  1. From all the reports that ive read, sounds like theres plenty to be encouraged about, as was mentioned on this thread now its a case of getting the right man at the helm.
  2. Mentioned it before abit tongue cheek I have to say, but Ian Holloway is still out there and available would be worth a look before any decisions are made.
  3. On to the next chapter in the life of ICT, lets hope whoever comes in, temporary or not gets quick results and keeps this club in the SPL.
  4. Yes good luck to the boys today, we could do with a break and I have a feeling that abit of the old spirit might come through today. Heres to our first 3 points of 2009.

Also, where do you draw the line on offensive? Should ICT Flags and Scarves be banned because they might offend/antagonise the opposition? Sat here reading this thread I was beginning to think down these lines, how long before we can't wear our teams shirt in the ground, its bound to be offending the opposition supporters!!! Are we all jumping on the PC bandwagon here again, I wonder sometimes if we all get a little to offended very easily now adays.

Get to the bus station buddy your in town, stadium aint to far away........enjoy
  7. What will be will be, would rather have Blackie at the club but these things happen and as others have said the club have to move on. One thing is for certain when ICT find a good'n then eventually he will move on.
  8. Oh dear, I think the club have gone about this the wrong way, I think Brew & Malky have ran their full coarse at ICT, if funds are available, get the right manager in(I know this is an easy statement to make) The club may have to broaden its horizon, Cloughy has just got a great move from Burton to Derby and in my opinion there are 3 or 4 other good up and coming managers in the English conference, it must be the same for the lower english & Scottish leagues. My thoughs are that the we need to appoint someone with no previous connection to the club, someone with abit of character, man management skills as well as coaching ability with a keen eye for a good quality signing at the right price(again easy statement to make) Someone who can get into the minds of the players we have, motivate them, then add a few key signings to strenghten, I dont think foreign players are the answer at the moment for ICT. Does the club have the time for all this who knows, on the other hand bringing in two players who apparently are not good enough for the club they are with, is that the answer? I hope so!!
  9. Two Questions On topic If you believe you are a loyal supporter of the club, and you can afford the cost, is it not your duty to buy a season ticket regardless of the clubs position? Off topic Realistically how far do you feel the club should take notice of the fans views? Example just because it seems the majority of us want Brew gone and gone now, should they listen, appease us and get rid.
  10. If the management & board felt that there was no crises at the club, then from 4-45pm today their opinion must surely change, if something is not done to gain points over our rivals at the bottom now then we are doomed......rock bottom, weve got no choice now weve got to get out of that position, we cant amble on with heads in the sand relying on Hamilton or anyone else to finish last.
  11. Hey you lot have a great night tonight, Happy New Year to everyone from us lot in the west contry. Heres to 2009
  12. Who said footballs a funny old game? just right to see a shock home win, think not though and yesterdays result for them probably won't help, were in dire straights at mo and a win looks hard to come by, still everything crossed here. Johnboy where have you been?
  13. Would the current players we have at the club step up to the plate for a proven manager with motivational ability (assuming theres someone out there with those qualities who would come up to Inverness) Could they get the club to the middle or lower half top of the table? Enabling some thought to be given to building for next season I would not want the club going out on a knee jerk reaction and making signings that they may regret. I think the only way forward now is to give Brew the boot.
  14. Will be at the game, and probably put a few bob on the home win, might be living in cloud cuckoo land but the tide gotta turn sometime. Merry Xmas all.
  15. Without wanting to pay lip service to Barry(should he read this) a simple fact is that some players/managers go and are soon forgotten whilst some go and are never forgotten, I think this man will be remembered for along time by the fans of ICT a great pro and someone I wish Id have watched play more, someone who on the occasions my kids caught up with him always had the patience/time for a chat and signature. Good luck in where ever you find yourself next Baz.
  16. Yep time to go im afraid.
  17. Depressing times at the TCS at moment, Lets hope something or someone changes it soon.
  18. Any club with ambition would want JR, class act.

If your going to the game today get behind the lads, its another toughy with our home form how it is, what can be done to change the situation? Ive gone for a home win on the pools so theres positive. Good luck to the boys today, enjoy the game if your there.
  20. Danny Rose plays for Newport County AFC, he would be well worth a look, primarily left footed but can kick with both feet, spent 5 years learning his trade at Man Utd. Young lad with plenty of promise and has been drilled to play the right way, tidy on the ball with very good distribution.
  21. Good point there VLT, recon theres about 2000 football managers in amongst that 3000 also....
  22. I love this thread, some good points probably some rubbish too, the banter is superb, but I wonder why it is that some fans get so much into their team that they will not have a bad word said against it, even if its staring then right in the face. Denial, brushing things under the carpet wont do anyone any good.
  23. Who once muttered, "its a funny old game"? Ill go for a away victory. Good luck lads.
