  1. Is it the time of the month or something? Why is everybody so angry? Some choose to cheer County on, some don't get over it it's life. I personally think they deserve to be in the final after today's display but will not be cheering them on in the final as I couldn't give a toss who wins.
  2. Be surprised then cos someone has. Surprised I be :P
  3. Smee, I think you're being a bit unfair. I am not born and bred Invernessian so do not have the hatred flowing through my veins. I do support Caley as I live here now and they are my local team. That doesn't stop me appreciating good football. County played very well today and deserve their place in the final. You've always struck me as a decent sort of guy on here and I can't see why you would come out with such hate filled comments. At the end of the day "it's only a game". Come on mate, credit where it's due. County deserve to be in the final.
  4. I'd be very surprised to see a single person opt for the cup.
  5. All I can say is well done to County. Fair enough Celtic were crap but you can only play what is put in front of you. They played well above the standard set by Celtic and scored 2 great goals. I hope they go on to win the cup as they deserve it on that performance alone. :025: Commentator said they were 66/1 to win 2-0, bet some people did alright on that.

  7. Whilst I can see where you're going and also the reasoning behind it, I think we have to be careful about speculating too much. I'm not saying you're wrong but as there has been nothing released to point toward this theory, I just don't know if we should be going there. Either way it is a sad waste of life.
  8. Can't get the link to work. Is it just me or is some goul at work?
  9. Whilst I feel very sorry for the families involved, I can't help feeling a slight tinge of anger at the fact that (by all accounts) she was driving illegally. If it is indeed true that she had no licence then she had no insurance either. What if she had hit another car or worse a kiddy? I know some may feel I'm being a bit hard or heartless but ask yourself what if she had hit your child? Too many people, young and old drive around illegally. Wether it be minor things like tax or more important things like insurance and a licence, people think they can get away with it. Unfortunately it always others that suffer. In this case it is the families of the two youngsters. Can I just point out that whilst I have had this rant I still feel sorry for the families and find it such a shame that 2 youngsters have lost their lives in this way.

  12. Do we really want to dig this up again? I have relatives who are English (I myself have an English grandfather), I have relatives who are gay. It is possible to call someone a poof or English poof without intending malice (banter?). The fact that someone has been charged does dot prove anything. We do not know what was said and anyone implying it was a comment directed at Terry may be well off the mark (we have Irish players and Eric is also English). You are of course correct, it is possible to say these things in a banter like fashion and if so are accepted as that. Unfortunately in the instance I am referring to, this was not the case. Given DC's rather well published views it was obvious that banter was the last thing on his mind. But as you said maybe it should be left at that so I will not push it further. I just wanted to make my point, my work here is done. Do you always have to have digs at me? Pretty pathetic as thats all it is. But I was born in England (Though i class myself as Scottish) and my Mother is English. But i don't see what all of you are moaning at if i am being honest. You complain that we are not allowed to call them Gypos, but now moan about some guy calling Butcher an "English ****". Tea pot and Kettle (Or whatever that saying is) Banter people. Banter. Its not as if he is saying he wants to kill all the English? Or rubbing the death of English people in Butchers face is it? I also have a wee feeling that when the guy shouted, he probably ment to highlight the word **** more than the English part. End of the day, Butcher is English, and he may well be a ****! For the sake of peace, harmony and because I can't be f****d, I'm going to leave this alone.

    Dearest Terry,

Why so many nay sayers? If Birdog wants to believe then what's the problem? If it makes him happy why does it bother so many people? As he said at least he is enjoying himself. If he is setting himself up for a fall then so be it. He's a big boy he'll get over it. There are too many people who don't want to accept that it is possible. Is it because they would have to accept that TB has done what no-one thought he could? Until it is physically impossible to win we should have faith in TB and the team and believe that it can be done.
  16. I for one will be waiting the outcome of this case as it reminds me of a thread not so long ago. "English cvnts" "English w0nkers" Pretty much along the same lines don't you think? If one is found to be racist by the courts then surely the other is? What do you think DornochCaley? The fact the County fan was charged is proof enough for me that it is not acceptable to use these expressions.
  17. This may seem like suck eggs time but has she deleted them from the recycle bin? If not just restore them from there. There are cases when the files may have just been permanently deleted without going to the recycle bin but it's worth a try.

  19. I'd say R.H lane Mrs ICTFC.... These lanes are very badly drawn on that roundabout. Entering from Tesco, and exiting on to Old Perth Rd, can be an absolute nightmare.... you need eyes in the back of your head for that manoevre. Left lane for that one although many drivers use the right! There are advance signs before the roundabout to show what lane to use, have a close look next time. If we are talking entering from Raigmore direction on Old Perth Rd and exiting along St Walter Scott Drive in between Tesco and the police station then I would have to agree with Johnboy on this, you are turning right so you would be in the right hand lane. Left lane is for turning left or straight on. I am going to look at this sign you mention tomorrow and will apologise if you are right but I can't see it being as you say.
  20. Ithink if things keep going like this, there will be a lot of people eating humble pie come the end of the season. :021:

  22. Think about it - Less drivers + no bad drivers (ie - 95% of women) = crashless society. And that would also knock old women drivers out too (the worst of them all). Perhaps parts of Afghanistan? On ye go! I thought Saudi Arabia had banned female drivers (one of the few things they've got right! :P ) As the song say "there may be trouble ahead" :P
  23. I hope you never use it on your own as it is an offence to drive/park with a blue badge displayed unless the badge holder is in the car, unless as you stated you are dropping off/collecting the badge holder. I'm sure that's what you meant.
  24. Totally agree with what you say Jnr but please don't tar all 4x4 drivers with the same brush. I have a discovery but am considerate and careful when driving. My biggest beef is people who park in disabled bays without a blue badge. I am registered disabled and have a badge to allow me to use the disabled bays. If I am having a good day I won't use the bays in case someone behind me needs it more. If I have a bad day I need that space as I struggle to walk any distance without suffering a great amount of pain and discomfort. I was just exiting comet at the retail park when a van pulled up into the bay next to me, so I watched to see if he was entitled to park there. He wasn't!! When I challenged him he replied that he was just picking up some shopping from Comet. I explained that it was a disabled bay for disabled people not for loading. He wasn't bothered until I started to get louder and people started to gather and listen. Eventually after me expressing my disgust at his lack of consideration and other people agreeing with me he moved his van rather red faced with embarrassment. I feel this is the only way to tackle people like this as nothing seems to be done by the law or security at the retail park. I actually mentioned cars parking in the disabled bays to Tesco security and was told there was nothing they could do about it. Probably couldn't be arsed with the aggro.
  25. This post makes a lot of sense but can I ask you one question? Did the magnificent catfish in your avatar go back into the water? Of course it did, as do all the fish I catch apart from the odd trout which I will take for my dinner.
