TM4TJ, you are of course right and for my part I am sorry. However I was merely trying to point out to some that it is easy to reply with silly little 2 or 3 word answers to have a dig at someone. Puttting a point across with valid views and facts is where the true knowledge lies.

I stated that you should not be slagging the likes of CaleyD for what he posts on here as without him (and others) you wouldn't be able to read anything at all. I then stated that if you didn't like what you read you had the choice to stop visiting the site. No mention of having to agree with what is written or not being welcome. It is obvious that we will not all have the same points of view on various subjects. There will be bunfights and p1ssing contests but I think there are certain people who should be above getting slagged off in this manner and these are the likes of Scotty and CaleyD. Now I'm not saying you have to agree with all they say because I'm sure they will bthe first to admit that they are not always right. What I'm saying is that if you don't agree with them, post your view on here with your reasons without slagging them off. Before somebody reads this to mean that I think it's ok to slag everybody else off. I DON'T, it's just as I've mentioned without these particular few, the masses would be very bored. So I think a little extra respect is called for. Just my opinion for what it's worth.

You have hit the nail on the head there caleytillidie. Lately it has become more and more tiresome coming on here and reading CaleyDs constant negativite posts with regard to our club. He keeps mouthing on about this 'negative mood' surrounding the fans, Im sorry but where is this coming from? Exactly what you say.. It is people like him that are creating this. I thought your initial post was spot on and I completely agree with the point you made. I too was down at Airdrie on Saturday and it was a pretty poor show that only 50-60 odd fans bothered their arses to turn up to support the team. Yes the time of the month, money reasons etc obviously played a part, but we should expect a better turnout than that. Wooooaaahhhh boy, If it wasn't for people like CaleyD you wouldn't have a site to go to. If you don't like what you read, simple don't come on here.

Calleytillidie, I agree with your post in general. I think what has upset a few is the "No doubt you will all be out for the kilmarnock game though cos its a bigger team. That would be typical of our support " remark. It does seem to paint everybody with the same brush. I'm sure you meant no harm and it's just a case of wording the post a little different.

But i cant say too much about that as we got humped by Fulham. I want pompey to stay up though i like them. I've learnt never to gloat until all the day's games are over. :023:

I was going to leave it but I just can't. The subject title is 'Tevez wins the league for Man u', not 'How loyal are you to your big team?'. And your point is? The thread started with Man Utd, had a bit about Liverpool. A smidgen of Chelsea, Arsenal, Bristol Rovers,Barnsley,Worcester city,Yeovil Town,Milwall,Plymouth,Raith, County, Dundee and even a mention of the OF. It had lots of talk about fans and where they are from and where they have been or not as the case may be. It was all in all a well rounded chat about Football in a football forum. Just because the title mentions one team doesn't mean we are not allowed to talk about other teams. If there was a problem with the thread going off topic I'm sure one of the mods would have sorted it. The posts submitted by me and the others didn't break any rules or offend anyone, well apart from you it seems. If you think it did do either please feel free to contact one of the admins/mods. As I mentioned in my earlier post, if you don't like the subject don't read it.

Couldn't agree more. Liverpool are playing crap at the moment. So are most others apart from Chelski. They aren't brilliant but I think they will take the title this year. Liverpool will be lucky to finish in the top half nevermind the European places. Can't see Rafa being there next season. I think they would have to win FA cup, Europa league and finish in top 4 to keep him in charge. :021:

Oh yes, DornochCaley, you'll have to leave as well. Feb8th you're out as well. I'm sure if we went through all the posters we would lose quite a few. Now if I was following another team that comes into contact with ICT, for example Raith, County, Dundee etc I could understand your concerns but as it is very unlikely Liverpool and ICT will ever play each other I don't see the problem. They are in a different league in a different country, just like I also follow Valencia as I lived there for a few years. Again no conflict of interests as they'll never meet. It is quite common for supporters to have a "local" team and a "big" team, it doesn't mean they think any less of the local team. To finish my rant with a commont that is used often on here and I think applies to this situation. If you don't like the subject of the thread, don't read it.

What's the point in having a non ICT forum if you can't discuss non ICT subjects? Quote from forum header "This forum is is for football discussions that are not directly related to Caley Thistle. you can talk about other teams, Internationals, other players or any other football related topics in here." What's the problem?
