  1. This one fully intends to ?
  2. Not convinced that it was the right decision given the weather forecast. However, now that it has passed a pitch inspection, every effort should be made to get it played to avoid the team and the hardy band of travelling fans from being inconvenienced and out of pocket again
  3. Sensibly early.
  4. There has to be a balance. Of course fans matter and are the lifeblood of the game. However, even with the limited amount we get in the Championship, our club could not sustain full time football without it. Far from ideal but a necessary evil.
  5. I agree with that but, at the same time, it also shows what an important player Ridgers has become for us. Let's hope that he is fit for Tuesday.
  6. Just noticed the crowd of almost six thousand. Well done to the people of Falkirk from a population base less than ours. If only the people of Inverness were as supportive of their club.
  7. Our season in microcosm. Taking and then squandering the lead not once but twice. Very disappointing against a team so lacking in form and confidence. Odd that OFW's "injury" didn't trouble him when he was in the United States. The sooner we get that waste of the biggest salary at the club off the wage bill the better.
  8. The BBC are the public service broadcaster for the whole of the UK funded by licence fees from us all. When they have the rights to show live FA Cup matches they, without giving it a second thought, broadcast that match throughout the UK thus giving exposure to the clubs, tournament and sponsors generating income for all three. Surely, given their public service remit, they should do the same for the Scottish Cup and the Scottish game. Instead they pay salaries to Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer which, in combination, amount to, more or less, what they invest in total in our game.
  9. Didn't you notice, we began the process a fortnight ago against Ayr ?
  10. A decent young player with Premiership experience. Should be a reasonable addition to the squad.
  11. Not sure that the good people of Arbroath would agree that their club is a nonentity. There is going to be some hold up at the Longman roundabout when the North and South Stands rev up their engines and drive off elsewhere.
  12. Actually, come to think about it, the SFA are a model of consideration for the interests of fans compared to the SPFL who took about two months after the draw was made to give us any sort of clue about the day and time our Challenge Cup semi final would be played.
  13. If he is anything like as good as either he will prove an excellent signing especially on the money we have available.
  14. We have been shafted before with the likes of having to play Hearts in semi finals in their home city and ridiculously early semi final kick off times in Glasgow. Compared to that, although not ideal, this one is not too bad. For those living in and around Inverness there should be plenty if time to finish work and make the short journey ORB. In my opinion, there should be no talk of a boycott and those who can should get there in large numbers to act as twelfth man to help the team to victory. Three times this season we have matched our much wealthier neighbours and were very unfortunate to lose the last derby. This is one we can definitely win and a large and vocal away crowd will certainly help.
  15. No substitute for being there in my opinion. We could all have watched the cup final on television but it wouldn't have been a tenth of the experience of actually being there.
  16. It's another poor show by the SFA but a boycott will achieve nothing other than depriving the club of revenue and the fans of watching what could be a highly entertaining match.
  17. Not often we manage to sign a player when there is competition so well done to the club and the player in risking turning full time at a relatively mature age. Hopefully, with the TV money we will get from the cup game, we can bring in at least one more before the window closes and push on for a play off place at the very least.
  18. Four, you're forgetting the quarter final replay ?
  19. I see a number of posts suggesting it might be on TV. I don't see any posts wanting it to be on TV.
  20. You forget, it's the SFA we are talking about. When have they ever had regard to the interests of the fans. We are only the lifeblood of the game but who, in authority, gives a toss about us?
  21. Not great for me. Might be watching from the sofa. An extra £83,000 in the coffers. Hopefully, that means we can bring in at least one more decent addition to the squad before the window closes.
  22. No North Stand is better than a bad North Stand.
  23. Not convinced that our signing policy should be based on avoiding players you have never heard of.
  24. Probably the best post of the year so far. Well said. Leaving aside his medical difficulties the boo boys seem to neglect the fact that he is our top scorer into double figures with almost half the league season to go. If he is reading this thread, he should appreciate that 98% of ICT fans are fully behind him and the small but vocal minority who are not are never happy unless they are moaning about something or somebody.
  25. Can we get back on topic please.
