Human nature I guess CaleyD, people love a bit of juicy gossip! Regardless if it any basis on reality. I don't know how often people log in etc but, with the exception of a few I take most things (and posts) with a pinch of salt. At least they had the decency to put it in the rumour sub-forum.

If you control a game and do nothing up front to put the game to bed then it's all for nothing. It's a results business. IMO that's simply wasting chances and possession, not excellent play. Even after going one up we couldn't kill the game off. When things start to go wrong we don't seem to have the resilience to dig deeper and turn it around, which is worrying. TB needs to take more proactive action when things are not working, Tade should have been hooked for Winnall after an hour, take off McKay for Sutherland (not at 90 mins!), why not? In fact why not start the next game with Gnakpa and Winnall, I always feel Tade would be beter as an impact player who could come on at around 75/80 mins and use his power and strength to go for tired defenders. Regardless Terry has his favourites it seems and they are above being dropped/criticism. It's not all Butcher's fault of course, some of the players need to have a word with themselves. Hibs didn't deserve to win, but they scored 3 and we scored 2, unfortunately that's all that matters at the end of the day. Another dram methinks. Sigh. Edit- Didn't realise Gnapka wasn't on the bench, doh!

In reality our season last year was made falsely better by a good start and a good finished. We barely picked up a point from November to March. It's hardly false, our results over the season reflect the final position! Hardly matters at what points you have good or bad spells.

Strange as it may sound I hope that he is still injured as if he is fit he should be straight back into the team. Wednesday night was crying out for someone like Hayes to come on and make an impact. Maybe he said something nasty to Foran and now TB is making an example of him! ;)

I sit behind the goals and the stj player just dropped like a stone IMO. You start to doubt yourself when a lot of folk in the main stand thought it was a stonewaller. However on seeing the highlights I havent changed my original opinion at all that it was harsh. Yeah I thought it was harsh too (as did plenty others around me) and said so on here, but was told that it was a stonewaller, glad I'm not needing another trip to the opticians!

He's certainly improved from the 1st half of the season where he was very poor both performance wise and in the captaincy. Looks like he's got his mojo back, hopefully it stays that way as even if he became the worst player in the SPL TB wouldn't drop him anyway.
