Inverness CT -V- Dumbarton
Having witnessed some shocking and depressing ICT performances recently, it was great to experience the feeling of winning a trophy.again! On this season's form (re-inforced by the first 92 and a half minutes), no way we will put a winning run together over the final stretch.........so it's a case of get the season over with and get ourselves in a position to mount a real challenge next season. Well done to all again.

For 92 minutes, that was the worst game of football I had ever witnessed : no shape, skill or much resembling football. Overall we deserved it because of the negative approach of our opponents. Great to have another piece of silverware for the collection : now we need to set our thoughts to next season............

IRN BRU CHALLENGE CUP FINAL
Will be there tomorrow and hoping to see an ICT win. Taking two of my sons and three of my youngest's mates. Up to Robbo, the players and all others with the team to get themselves motivated and ready to win..............the last ICT win I saw (other than a scrappy (League Cup?)win against the Blue Brazil) was the cup final v Falkirk. Have seen some shocking performances since then. Time to start turning the tide.

Inverness CT -V- Falkirk
St Mirren are pretty strong : it would take a bit of a collapse on their part for us to catch them (even if we went on a winning run). Gap is 18 points with only 15 games remaining. Realistically 3rd place (2nd at a stretch as the Arabs are no great shakes) should be our focus and take our chances in the play offs. Last night's convincing win should gives the whole team confidence and lead to an upturn in form.

Falkirk (H) 9th January 2018 - Game On
Agree : although our problem is scoring. If we can start scoring two or three per match, we should make the play offs as the defence is for the most part pretty solid. Mind you, last season, I kept hoping (believing) we would eventually turn it round..............

St Mirren -V- Inverness CT
Spot on my friend. As things stand, we are as close to the relegation play off as we are to promotion play offs. Very disappointing that we are not at least safely tucked into the promotion play off positions (higher the better given the PL weighted system). Far too inconsistent and struggling to beat teams like Brechin and Dumbarton (no disrespect intended).

Brechin -V- Inverness CT
Dodged a bullet there by the sounds of it : losing to Brechin would have been a new low. St Mirren away next : could be a sore one unless our performance level improves : will be there although with no great optimism. Keep plugging away and we might scrape into the play offs, but can't see us going up especially as the system is so heavily weighted in favour of the team which finishes 11th in the Premiership. Only in Scotland could the powers that be devise such a illogical way of doing it.

Queen of the South Preview : 2/12/17
The next 5 matches (up to Hogmanay) are all eminently winnable. My glass is always half full, so here's hoping!!

World Cup Qualifiers
Too much sitting in defending a slim lead : even at 1-1 we carried on in the same vein. Should have played the whole match like we did in the final 10 minutes. ......and too much hit and hope hoofball a la ICT last season

Realistic points after 8 games
Three tough league matches coming up (against what most would see a 'bigger ' teams : then Livvy and 6 pointer against Brechin (ffs). On current form could imagine us adrift after that lot.................. Depressing stuff.

Worst Ict team ever?
I thought we were dismal last season : definitely by a big margin the worst ever. team Haven't seen the team play this season, but early season results against the likes of Stirling Albion, Brechin and Forfar did not bode well...........and seem to have been carried over to the league. .................nothing coming out of the club to indicate any measures to sort the shambles out. County seem a much better run club , especially when they can attract the likes of Owen Coyle (I know Uncle Roy has deep pockets but Tullochs have done pretty well by us over the years). Unbelievably we are staring a Championship relegation battle in the face as things stand.......looking at the table there is an ever widening chasm between us and possible play off contenders.
