  1. To all the detractors, come on you have got to give Brew at least a week :016: But seriously if this is how its gonna be then all the debate between ourselves insults being banded around and the like wont change a thing, Brew would not have been my choice but we now have got to come down to earth and get on with supporting the club. Alot of posters seem to think he is a failure already, ok theres some valued points to suggest he might be, but then again we all know that football can throw up some real unexpected results, so who's to know he might just prove some of us wrong. If he does many of us will soon conveniently forget some of the negative posts made in the last few days. Hey thats football :crazy07:
  2. BW > Past his best, another year in him, we will see. ZS > Be nice to see him have a run in the team, see just how good he can be.
  3. TAKING ON BREW AS CAUSED A STORM IN A TEA CUP
  4. If MFR are right and it is Brewster, then lets give him a chance weather for or against him, ranting wont change a thing and if he does manage to get us on a winning run then I'm sure we will all soon forget the criticism very quickly. As we are so soon into the new season though i am surprised that more time has not been given to getting the right man in, but who knows Brew might turn out to be the right man. Personally i think its a little bit to easy an appointment.
  5. Voted Warnock not because i like the thought of him being the new boss, but because i dont like to see players or managers return to a club that they have been with in the past. It seldom seems to work out second time around.
  6. Charlie suffers the blues
  7. {To say fans should have a say is very naive} Would be interesting though, to see who would be picked and what would happen when the ***** hits the fan. No pun intended.
  8. Two questions: Is there anybody who really believes were relegation favorites already? Like wise is there anybody out there who would honestly put their house on us finishing in the top half of the table at the end of the season? I will stick my neck out and say if answered honestly the answer to both is no, especially if your house is on the line. maybe you would wager something abit more realistic?
  9. As Jethro the cornish comic would say...Christ :crazy07:
  10. No Dods was not a one man team, but don't underestimate the difference a better than average central defender makes to a defence and team, by their nature they tend to be leaders an have the attributes that go with it.
  11. The table dont look any better this morning......i dont think there is anything to panic about at the moment, if the table is the same come xmas then thats a different matter.

This one always gets me; Suggesting that a club is a massive club(sleeping giant) and should be in a higher league..... :008: A club is where it is on merit so what if it has played at the highest level or get 5 times more crowd than anyone else or comes from a big city etc.
  13. Ironic story from the local paper tonight here in Bristol, Headline reads: BEASLEY CALLS FOR ACTION ON RACISM Goes on to say that Rangers match winner DaMarcus Beasley insists UEFA and FIFA must take hard line stance against racism after he was targeted by FK Zeta fans making monkey noises during last nights Champions League tie. He is quoted as promising to discuss with Rangers whether the club should make an official complaint, and that this sort of thing should not happen in the 21st century, and he was sickend to hear the chants. Wonder what he thought about the singing on Saturday ? And if he's told Rangers how he feels about that ? Is sectarian singing on the same level as racist chanting ?
  14. I would go with Bayne & Niculae up front for sure.
  15. Great news for the team, just what was needed after Saturday, best draw a line under that and start again from this weekend. Would like to have seen Marius and Graham paired up against Motherwell.
  16. Had a letter today from Virgin Media to say that i will get Setanta Sports FOC from this month.......Happy Days :021:
  17. Bristol Rovers...me home city club here, also my lads team Avon Athletic under 10's Attended the Clach game on saturday after the big match and was given a free shirt for the lad....top stuff, so will keep an eye on their progress from now on. Also follow the fortunes of Exeter City having lived in Exmouth for a couple of years.
  18. Agree with that TCF, the main difference in my opinion was the fact that Rangers have the financial clout to be able to field players with quality that ICT can only dream of, Fergusons first and Novos strike were both quality strikes, over all i did not think that they played much better than Caley. I was dissapointed that we never got good enough balls into the box from set pieces, clearly the best chance we were going to have of scoring on the day.
  19. Give the singing section a break, i too did have banter with one unnamed individual regarding lack of noise(Julie) but to be fair The Rangers game was always gonna be a hard one to make any inroads into home crowd atmosphere, they all probably made more noise than we credit them for but were always going to be drowned out by the Gers fans on the day. My advice would be for all you singing section guys to try and strike up banter between yourselves and a section in the North stand. How about starting with a chant between two sections Charlie Christies Blue & Red army, so the singing section start by chanting said chant whilst pointing at the North stand section, who in return reply with same chant whilst pointing at singing section, down at Bristol Rovers they do this and it really gets going each section trying to out do the other, this also leads on to variations in chant. By the way my 7 year old daughter has been singing a Caley song for the past week, that she made up which in all fairness it ain't bad have to get her to write the words down on here...
  20. I also feel sorry for Rory, if he is selected to play he can only do his best, his best is most definitely not good enough at this moment in time or at this level, there comes a time when every player needs to be reassessed and i agree he needs to move down a league or two find his natural level of ability. Taking a backward step can be beneficial.
  21. Shall be there with my son & daughter on the away terrace naturally.......will we be the only Bristol based ICT fans along ???
  22. Exciting news....well done to the guys at the top for making this happen. :021:
  23. Water off a ducks back.
