"This thread seems to be populated largely by angry and abusive young men, so I have this advice to offer. It's the hormones, lads, and you'll eventually grow out of it, and become pleasant young adults. In the meantime, try to find yourself a nice girl to go out with. That might calm you down! What you really need is sex, but one thing at a time . . ." I wish I was a young man but I'm 42, grown out of it and am a very pleasant old man, I'm married, have sex whenever I like. :025: I speak from experience when I post. During my time in the army I worked on the doors of a club in Germany. For 10 years I ran riot and will admit that at some times I was the sort of bouncer that I now dispise, ie batter now ask questions later. Since this I have calmed down and can see life from the other side. There is no need to abuse people verbally or otherwise all the time. So when I see Dornoch Caley spouting his vile rantings on here I feel I must speakout because some others are just too polite to do it. PS: Cheers Gordy for your PM, I agree totally. PPS: Georgeios, I don't believe you are quoting Boyzone lyrics :025:

"Right, so you are saying you would be very rude to a 16 year old? What a hard man. Maybe i wouldnt be polite either. Maybe i should tell you what i really think of you. But no, im not a complete dick. But i bet you love starting petty arguments with "foul mouthed youths" as we have been called so many times." Your age has nothing to do with it, you abuse everybody on here without worrying about their age. I must disagree you are a complete dick. Are you a foul mouthed yob? 1. "Atleast we give support to the club unlike people like you who just sit on their fat arses!" 2. "I have one thing to say....GTF BUTCHER!" 3 "Do you constantly have to be a complete ****? " 4 " I didnt say we support the club MORE. And if i did at some point. Thats not what i ment. We try our fecking best. Stop getting on at us. What the feck would you lot of fecking arseholes do without us. What a fecking embarassment our club would be without us. We take alot of stick off other clubs fans because there are so few of us yet we still go on. It would help if more joined in FFS! Feck im pissed off now! " And this is just from 1 topic if I went though the whole board I could find hundreds of examples that says YES you are a foul mouthed youth and please stop using the "I'm only 16" excuse for everything. "I'm only 16, I don't start the songs I just join in, Would you be rude to a 16yr old?" etc. If you were my 16yr old I wouldn't just be rude to you, I'd batter some respect into you. (Quick call the PC brigade.) Your whole attitude sucks, you have nothing good to say to anyone. Why don't you do us all a favour and crawl back under your rock.

"If I was crap at my job, I'd be out of a job. A fair days wage for a fair days work? How many at TCS could put their hands on their heart and say they did a good job?" My point is that it would be down to your boss to sort it out not for the customer to come in and shout personal abuse at you. If the boss didn't sort it then the customer would go above him to get action but he shouldn't just berate you himself. He can of course show his dis-pleasure but in a civilised way. The emphesis being on civilised, we are supposed to be supporters of the club but we are playing our part in bringing it down. Would you want to go to work if you knew that you were going to be subjected to the sort of stuff that they do? Now I know football is a different world to working on the checkouts of tesco or anywhere else but it is still someones job and when they are **** at it they need constructive critiscism not just personal abuse. I don't mean be all mamby pamby with them but have some respect. If you want to show your disgust why not get a petition going gather a couple of thousand sigs and submit it to the board, stage a protest before a game or some other practical show of distain instead of lowering the whole standard of support to the level that players don't want to play for us.

"Are you insinuating that i am bitter and twisted? I dont think self pride has anything to do with it. We are on an online forum. Get a grip. I think its a bit more than self pride for you. I think its more you just want an excuse to start an argument with me so that you look good infront of all these people on an ONLINE forum. It would be a bit diffrent if we were all face-to-face. " You, bitter and twisted? never. I have no need to look good in front of anyone, I just respect what others think. Yes it would be different if we were face to face, I wouldn't be so polite.

It has nothing to do with being sensitive it is all about self pride. I do care what people think about me because I care about myself and the image I portray to others. Maybe thats the military coming out in me or maybe I'm just normal and not all bitter and twisted like some.

"To be fair, i dont care what people think of me personally" And here lies the problem. Maybe if you did people may react slightly different to you and what you post. Just a thought.

Whilst I agree that TB is at fault here and will probably have to go before things get better, I can kind of simpathise with him in regards to reacting to the fans. I tried to put myself in his shoes and thought, imagine if I worked in a public job for example in a shop. I'm crap at my job and a customer starts swearing at me and slagging me off. Do I sit there and take it or do I rip him a new a*sehole? I'm sorry but I'd go for the latter. Now I know that he earns lots of money and all that sort of stuff but he's only human. It's up to the board to discipline him not the fans. Yes, show him we're not happy but surely we can do that without telling him to Eff off and some of the other sh1te that gets aimed towards him. I also believe that the players although partly at fault will not get better while they are getting the abuse that they are currently receiving. I know I would not bother coming out onto the pitch after hearing some of the comments shouted at them. Don't get me wrong we shouldn't be cheering them either with the displays being shown at the moment but for god's sake we're not animals and nor are they. Respect is a 2 way street, if we don't give TB and the team some they will not perform for us. WOULD YOU? Rant over

