What do they think now?
With all due respect to your Facebook friends 'most of those who attended Caley Park and kingsmills(sic)' were having the time of their footballing lives at Hampden. Those bitter few who chose to stay at home and seethe were the losers in every sense of the word..

The big Europa adventure thread
A few journalists might want to travel too...although the seat next to Chick Young would need to be heavily discounted.

He's called FakeFan - must be a hint there somewhere. Maybe doogull has forgotten his login details. Anyway, don't feed the trolls. My name, is FakeFan but I'm a inverness born and bred ict fan. Genuinely wanting to know how these people feel. Then you better ask them....This is a site for fans of ICT

Sorry this doesn't look right
I agree entirely with Caley D. This poster has come to try to have a debate and has made his point in a reasoned and non confrontational way. Instead of extending a warm Highland welcome some have really been quite poor in their response. Is every supporter of every other club who wants to post now to be branded 'a troll'. If so, it's a poor show and the site will be the worse for it. Do we really want to turn CTO into a Gaidhealtachd version of Pie and Bovril ?

What do they think now?
'Has it been asked already ? !!' I appreciate you're new but the answer is about a hundred times (literally) and the same suspects make the same points, some of them once interesting and valid ones, each and every time and winning the Champions League, never mind the Scottish Cup, wouldn't change their minds. Luckily, the vast majority, although many still have fond memories of Kingsmills and Telford Street (surely the only ground in the UK to have boasted mature elm trees on the terracing ) have moved on and are basking in the reflected glow of ICT's huge triumphs. Let those who aren't seethe in private while the rest of us get on with the basking....

Contract Situation
Disagree about Kink. He had half a season to get himself match fit. The problem seemed to be lack of skill and commitment rather than lack of fitness. Can't see anything to be gained by offering him a salary for another half season. Yogi had plenty of time to assess him and clearly, like most fans, was unimpressed.

The big Europa adventure thread
Financially, Europa is a burden until you get to the group stages. Maybes Aye, maybes nah. Depends who we are drawn against, how far we have to travel and whether we can pack the place out for our home tie(s). Not a fortune to be made but there may be scope for a modest profit.

What positions do we need to recruit?
Agree. We can't start next season without at least one experienced striker.
- Inverness CT -V- Falkirk (Cup Final)

Any news on Watkins?
Sadly, one look at their first team squad would suggest otherwise.
-
Contract Situation
Whether Eddie or someone else, an experienced striker is a priority. We can, at a pinch, cover every other position with what we've got.

Ian Vigurs
Is a player not considered by the team finishing eleventh good enough to be offered a new contract good enough to improve the team finishing third ?

What positions do we need to recruit?
No Want a BET on that ?

What positions do we need to recruit?
As far as experienced cover for Esson until Brill is fit again is concerned, Mark Brown has been released by County. We could do worse than offer his a short term contract. Would just have to make sure we didn't concede any penalties.....

Any news on Watkins?
Aberdeen Caledonian Thistle. Aberdeen Thistle Caledonian does a half decent pint....

Replacement Striker?
......but he would arrive match fit....
-
Replacement Striker?
After all the effort made recently to encourage decent local families to support the team, do you seriously suggest we consider recruiting a convicted rapist who remains, for very sound reasons, on the Sex Offenders Register ?......

Craig Samson gets Scotland call up
No Esson plays in the Highlands and, like Shinnie, be overlooked because Strachan has myopia and can't see that far North...

John Hughes, I owe you an apology ..........
Maybe once we win the league next season..........

Capitalising on the Cup Win
Agree. The kids are the future. Wasn't in Inverness in the build up but I told that there were, for once, more kids going around wearing ICT tops than Celtic or The Rangers tops. We need to capitalize on that and make it a permanent state of affairs. When the only Old Firm tops in display in town are worn by (misguided) adults the future will be ours. It may take another decade but the initiative needs to be seized now...
