I agree entirely.
What are the rules for Colts teams? Can they field a limited number of over 21s? As their league game is off today, could that mean we face a tougher team tomorrow?
No inspection planned according to the club’s Twitter feed.
Doran and Toshney trained yesterday so may be available. I didn’t know Toshney had been injured.
Potentially two over 21s? Not quite sure on the rules.

Just to clarify my position here...
I'm actually a huge advocate for Friday Night Football and would switch all Scottish football to a Friday night (why is a discussion for elsewhere)....it's just that this particular date is not appealing for me.
People just like to moan at change though don’t they.

Tannadice or dens may be used
Most likely in Perth. With Scotland playing around that time there is no Premiership matches. Dundee are at home on the day of the final so doubt they’d have it there.

Happy with this one. Love a game on a Friday night! Here we go

I enjoyed the 1-0 over Celtic. The terracing was a class atmosphere and standing 10 yards away from Larsson seemed surreal. Enjoyed the GIRUYs to the Invernesian Celtic fans I knew who were in our end at the end of the match.
There was a random Celtic fan beside me in the main stand that night. Jumped up and down hugging him and made him join in too once we went 1-0 up.

I remember being out in the open wings of the main stand for the Partick game and the weather was absolutely brutal. The 2-2 game in Maryhill was class though.

Could we not play them right back ? Right back to where we got them from

Didn’t know until yesterday that BSC Glasgow groundshare with Alloa, so there is the possibility of going to the same ground 2 rounds in a row. I’d be happy with that one.
Used to work with one of their players and been to a couple games. They used to Share with Junior side Maryhill, after they got kicked out they were struggling to find another team to groundshare. They have a very poor fan base and playing out of Alloa doesn’t help.

Bit of a late reply, but they're doing another one, this time the 1997-98 kit.
Again, not finalised design, assuming Le Coq Sportif logo is still being worked on (to either dodge copyright infringement or to get their permission), and badge has been fixed, not quite the same, but better than what it initially was.
£37, same guys as before, but unsure as to when it'll be available, probably February, judging by the last ones announcement to final product time scale
I’ve still got mine, still fits however the collar is constantly turned up which ruins it a little.

Christ the old badge is massive
Yeah it’s ridiculous, at least this new top has been modernised but still has the retro feel to it.

Yeah, I dropped them a DM, said theyre working on fixing both before it's put into production
I’d rather it was a smaller badge, it looks much better like that.
-
Cheers for recommending this, I’ve had a quick look and quite like the look of a few of the tops. We don’t even sell the 94 kit anymore or a retro version similar so I wouldn’t ever feel bad about buying something like this.

He stopped going a good while back and doesn't attend (or put money into) any game that comes under the banner of the corrupt SFA/SPFL
What’s corrupt about the SFA/SPFL

Yeah I see myself looking out for the Fort William scores now after watching the documentary and with all our youth players there.

Just a bit of fun. Let’s name our best Scottish XI v Rest of the World XI

Duncan Black
Wilson Christie Robson

Raven Meekings Warren Hastings
Draper Tansey
Foran Hayes
McKay RooneyAnyone noticeable that I am missing?
Who would win?

Reguero
Piermayr Bulvitis Mihadjuks Djebi-Zadi
Paataleinen Xausa Juanjo
Niculae Ofere Agdestein
it looks like we are really short of central midfielders. Any ideas? Regardless that team is no where near as good as the first non Scottish team I put up.

Whilst I agree that the club is being seen to be taking some action, because of a small minority of unruly visiting 'away fans', surely, especially for the probable, even fewer number, who will travel north for this next 'minor' cup game, just sticking them in a far corner of the uncovered main stand would have been enough. Then we could all have prayed to the rain Gods!! Opening the South stand for a handful of visiting fans does not make economical sense.
Agreed, I’ve sat countless times away from home fans with similar distances before and there hasn’t been an issue. It all seems a little over the top to me.
-
They’ve sat in the same place for over 20 years, I don’t think it’s a big deal. Let’s not get annoyed because some fans would like to stand up at a football game

The Challenge Cup has a place but its also a failed opportunity for a lower league competition to be done better. Generally clubs within this comp are out of the LC & SC early doors so its great it provides a platform for those clubs and fans to maybe win a trophy, something they would otherwise miss out on.
Where it could be better utilised is by having group stages similar to LC - afterall we are in mid Aug, all but 1 team outwith the Premiership are out of the LC , which is common most seasons. Therefore have the CC with some additions from HL & LL plus the colts but excluding the teams from elsewhere with groups and keep it regional and give the fans some games on midweeks and LC wknds for the next month or so while we still have good weather. This gives the opportunity for more game time, teams to gel and also a bit of squad rotation which can only aid youth development.
Can’t complain with that.

It's a nonsense cup I will say it before we crash out and I'm far from a happy clapper.
How exactly is it a nonsense cup? I really like the Challenge cup and hope we go all the way this year.
