Cup Final ticket sales
Hardly matters. What does matter is how many we take to Glasgow...

Caley Thistle Score New Victorian Market Shop
Great initiative. Will it also be selling match tickets ? Could produce a few impulse buys from those who are unlikely to buy online or from the stadium.

Terry Butcher
To be honest, I don't sense there is much if any ongoing bitterness over his departure. We have moved on and moved on successfully since then.

Stop Press tonight is the NFL drawt
Whilst not quite there myself yet, in my experience, there is nothing intrinsically boring about being an OAP. Many of the most interesting, stimulating and intelligent people I know fall into that category. Some of the more senior posters on this site are shining examples of that. Whether one is boring or not is all about individual attitude and character and has very little to do with miles on the clock.....

Montrose
Hi Ender You know probably more than most others the standard of non league football in England is very good as your team Chorley have shown us You could say that if Chorley were playing north of the border they would probably be too good for league 1 But you may know different I say again I just feel for long suffering football supporters like Montrose who nobody seems to care about. In the league formerly called the Conference there are a lot of teams, who for many years graced the higher divisions, I would be gutted if I supported a team like Grimsby or Lincoln City. All with good support and important histories. But in Scotland the league to which there is a possibility Montrose will enter is not much better than the Sunday league outfits we all played for in our teens. Of course you are right. Even the upper echelons of Scottish football are on a par with English pub teams and I wouldn't fancy ICT's chances against the Dog and Duck at Penkridge over two legs. I blame those naive, unintelligent xenophobic separatists

The 2015 William Hill Scottish Cup Final
I can't agree. This is the national cup final. It's a once in twenty years occasion for us and a pretty rare occasion for our opponents. The 'cheap seats' are no more expensive than we charge for a walk up to the Main Stand for a routine league match with concessions a good deal cheaper. The clubs each need to be fair to their fans, which I believe they have, but need to balance that by trying to maximise their income from the cup success with a view to being solvent and perhaps enhancing the playing budget just a little over the next couple of seasons.

Montrose
Rubbish. They are not being consigned to the dustbin. Despite finishing rock bottom of the SPFL they have the lifeline of a play off. If after that, they are unable to beat the most successful non league team of the season it's only fair that that team takes their place. The Scottish League was for over a century a closed shop and it's not as if Montrose will then be locked out as aspiring Highland clubs were for over a hundred years. They have the opportunity to return the very next season but only if they prove themselves good enough. I believe the term is sporting merit.

Edward Ofere
Surely has to be worth at least a full season next year. Should probably do so sooner rather than later. If he keeps up this scoring rate we will soon be priced out of the market.

Can we please leave the paranoia and conspiracy theories to Celtic and other Ugly Sister. No conspiracy just yet another c#ck up by the Scottish football authorities.

Compliance Officer / Justice for Meekings
I was surprised but pleased that the independent panel had the guts, integrity and common sense to bring this farce to an end. However, as for the officials, we need to take a long hard look at who is administering our game and how it's administered. Leaving aside the motivation for raising this matter in the first place, the great and the good running our game failed to anticipate the scorn and derision rightly directed at our game for being the only national association in the World to take this course just as they failed to anticipate, until very recently, that constantly talking down and belittling the game in this country would deter potential blue chip sponsors just a tad and just as they failed to anticipate that we fans would feel beyond aggrieved by the plan to parachute the Rangers Newco straight into the SPL. The likes of Jim Farry and Ernie Walker had their faults and idiosyncrasies but well regarded and respected internationally and, as a result, so was Scottish football. The current CEOs of both the SFA and the League are, with justification, seen in a much poorer light and, as a consequence, so is our game. The Meekings farce is just the latest symptom of this long running malaise and it must surely be time for change at the very top of both structures. Surely it's time now for change...
