  1. I thought that they did well for such a young club in their first final. Held a club from a higher division for almost 120 minutes.
  2. Either that or we need to reach more semi finals.
  3. They are doing something. They are highlighting the behaviour and their disgust at it in the principal online forum for fans to voice such concerns. The OP seems enrolled specifically to make this very important point. For that, she deserves credit rather than criticism.

I too am a Yogi doubter who, despite the difficult times at the begining and middle of his tenure, expressed no similar doubts about Butcher. I too think Hughes is a decent amiable enough man and I'd be delighted to be proved wrong. There seem to be those who view expressing concerns about how the manager is going about his business and about his previous history as being somehow disloyal to the club. No such thing, whether we are right or wrong, the vast majority of us comment in what we sincerely believe to be in the club's interests.
  5. Yip. Great to see the Highland League title in the Highlands.
  6. As far as I'm aware nobody boycotted the game. Some of us didn't go.
  7. So rather than posting on this thread to condemn the sick shameful chants and those who were responsible you have twice now posted to be critical of those who were offended but may have been too far from or felt too intimidated by those mindless yobs to intervene personally. Those brave enough to intervene should be applauded. Those who might have felt themselves to frightened to confront those intimidating individuals have every right to comment on this forum without it being suggested that they were cowards or hypocrites for not acting at the time.
  8. There is nothing positive about vile insensitive personal abuse of this nature. Racist comments were once considered 'football banter'. Thankfully, that attitude has long since been consigned to history. High time this sort of thing went the same way.

    A very good question.
  10. Not there last night but there were similar chants last time in Dingwall. Shameful.

If Hughes learns from tonight and now plays to the players' strengths he will be on the way to redeeming himself. I have a little more hope now but, given his past record, I remain to be convinced.
  12. At least we have taken something from everyone.
  13. That was some seethe even by DA's standards. Very close to bringing the game into disrepute in my view.
  14. Will Yogi be 'educated' by that result and performance ?
  15. Do you think Adams will be praising the ref ?
  16. Tremarco off and Christie on might be an idea for keeping eleven on the pitch.
  17. Next week ? Can't even rule out him changing it at half time.
  18. Why only six subs ? Surely if there's a space on the bench that's an opportunity for a youngster to sample the big match experience even if there's no intention of bringing him on.
  19. Confidence and having fallen out of the winning habit may be an issue.
  20. He was awarded Chairman of the Year for overseeing the prudent financial stewardship of the club. There may have been an error in the managerial appointment but that much has not changed.
  21. Not sure the title of this thread is going to be too appropriate come half past nine.

I have to say that what he's done is concerning but what he's saying is even more worrying.
  23. Very broad minded myself and it's entirely your own business but for how long have you had an interest in the laddies ?
