Dundee getting the jitters?
I disagree and think the pressure is on ICT is well. ICT banked on being back in the SPL next season, I still think its been a successful season regardless but thats what they expected at the start of the season. As the Dundee guy said on another thread everyone has must win games coming up and its not just Dundee, It will be really interesting to see how the next few games go. I think we still have a chance of winning the league but i also think we could blow it and end up in 4th place at the end of the year, its that close and is far too hard to call. I LOVE BEING BACK IN THE FIRST! I don't think i ever felt like this when we were in the SPL, its great to have games to play for that mean something this late in the season.

Proctors playing at right back and Tokely in the center with Bulvitis dropping to the bench, team stays the same apart from this.

Tonight's predictions
Tonight is a must win game for us. Queen's will still be in the running if they lose tonight so ICT have alot more to lose. Hoping Raith can take something from County but i can't see it happening.

SPL ponders expansion plans ....
If the SPL was to change and allow a 16 team league meaning 30 games instead of the usual 38 then why not revamp either the scottish cup or league cup? A 4 team group phase for example. This would start having everyone from the third division right through to the SPL with a seeding system for dividing the groups out. This will add extra games and much needed revenue with the top 2 teams qualifying for the knockout stages which then turns into the regular cup as we know it either half as many teams. Having those extra 8 saturdays off could then mean the League cup could be played on a saturday instead which may also improve crowds for those games.

Judgement Day (Again)?
This is it....anything less than a win and i'm afraid the belief will be gone. Dundee are having their bad spell at the moment but it's not going to last forever, we need to pull them back as fast as we can and thats starting tonight against Queens. If by saturday night we are 3 points behind then we'll be in a great position.

Why do people even use that official website when its hardly ever updated and when it is, the facts are wrong!

Merged: I BELIEVE.
Of course we still have a chance of winning the league, We still have to play Dundee at home which should be 3 points. This means that being 6 points behind (if we win our game in hand on Tuesday night - Judgement Day) Dundee only have to slip up once for us to be 3 points behind and able to win the league on goal difference on the last day of the season. I'm not very confident this will happen but it could and it isn't THAT far fetched to suggest we can do it, i still think Queens and County are doing better than us and are somewhat being ignored for this title run in.

Why do people insist on typing their "accents". Its as bad as text speech.

Judgement Day?
Even if the league is over i've really enjoyed this season so far and can't wait for the following season whether its in the SPL or the first. This little fightback from ICT has started to show me our team is actually fairly decent and hopefully we can keep most of these players to carry this on after the summer.

Dundee -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Its hard to believe it would happen again. Being 2-0 up twice against Dundee and not winning on both occasions is terrible and as someone said before thats not championship winning form, coming back from 2-0 is.

Dundee -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
The Dundee fans thought ICT were quite vocal today. I've heard from a few people the support ranged from 150 to 200, Is this about right?

Dundee -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
While there is no one at the club who could take on the captains role its got to stay with Munro, If age was on McBain or Gollys side then i would have thought they would be contenders but they are on their way out and would be surprised to see them in an ICT shirt next season. I think it can be very disruptive to change a captaincy with the player still remaining at the club so i really can't see Granty stepping down unless he moves on.

Judgement Day?
Judgement Day is now Tuesday night against Queens, It is a must win game now and anything less than that will kill our chances of winning the league. Queens are now above us and have two games in hand against us. If we can win on Tuesday and then against Morton on saturday that'll take us 3 points behind Dundee with the pressure then being on them to beat Ayr the following tuesday :) . There is still alot of hope but its going to be harder than ever now especially with County and Queens both winning today.

Dundee -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Hopefully we can keep the 2 goal lead, Only 25 minutes to go so not as much time to mess things up. As i said before if we win the very important game against Queens on Tuesday and then again against Morton on Saturday we'll go top of the league as Dundee aren't playing. C'MON CALEY!

Butcher and Malpas
This is excellent news, With so many players out of contract next season we really needed someone in right NOW to start thinking about after the summer. Hopefully he can get a few of the top players to sign on for another season.

Shinnie going on loan
I think Andrew Shinnie may be back on loan at Dundee.

Shinnie going on loan
I'm in two minds about this to be honest. It's good that he's going away and getting first team football but its in the Highland league. What other team in the first division sends their youth players out to non league teams? Maybe they do and i'm unaware of this but i think its too far a step down. Whenever we have sent players out in the past they have just been released once they come back. Even when Zander went to Elgin and done excellent he never got a chance to display what we had learned. Once the league has been decided (saying we don't win promotion) then he should be given his chance to prove his worth for next season when the remaining fixtures will be meaningless.

The Final Run In
I have worked out that the top 4 "real" contenders last remaining fixtures and have noticed the following. Dundee only have 5 remaining home matches out of 13 games. Inverness have 8 matches at home remaining in 14 games County have 6 home matches remaining in 15 games Queens have 7 matches remaining in 16 games This IMO means we have the better Home advantage over the last course of the season and Dundee along with Ross County may struggle having all those away games still to play.

Merged: I BELIEVE.
I think the majority of top teams will still be giving everyone a hard game. I do BELIEVE but.... we've only just started to show we can beat the top teams and until we actually beat Dundee, Queens and County then we won't really have a proper idea if we can win the league. Beating Partick was an excellent result and i am now alot more confident about beating these teams. The next two results will be interesting and could determine our season. I'm really starting to enjoy this season and its reminding me of the first division of old.
