  1. SLO e-mail address present?
  2. Sounds good. Who went from CTO for Polworth?
  3. Had it's out of office on I think.
  4. I was gonna head down with the girls but given the weather I couldn't be arsed.
  5. I think folks are just struggling to get over last weekend's excitement.
  6. Why? If even if it does, it is still a poor and half baked option. It would be interesting to hear if the the club discussed the SLO function idea with the SFA before implementing it.
  7. Or Fred and Rose
  8. I kept an eye out for a HT draw seller, never noticed one outside and certainly not in the North Stand area, used to be a chap just inside the turnstiles but no longer. Guess so long are they're sold in hospitality that's the main thing... ? I also popped into the shop so my girls could have a wee look and quite honestly there wasn't anything that caught their eye but I did hear at least 2 people in the few minutes I was in asking for programmes. One in particular seemed quite bemused that we didn't sell any. And unless I misheard we do sell a printout (yes literally like an inkjet printout) of the online programme for £2 and not a very good quality printout. I think the chaps parting shot was something like 'I could have printed off something better at home' as he walked off.
  9. Absolutely. I understand the frustration from the fans and I share it but I've never understood what people hope to achieve by whining at and booing their own players.
  10. Highlight of the game for me was going to the toilet.
  11. Dougal for SLO #anameyoucantrust
  12. Other than one person suggesting that there is some kind of 'election' I don't think that there's any drive for the club not to be able to choose the individual. More the issue is that the club don't appear to want to have the SLO role given to anyone in particular but rather as an ethereal 'function'. Which personally sounds like they'll have a generic inbox that 'somebody' will deal with but nobody's really responsible with any real power or time to fulfil the role properly.
  13. Kristine I think but it was literally in name only. We've never really had one. I thought you didn't care? ???
  14. If how the club interact with fans (including yourself) is pointless to you fair enough.
  15. The SLO role is literally in bold at the bottom of the original post. The silver licence is quite convoluted I'd suggest Google it. As to if you should care, that's up to you.
  16. I know there's some big words in there but it's not that confusing. From what I've just read the ST and club met, discussed it, club indicated they were going to appoint a SLO as would match their silver licence aspirations and what Supporters Direct advise in the handbook. Club then emailed to say they were going to have a nebulous SLO 'function' as opposed to what is recommended and what had been discussed in the previous meeting. Therefore the ST did not endorse what they likely see as a half measure. Does that about cover it?
  17. How many does it have?
  18. I see also that they're setting up a separate charity for community work related things in the hope to attract grant funding etc.
  19. I thought income from the car wash at least (which is gone) went to community development? Quite frankly I couldn't care less really. Better they're put to some use generating income than sitting empty on the off chance they might be needed a couple of times a year.
  20. Couple of pints at the Nip Inn then down to the game ?
  21. If you have a look at last weekend's progamme it says we are going for a silver SFA licence from bronze. Not sure what that means exactly on terms of facilities. With the car park, other than better lighting in the dark evenings not sure what else could be done. Paving it all would incur huge rates I believe and will we not be giving them to Tulloch in the near future if this deal ever goes through?
  22. My intention was not to have yet another moan about the board thread of which there are plenty already. Anyway they are communicating on this issue at least and if they'd done nothing for the occasion I'm certain they'd be lambasted for it all over here. Perhaps shows how many read the online programme but as nobody has mentioned it here is some communication from the CEO at least... https://www.docdroid.net/ptvRWlh/ictfc-matchday-5-partick-thistle.pdf
  23. I disagree that we shouldn't do anything for it, honestly there will always be 'better' things to lend resources to but events or ideas needn't cost vast sums of money. Things like a commemorative strip could be cost neutral. We've accomplished great things in a relatively short space of time and I think that it should be celebrated in some way. Hopefully generate a bit of a buzz and some more interest in the club. Naturally winning the league would be the best thing we could do but I'd like to think that's our aim regardless of the year. That said it's my youngest's birthday soon and as cash is a bit tight perhaps I should tell her there's no party this year as quite frankly there's better things we could spend the money on. ?
  24. Apologies if this has been posted before. Looks like the club are after ideas to celebrate us turning a quarter of a century old. http://www.ictfc.com/index.php/news/club-news/2300-ict-25th-anniversary-celebrations‬ I like the strip and Bolton idea. Whatever ideas they go for I just hope they're affodable for the average fan. e.g. no £100 sportsmen dinners at the Drumossie.
  25. Wrong thread bro.
