  1. My main worry is that if this is 'our level' then full time football is not sustainable without the income from the Premiership. Assuming the board don't generate alternative income streams (which we've always been awful at) or get bailouts I fear we just don't have the means to keep plugging away in the Championship.
  2. It was mentioned at the fans meeting near the start of the season. First I heard of it was then. Latest update was 2 months ago stating the council has passed the transfer. http://ictfc.com/news/club-news/2138-stadium-green-light-is-welcomed
  3. Charles I think you're vastly overstating people's objections about the Tulloch deal and to say there was 'abuse' seems like hyperbole, I certainly never saw any of that. Are the people concerned about the Tulloch deal even the same as those concerned about MM? Much of these issues come from a systemic lack of communication with the fans (or in some cases downright bad communication e.g. the season ticket renewal letter). We will make judgements of the available information. Often it's based on rumours, second hand information, and half truths or in some cases you have different 'factions' saying different things. GR started well enough, renewals aside, with positive ideas and talk at the fans meeting at the beginning of the season but that disappeared quickly. Perhaps that was linked to the shift in roles for Danny?
  4. I did make out something about a presentation over the garbled tannoy and I do feel bad for the players but I couldn't bring myself to stay. I was an utterly seething mess.
  5. Absolutely ridiculous we couldn't have a few boxes and some ballot sheets. And this is the times of 'improved communication' . At least I agree with the choice.
  6. Things are so bad the chairman is selling in the car boot sale?
  7. We'll be rebranded as the 'Highland Haggis'' or the 'Loch Ness Monsters'? Stadium to be renamed the Dream Ring Arena? Administration to be announced to avoid points deduction next season? The Board did meet at the stadium earlier today I believe. Plenty cars in the car park apparently. I've always fallen on the happy clapper side of things but I feel we're an absolute shambles for numerous reasons going back some years and it's seriously bad times ahead.
  8. Even if it's pi ss.
  9. Yeah I have to say I'm feeling super positive today for the future. 1. Stable team with good continuity for next season. 2. Responsive and communicative board that understand the fans. 3. Financially secure.
  10. Ach I'll not bother. We'll be 2 leagues apart soon anyway.
  11. I'd say closer to 100. There must have been 25ish on the bus alone. Plus Moff counts for 10 for his contributions.
  12. Good to hear things are moving in a positive and amicable direction.
  13. Last night at Dumbarton was ridiculous. Everyone standing was told to sit down no matter where they were and even if they weren't obstructing anyone's view. Gary Warren sat in the stand after his injury and the stewards made him empty his water bottle into a cup. Stewards seemed friendly enough, just ridiculously officious.
  14. Why would I go there?
  15. Having a different view is Polly bashing? Settle mun.
  16. Quite enjoyed that.
  17. It was myself who asked one if the young fans about this on Twitter when they mentioned being threatened with a 12 week ban for standing up. Of all the issues we have as a club right now they choose to put energies into this? Utter nonsense.
  18. Scrooge
  19. I see that the Facebook event for the meeting has just been deleted.
  20. Gender pay gap as it's represented in most of the media is a myth. Think it's all going a bit off topic here though.
  21. One of the biggest things that was said to be coming with the new administration was transparency and communication. Changes in senior positions would be a simple thing to communicate to fans. Scotty has outlined this above. Fan's organisation or no should have no bearing on this. As far as I'm aware the club have never used CJT as a direct method of communication. The club have a bigger reach and means than CJT ever would regardless. I don't think this is about bashing the club for the sake of it. Just nice to be kept in the loop as paying fans.
  22. Good question. I haven't seen Danny around in ages and he was nowhere to be seen in hospitality yesterday. Real shame if he is no longer around, was a nice friendly guy to chat with and seemed so passionate about improving the club.
  23. While yes some of the behaviour from some in the past has been a bit silly, these statements aren't helpful at all and just come across as cringey as hell. If someone has broken rules or the law so be it, just deal with that person or persons no need to make a song and dance about it. 9 times out of 10 it's probaby just someone who's a bit over excited and there's no malice. Only reason I can see why we repeatedly do this is because there's pressure from the authorities and we have to be 'seen' to be doing something about it. That's why I remain sober and impeccably behaved at all games...
  24. Dumbarton have it seems have sold around 1900 thus far.
