look on here may the New Year be good to you all, good luck Caley at Aberdeen bring us back 3-points and thanks for making my kids day on Saturday(match mascots x2) we all had a great day.

    Sign him for sure. :022:
  19. Indeed Alex a great offer from the club, lets hope that the Inverness public show their support to it and turn out in good numbers, unfortunately myself & family are back home in Bristol now and will not be able to do so ourselves.
  20. A win is most definitely on the cards, im going for 1-2 also.
  21. Gringo my sentiments exactly, Brew & the club just need to quietly go about their business, that starts in Edinburgh on Saturday, a result down there and I think its fair to assume that the club has turned the corner, so Im gonna vote McGhee and to be honest the bloke deserves it.
  22. Can you not just bring the Mrs, we don't bite honest. :015: :001: Ah L_G that would be good, and is what I will be hoping to do, she is a very reliable Taxi service :crazy07: and im sure would like to be there, only problem weve got is we have arrangments for that night, but i cant see any reason why we cant do both have always thought it would be good to do one of these meet ups. Seriously though a reliable taxi service number would be worth knowing to get from Dores and back.
  23. Hey am local for this one if i can persuade the mrs wouldnt mind coming over, be good to meet up with a few familiar names on here.
  24. Cracking write up in our local Bristol newspaper tonight on the inside of the back page, i think in all fairness its had more to do with Celtic loosing than ICT winning. Headline reads, Strachans "in shock" after loss. But goes on to give a really good account of the main highlights of the game, getting the name of the stadium right and all the players names correct.
  25. I shall be there with junior :021:
