any idea how many we have shifted? we are attending as a family of 5 ?

I’m guessing nearly our entire allocation handed. At a pure shot in the dark, I’m saying maybe 20,000 to 30,000.  Maybe a bit less.....

What is our tally for leading league goals scored this year?

(Letting Oakley go seems like an even bigger mistake now.)

7 goals by Jordan White in the league, 7 in the cup.

Pfft. Don't bother emailing them. They never respond.

Sent them an Email in November 2017, after that pure bullsh*ttery of a game against St Mirren, where every decision was against us (might be cos I'm a sore loser, or maybe because it was actually fixed, I don't know). Dropped them a line saying "Hey, can you look into this, something is obviously fishy about this game"...and I still haven't received a response...

I wouldn’t respond to that either tbh

  4. Hampden all day long please! Its the Scottish Cup Semi Final! I’ll always remember the game against Dunfermline and what a feeling it was seeing Paul Ritchie score at the national stadium.  It will really diminish it if it’s sent to poxy Mcdairmid Park.

The Travel Club fund raise to ensure fans can go to all away games to support ICT.   Buses cost money - the fares are low due to the fundraising by a few loyal fans, the Club and players appreciate the travelling fans.  What’s your problem with that?

So you disagree they could try and raise money at games? I don’t quite understand why. Surely anything made by using buckets would be beneficial.

  6. I’d be interested in something like this possibly. I’d actually like there to be a kind of kids club for the younger fans, pay a certain amount each month and they get a little in return.  It wouldn’t need to be value for money but just some sort of interaction for the kids, a personal message from the mascot, stickers, badges etc and free entry for kid and adult to something like a summer friendly etc.

Find it bizarre that any ICT fan is considering going to this game irrespective of what end they go in.

If you've got the cash burning in your pocket get along to the Partick game on the Friday or buy an ICT strip or just do something to support the club. They need the cash and far better you put it directly into the club itself some other way than going to a game that has nothing to do with ICT even if it is being held at our ground.

Mantis I’m surprised you’ve agreed to this, you probably go to more neutral games than anyone here.

I go to see lots of neutral football games when my own team isn’t near by or not playing at all. The game will be on tv though so that will be good enough for me.

Something not quite right here, we sign a crock in exchange for a young player with promise (I will say no more than that) and said crock has retired from football what is going on? Have I missed something?

Would you rather us double his wages then I take it? He wasn’t even good for us!

At his age that would be shocking BUT is it not his right / responsibility to make such an announcement - if again it is true.

Where is he to announce this? Those written notepad messages on twitter are cringe.

  11. My expectations were to improve on last season, I would be aiming for getting into the playoffs. I don’t think we are there yet for promotion but that is where we need to be aiming.

I forgot how much I enjoyed The rants from Thurso so I’d be ok with us going into a bit more turmoil just for that.

"Afford" is often used in a very subjective manner; especially in scenarios like this.  I don't believe for a second that Jake would have been demanding/commanding a wage which was not affordable to the club, but I do accept that the manager/club decided that he wouldn't have given them acceptable value for money...even if I do disagree with it.

I don’t see how we could afford to double his wages.

I would be pretty amazed and shocked if he went this late in the transfer window, unless we get a swap deal with another player from the team signing him.  I am expecting a quiet day tomorrow, nobody in and nobody out :).

It’s a quiet day in Thurso everyday.
