Shame about the late goal, lets hope the boys can turn it around in the second half.

The Ian Black Appreciation Thread
Ian's a cracking player I hope he stays around. My 10 year old son and 8 year old daughters favorite player. And you and he would be amazed to know that around Filton Hill School Bristol, his name is well known.

FA CUP GLORY
Interesting question that Kingsmills, I have not heard a lot of negative things from Rovers fans about the City success and chance of getting to the Premier league, but then again things have and are going well for the Rovers, personally i think its amazing for them and hope they do it. for most City fans I am delighted but there is huge rivalry down here and there are a few knobs who get on the local radio station sport chat show that i would hate to see get the gratification.

FA CUP GLORY
Cheers guys for all your best wishes and support to the Gas, shame the boys up there couldnt quite pull it off against DU, but pleased that they achieved a draw and stay in contention for the top six, the FA Cup draw today is great for the Rovers and you never know what might happen, you will certainly hear about it from me if they create history and make a wembly semi-final.

Possible twin town thingey
Thanks for your responses, just in from work catching up with the forum, unfortunately for you guys based in Scotland Carlisle & Hartlepool away have been done which were probably the best away games for you to visit, but just to clarify there as been some genuine interest shown in ICT since the words been going around down here, the guy who asked the question is very much involved in Bristol Rovers arranging official activeties for the club to raise money etc. He and a few others have said it would be good to maybe have some fans down in Bristol be looked after come to a match and get some recognition from the club, in return perhaps the same could be done the other way around with a trip to Inverness, forge a link if you like, of course this is superb as far as I'm concerned. As for any of you guys who are based abit closer to Bristol well that's great as well would be good to get you down here for the Inverness/Scottish based guys of course theres a reasonable flight option for transit to and from Inverness/Bristol. It would be a great opportunity to meet a few of you lot from the forum. If this is feesable it may have to be done next season at this stage, but lets see what happens. Cheers Dar

Possible twin town thingey
As you probably know by now i am a far away ICT supporter born and bred in Bristol, but me and family are very much pro ICT from frequent visits to Inverness, if i lived up there with most of you guys id be a moderator no doubt!! Having promoted ICT to all and sundry down here you would not be surprised at the feed back and interest i get about how are ICT are doing and questions about what is happening up in the Highlands. I have been asked the question would any of the Inverness fans be interested in coming down to watch Bristol Rovers play in return we could get together and come to watch Inverness play or vice verse. So come on lets get some feed back, there is no problem getting me up there with you guys, is this feasible

FA CUP GLORY
As a Bristol boy/middle aged boy, if you know what i mean, being a Bristol Rovers supporter today was absolutely amazing, mostly for my lad gives him something to remember for rest of his life as i have done since watching Rovers beat Southampton in 1978 in the 4th round of same competition, only difference was we were in the same league then. Of note i will record here that last Tuesday Bristol Rovers played Oldham Athletic, my lad asked the question, dad i want to live in Inverness it would be great to watch ICT every week, my youngest daughter says the same all her school mates(8 years old) know of Ian Black & Zander Sutherland you would have to be there to believe it...... Any way great to get a draw today against DU and i think consolidate 6th place? Football could not be any better at moment, here looking forward to Man utd at Old Trafford..

FA CUP GLORY
Could be a momentous day in the history of Bristol Rovers FC, Play Southampton at the Memorial Stadium Bristol 12.30 KO the prize a place in the Quarter Final of the FA Cup, not bad for a 1st Division club. I will be there cheering on the Gas, if they manage to do it and ICT overcome Dundee UTD then a great day/night will be had.

St Mirren -V- ICT : Matchday thread
Good point away, about all that can be said. Was this the proverbial game of two half's?

Imrie on then

Who will score ICT's 1000th goal ?
Super stuff for Grant, if this was written about he'd have been the man for that goal.
-
St Mirren -V- ICT : Matchday thread
Well so far so good got that 1000th goal out the way and by the sounds of things were having the best of the game up to half time.
-
Hope this doesn't happen to us!
I'm only glad that neither of the two teams i follow will ever have anything to do with the Premier League, i cant imagine how any normal fan of the likes of Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal etc can ever feel that they are really anything other than a cash flow to these clubs, can there really be a bond between the two?
-
Caley Sign Imrie
If this guy is a direct replacement for Ranks then i see it as a backward step. But now we have the lad we need to give him a fair chance.

If you could change ONE thing at ICT?
Integrate the club shop into the stadium building, making it bigger and more fitting to a club with aspirations of becoming a top 6 SPL club. Or have a club shop in town.
-
the name should be.........
Good luck to you guys, not to sure about the Ultra,s bit, personally I would prefer another name, a few suggestions: Bridge End Collective North Side Posse But what ever you choose its good to see the younger fans doing something positive for the club.

ICT -V- Rangers : matchday thread
Lacked cutting edge going forward, thought Proctor may have done a bit more to get the ball/put off Darchville for his goal, might have helped his cause if he kept his arm down and played to the whistle, not a lot of difference between the teams on the day but in all fairness the finish was class. Adams goal should have stood.
