It wouldn’t stop me if I was up in Inverness though. Book some accommodation down in Glasgow on the Saturday night and make a great weekend of it. This games not coming around again any time soon. I will savour every moment of the build up this time.

To be honest it suits me. Gives us a better build up on the day. Obviously I can see why people up north would object but it’s better than the early kickoff which I was almost all but conceding to.

I know it’s been said before but I just don’t get it. They should be in with the rest of the fans and building an atmosphere rather than ostracising themselves in the west stand.

I just think going in as favourites to our first semi is throwing everyone off. It’s harder to enjoy it when you’re expected to win. No one wants to miss out on a Scottish cup final and Falkirk on their day could spoil the party. I hope we get an early goal to settle the nerves and get to really enjoy the occasion. The way the team has played these past 8/9 games they deserve it.

I genuinely feel sick at the thought of this Semi. I know we’ve had a good run of form recently but I can’t help but think what if we lose? Going in as favourites to our first semi final adds so much pressure, and if I’m feeling it then I wonder how the players are coping.

Let’s hope he doesn’t get awarded that until after the Ayr game then!!

Yup, I’ll be cheering on Queen’s Park tonight. It’s too late in the season for that, let’s just secure the playoffs and keep the season going as long as we can.

They play the league below Darvel, who beat Aberdeen (the league above us) in terms of leagues that’s the same. A name change like this should be forever. What’s to say they don’t win a few promotions in the future and we dip a couple? We might not be near them now but could well be in the future.

I could be wrong but I think on the front of the locomotive they have attempted to put a tiny Thistle on it. The badge has been made from free vectors that could have been knocked up in 5 minutes. The whole thing seems lazy and rushed. I can’t see them lasting too long outside of the community identity if honest.

Have you seen Rossvales badge? This might have something to do with the Thistle.
