Should Hughes be SACKED?
Talking about waiting until the summer, maybe, with the benefit of hindsight, we should have delayed the appointment of a new manager until the summer. I doubt our record post Butcher would have been any worse and might have been a good deal better with the coaching staff simply maintaining the status quo.

Should Hughes be SACKED?
Just why would Yogi walk ? Where on earth do you think he would get another job in football ?

Offensive Behaviour at Football.
A valid post and one I entirely agreed with until the utterly illogical and irrational attempt to cite the actions of a number of idiots as an argument against independence. The no camp make some spurious points but that just about takes the biscuit.

I can even tie my own shoe laces! A gentle reminder to both of you not to descend into personal abuse.

Should Hughes be SACKED?
Whilst we disagree about the moral obligation to Hughes, you are right about the relatively low cost of parting company. Given the parties', relative negotiating positions at the time of appointment, our commercially astute board will have ensured that was the case.

Should Hughes be SACKED?
I believe that appointing Hughes was a mistake and have from the outset but surely, having appointed him and given him a two and a half year deal, the club have some moral obligation to stick by him at least for next season.

Should Hughes be SACKED?
Hughes has been a financial boon to the club. Just think how much we have saved on win bonuses since he arrived.

Celtic -V- Inverness C.T.
If Hibs survive Butcher will improve them next season. I am seriously trying to identify two clubs who are likely to be below as next season. I think County will do better than us and also Dundee under their progressive young manager. Maybe Kilmarnock and St Mirren will save our bacon.

Should Hughes be SACKED?
Of course, how could a club of our size and resources ever think of going away to Celtic and winning or even securing a draw. Impossible even to contemplate and it must be down to Yogi's tactical astuteness that we kept the score to a very respectable six.

Why on earth not put some kids on the bench if only for the experience particularly at Parkhead.

Rangers Financial Disaster Mark Two
To be fair, so are a number of teams. We tend to be slow off the mark as far as season ticket marketing is concerned.

Rangers Financial Disaster Mark Two
Not often the words 'fair play' appear in a discussion about The Rangers.

Rangers Financial Disaster Mark Two
They have also spent more in less than 2 years than the original Rangers spent in their first 100......including the cost of flute bands.

Rangers Financial Disaster Mark Two
I almost choked when I heard Sandy Easdale being interviewed on BBC Scotland when he said 'Rangers are unlikely to survive a second administration'. Has nobody told him they didn't survive the first one ? What was worse was that the fawning BBC reporter didn't have the integrity to correct him. Seems like the outrageous hounding of Jim Spence for stating the truth had the intended effect on the BBC. Looking at that report and the astonishing financial mess this latest incarnation of The Rangers, have got themselves into in so short a time administration seems likely and liquidation entirely possible. The latter possibility raises two questions. Firstly; Given the serial offending and financial mismanagement by three different owners of two separate companies should any Rangers mark III be given a licence to operate by the SFA at all ? Secondly; If they are licensed, where should they start out ? Given the restructuring with the pyramid system coming on stream next season, surely that's going to have to be the Lowland League.