New 5 A Side/sports Centre At Inshes
Smee, my good man I would have to agree with you on this one. I was bought up in Australia/South Africa on farms and no we weren't skint but on the other hand we weren't rich either but we always found things to do and I don't just mean farming. SOME kids nowdays just don't want to do anything apart from PS, Xbox and Wii. An example: Today I was going to Aberdeen to have one of my bikes tested by VOSA and the 15 yr old son of a friend was going to come with me to help load/unload the bike. When I turned up to pick him up he was in his bed and not wanting to come because he was "not well". His mother told me as soon as he saw the car he ran upstairs and jumped into bed and I'm sure as soon as I left he was back down on his Xbox. Now he could have had a nice day out chatting about bikes, I would have bought him lunch and slipped him ?20 for helping me. Instead he stayed in front of the TV on his Xbox. So all those that go on about nothing to do seem to think they were the only ones that were teenagers. Newsflash: us older folk weren't born 40. Anyway rant over, F%$%$%$^&ing brats who needs em?

Mantis, I can assure you that I do not have a chip on my shoulder regards England. I am just as much pro Scotland as I am England sometimes probably more so. I merely stated that normally on a thread about Engand (football team) the posts would be less than flattering. It was meant as I have previously stated as a tongue in cheek comment. I can't find anything wrong with post 51, someone mentioned neighbourly rivalry and I merely stated that I would not like Joe as my neighbour if those were his views, again slightly tongue in cheek but obviosly not taken that way. I did realise that he was probably not serious with his post which is why I posted as I did. If I thought he was serious I wouldn't have dignified it with a response. You state that in post 51 that I'm tarring you all with the same brush, please let me know how you came to this conclusion from what was written. It mentions Joe DiMaggio and no-one else. If it has caused offence to you or any others I do apologise as none was meant but to be honest with you I don't really see how it could. I was going to stick a smilie here but it might be misconstrued so I won't bother.

Smee, Out of curiosity how old are you? This is not meant in any way to offend just curious. My "emergency appeal" joke was exactly that, a joke and if anyone was offended by it I will gladly appologise to them on here and even face to face if so wished. It was posted as a bit of fun and I'm sure that most on here are mature enough to realise that. Dam, I'm sure there is mate but I will be the first to say it's wrong. I live in Scotland, Scottish wife, love being in Scotland and everything Scottish, well pretty much anyway. When I posted my first post of this thread it was meant as a bit of fun as a tongue in cheek poke at the way people moan about the English hype. Unfortunately certain people proved my point. Heilandee, I agree with you. I think the British/English media do go over the top but why do so many Scots let it get them riled? Why not as I mentioned earlier let it go and enjoy Englands downfall when it comes?

"yet...its ok for you to take the P1ss out of those from south west scotland in your emergency appeal thread eh?" For f*cks sake Smee get a life.

England look the business
Kev I agree with everything you have just posted. It must be boring for Scots to listen to English go on about the team and their chance of glory etc etc. My point is though, they're not spouting anti Scottish rants all the time. They don't sit on MOTD slagging off the Scottish team, they merely get carried away with all the hype. So why must the Scottish always slag them off for this? Why not just let them get on with it and enjoy the moment when England get knocked out of the competition. As you have just stated everybody is entitled to their own opinions and the English are just stating theirs. They are not hurting anybody with these opinions or insulting anybody, so whats the problem? As to my boring and old hat comment, come on you must admit that the old "support anybody that plays them" line is wearing a bit thin. As I mentioned earlier I don't expect you to follow England but following their opponents is a bit childish really.
-
England look the business
"i will be giving my backing to whoever they play" Sounds anti English to me "I suppose i am racist and biggoted too eh?" No that's DornachCaley's pleasure. Don't get me wrong Smee, I don't expect you to be glued to the TV to support England but all this support anybody that plays England is so old hat and boring and a tad immature.
-
England look the business
That's better, that's more like the typical anti English drivel that I expect.
-
England look the business
I must admit I'm quite surprised. Not at how well England are doing but by how sensible this thread is. I expected to read all the usual anti everything English drivel that normally gets posted on a Scottish board but was pleasantly surprised. That said school is still in at the moment, I'm sure it'll change later. England as said are a QF/SF team but when you get to that stage anything can happen. They are playing with a belief that has missing for years. They still have a few players to come back to strengthen the side which will hopefully make tham stronger. Now obviously we can't tell if all will be fit next year but if they do manage to have a full strength squad I do think they will be there or there abouts come the end of the tournament. No that isn't me jumping on the all things England bandwagon, it's just being realistic that this will be the best chance they have had for years. PS: Yes I'm English but I live in Scotland, support Scotland and as my wife says I'm a plastic jock. So this isn't the ravings of a do or die Englishman falling for all the hype.

"What the Feck are you talking about? You may aswell wrote in German because the only words that made sense was the swearing. " DornochCaley, read your last post again and then realise how much of a prat you are. You have the gaul to rip people for their English and then come out with this crap. You really are something else. :P
